This store isn’t the biggest nor fanciest bridal shop, but they do have nice dresses. I had no time to order my wedding dress to my size due to the fact that it takes 7 months to arrive, so I bought my dress off the rack. Fortunately, I love my dress it is beyond gorgeous & fits perfectly with my theme. However, I did have certain problems. My dress is entirely lace & really detailed so I asked the worker if it would be a problem to have it altered. She gave me the business card of her seamstress & said there would be no problem. I asked her how much the seamstress usually charges for the resizing & she told me around 30 $. To my surprise, when I met with the seamstress she wanted to charge me 525 $??? That is half the price of my entire gown! I took my dress & I am getting it altered elsewhere. The seamstress Shirley charges ridiculous prices & I was upset that the worker gave me misleading information over the pricing of the alteration. Luckily, I found my dream dress here. But I hate that I’m struggling with altering my dress due to misleading service.

I’m not one to write reviews, but I feel it’s necessary so others don’t waste their time here. This website says they carry designer gowns yet when you walk in most all styles are out dated and not the true designer. There are only two rows of bridal dresses and they are all in plastic garments bags tightly packed in on a rack.
I was looking for a dress by Casablanca but nothing compared to the quality. There was one Pronovias gown but it had a tag on the inside that said made in China!!! I only have to assume most of what they carry are counterfeit designs which is extremely unfortunate and ridiculous! Really…“made in China”.
The lady here was nice, but I wasn’t expecting to walk into a musty place with poor quality gowns. I tried on 2 dresses to be nice but I literally could have walked out within 5 minutes of entering.

My friend (bride-​to-​be) and all of us bridesmaids came here recently to find the bride’s dress. The good thing is that we found something that we all liked, hard to come by. However, this was in no part thanks to the staff. When we first arrived, we were greeted promptly and things seemed to be running smoothly. After my friend had shown the associate the style of dress she was looking for and shared her budget, the lady came back with literally two dresses. No other suggestions. She then told us we could just look ourselves, which was fine. Then as we start to look we get told that we aren’t looking in the right section, it’s wayyyy over budget. Even that I’m not mad at. Then, we see a dress that we didn’t love, but thought, «why not?» We ask her how much the dress cost and she looked at us frowning and said, «thats over your budget». Ok, so the bride continues to ask, «how much over budget?», she replies with, «a little over your budget.» The bride asks again how much and we finally get her to tell us it’s only $ 100 – 200 over budget. Fighting with a bride over $ 100 just seems ridiculous. As she is trying on dresses, the associate cannot answer any of our questions. Apparently the seamstress is not on sight and the staff is completely clueless as to how to discuss alterations. Then the pricing is quoted. We were told one price. She walks over to write down the quote and comes back saying the dress is $ 100 more. We question this obviously, and one of her peers jumps in and says, «Oh you must’ve heard it wrong. It’s this.» Clearly not all 6 of us heard it wrong, your associate didnt relay the information correctly. She attempted a bs apology but we were all over it. The lacked in professionalism and customer service, and was merely lucky to have a few nice dresses we found to make this a decent experience.

I went to this shop with an appointment on a Sunday. I took my bridesmaids with me. This experience wasn’t the best. I was asked what I was looking for. I showed the sales rep what I wanted and she pulled 1 – 2 dresses and told us we could pull others. The one I ended up liking was chosen by my maid of honor. When I asked for prices it went down hill. I gave them my budget. They told me the dress I was looking at was a little over budget. I asked well how much exactly and she was hesitant to tell me.(it was maybe 100 – 200) :/​I didn’t like that it felt like pulling teeth to get an answer. They do have some nice dresses but overall kinda small selection.

There was a really small selection here. I did not like how everything was so tightly packed like sardines in plastic because it was really hard to see that beautiful dresses.
There was a really neat book with a huge selection of swatches of different colors that the bridesmaid dresses could come in.
The appointment was really quick but I felt like there was a bit of pressure to let the owner know when we were ready to get the bridesmaid dresses even though we hadn’t decided on the actual bride dress!

I did not end up buying my dress here, but there was a dress there that I loved. I just didn’t love it enough. We showed up right on time but the people before us were late due to a car accident so we went through the dresses until the sales lady was done helping them and able to help us. I think having 2 sales people would have been nice because then we wouldn’t have to wait. The sales lady (I forget her name) was very nice and friendly. The dresses were affordable at least the one I thought about getting was. She did not ask my price point and only asked the style I liked. I am so thankful I didn’t end up falling in love with a dress that was over my budget. I was able to try on as many dresses as I wanted which was nice. The store is small including the dressing rooms. But, you don’t feel overwhelmed which is nice. I do wish they had better seating for my mom and maid of honor who were with me.

My review is a little long overdue as my wedding was more than a month ago and the last time I was in this place was 3 weeks before that. Forgive me for being so busy.:)
Anyway, this place is not the fancy classy bridal shop that you will find. It was just a small store and nothing like the champagne/​say yes to the dress kind of shop. BUT what made me love this place are the designer wedding gowns they are carrying, they are wonderful. They have a huge selection and are all gorgeous, that really made me confuse to pick the perfect gown. And price points are good and reasonable. I’ve been to a lot of bridal shops, fancier as you can imagine, but prices were soo high that it’s not even worthy.
Thila is really nice, I think she is the owner, she helped me pick my dress. And even get the perfect size. And you will surely be taken care properly because she makes sure here appointments don’t overlap. No feeling of being in a hurry. She even let me try on dresses over and over again to compare. She also helped me get my dress altered and suggested a wonderful person (i believe the alteration lady, Sirly is not from this company) to work with my dress.:)
Why will I go to fancy places if I can get the perfect dress here.:)

If you’re looking for a «high end» experience this probably is not the place for you. You won’t get served champaign under a crystal chandelier, but you will find your dream dress. I tried on a bunch of dresses and liked them all! I unlike the other comments about Shirley, was very impressed. She worked around my hectic schedule for my fittings, not to mention she took my beautiful wedding dress that was ALL lace from a size 11 to a 0. I was extremely impressed with her detail.

