OUTRAGEOUSLYSLOW!!! It took over 25 minutes to go through the line. The staff is leisurely at best. The manager seemed absolutely unconcerned about the pace when she came out front. Definitely don’t go here if you are trying to make a flight. This review is for the location in terminal two. The burgers are not up to the usual standards of The Counter either.

Don’t ever go here. Sure the place looks cool, but the food is terrible and not nearly worth the outrageous prices. Save yourself from making the same mistake I did and avoid this place. Hopefully, LAX just gets rid of it.

Looks can be deceiving… This place looks all fancy and hip, and charges fancy prices($ 12 for a cheeseburger), but it was so incredibly mediocre, that if I wasn’t starving and on a time crunch, I would’ve taken it back and asked for my money. The meat was dry, over cooked and bland, tomatoes were unripe(greenish color, hard), the burger had no sauce, and over all the flavors did not blend together… It was just«bla». I would’ve given 2 stars if I didn’t feel tricked by their false advertising and imagine that they make artisan burger, and if I hadn’t paid a premium burger Brice on it. On top of all that the cashier was not nice. She didn’t do anything wrong, but she didn’t smile and had this look on her face that showed she doesn’t care what you think, and that she would not hesitate to argue with you and have an attitude if you were to complain.

World’s slowest airport kitchen. Every time I come it’s a 10, 15, 20 minute wait for your order. Doesn’t matter if the food court is busy or half-empty. Asked if a BLT was any faster(no need to cook a 1⁄3rd pound beef patty, just fry up some bacon they probably already have a pile of, right?), said it was still 20 minutes. Repeated fail. No thanks. Actual The Counter restaurants are generally great, sadly this does not translate to the airport location.

Worst burger I’ve EVER had. I ordered the beef burger with cheddar, roasted Anaheim chilies, onions, and organic greens. It sounded great until I took my first bite. Burger completely charred on the outside, grey on inside and STEAMING. I asked the(very rude) staff if the burger was nuked — all I received was a phoney laugh implying I was crazy. Never again. Horrific and $ 20+.

Ordered sliders and fries, took over 15 minutes. Don’t mind waiting for decent food, but the food was not edible. Tried one bite of each slider, hoping somehow the next wasn’t burnt. Each was unbearably burnt. I absolutely love a good charbroiled burger, this was like a piece of toast left in the toaster for 20 minutes too long. Each bite left black crispy residue in my teeth and hands. The buns on the sliders were the same, cracking and falling into crumbs from being over toasted. And again, I really like crispy toast, this was black from burning. And to the fries? Oh how I prayed the fires were at least decent. But they were burnt to a crisp. The texture was slightly firmer than a croûton. I paid over $ 25 for something I took 3 unbearable bites of. I would advise the cooks or manager to taste what they are making. Would you eat that? Would you pay for that? When something falls and breaks into pieces on the floor it’s either a chip or way over done. DONOTRECOMMEND!

Spectacular train wreck of a restaurant. Unbelievable delays, missed orders, cold food, entire orders dropped jelly-side down and then scooped up and shoveled out anyway to near hysterical customers; folks torn between deciding to wait for their $ 20 burger and fries, or make their connection to Denver. Truly felt like a reality TV restaurant program, which given the LA location sort of makes sense. Despite blowing $ 60 on my non-meal for my real family, I actually felt sorry for the poorly trained and supported counter staff tossed into this disaster of a job. Management, turn in your franchise card at the door and apologize to your staff and customers.