I’ve had two experiences with this place. The first was for bridesmaid dresses and although the sales lady was awkward, it wasn’t terrible. Noticeably, this place is a dump. They don’t even vacuum the nasty brown carpet and it’s clearly dirty there. As we were trying on sample gowns, it didn’t bother me much. Anyhow, we didn’t end up buying dresses there because they were high end prices for a poor experience. Today was my second experience… The shop was still dirty and my fiancé used the restroom (OUTSIDE!!!) and was completely disgusted. The reason for my appointment today was to meet with their suggested seamstress. I bought my dress in az, so I needed someone local. The lady, Sirley, was very rough with the dress. She cut pieces off of my dress without asking and was so harsh. Please note that m dress is all French beaded Lace. She used SAFETY PINS TO PULL IN MY DRESS. She also kept trying to up sell me on this and that. The total cost without any up selling was 750 dollars!!! She doesn’t even have references, a Unilocal page, or any type of social medico checkout the quality of her work. Also when I told her id like to think about it, she was very rude and started showing me other invoices to show my quote was comparable. She was very rude when we left. I would not trust my dress with her and will not be returning.
TO THE OWNER IN RESPONSE TO THEIR COMMENT ON MY REVIEW: Yes, this was my third alterations appointment, so I know how the pricing works. And again, your girl is way overpriced. Go to West Coast Couture if you’re looking for alterations. She’s nice, excited about your dress, and turns out great results. She doesn’t aggressively handle your dress or show you other peoples invoices when you kindly tell her you need a night to think about it. What a terrible attitude she had when I told her I needed to have a moment before I make any rash decisions. I definitely would not recommend her to anyone. You should consider contracting with another seamstress, as well.

Haven’t bought anything yet but had a great appointment here. We came in on an early Friday afternoon. Had a good variety of bridesmaid dresses and were very helpful. Shop was just the right size and cool on a hot day (important when you are trying on heavy gowns, for brides out there).

If you’re looking for a fancy boutique that serves you wine, this is not your place. However, if you’re looking for a chill, easy, non-​stress inducing dress search with friendly staff, this is your place.
I came here with one of my two bridesmaids and worked with Anissa. She was super friendly, funny, and there was absolutely no pressure. We looked through all of their vendors bridesmaid dresses on their website prior so we had an idea of what we wanted to try on.
We ended up going with our first choice and it only took about 40 minutes total. Prices are based on vendor pricing, but they’ll work with you for discounts and payment schedules.
Was told dress would take about 3 months to receive. They have a partnership with a seamstress that can meet you there… but also you’re able to go elsewhere.

I went to The Image during the day and from other Unilocal reviews I knew not to expect much — it’s not fancy. I’m giving it 4 stars based on their staff. So crazy freakin nice and helpful. I had fun joking around with her. I docked them one star because they don’t have a huge selection of dresses and there weren’t many that I wanted to try on, but it might not be the case for other girls. Definitely give them a shot…

This place was so great with helping me find my dress. It’s a small boutique, and by small I mean SMALL. The owner is super sweet and very helpful. Their prices were good, the quality of the dresses were good and the selection was good. My dress was a little under $ 1300, and I couldn’t be happier.

The Image was my second stop on my hunt for the perfect wedding dress. That made it both easier and more difficult. It was easier because I had some experience in wearing/​looking for a wedding dress, and it was more difficult because I kept adding to the list of things that looked amazing on me.
I want to give them five stars because the dresses there were amazing and affordable. However, I felt the experience was slightly lacking. Maybe it’s just that the shop is so small. Atmosphere is an area they can improve.
I would recommend them to a friend as they had a nice selection. Everything I tried on looked amazing. There wasn’t one dress is tried on here which I didn’t like.

I have visited this store recently. My last visit was checking out the inventory and the place. It’s very boutique. I like that the racks were organized, the person who showed me around was friendly and helpful, and the place had great parking. It’s a good idea to compare and shop around before you buy a dress to get the best dress for you.

Went into this place this past Friday with two of my bridesmaids and Jessica was simply AMAZING! This was already my six store going in and looking for a wedding dress, I gave her an idea of what I was looking for and she hit on the spot! I tried it on and I was sold immediately. Jessica always kept it professional and most of all always had a smile on her face while doing her job.
Now here’s where I have something negative to say (not about Jess but instead of her co-​worker). When asking Jess if it was possible to come in on Sunday for my mom to look at the dress, her co-​worker (didn’t get her name but is Asian) who was helping a group of bridesmaids turned to us and butts into our conversation by saying «Oh we’ll I believe there’s someone who is interested in that dress and will be coming in tomorrow so more than likely not be here» she even left the girls she was helping for a minute to explain to me how I would need to get the dress now or else it will be gone, bottom line she became very pushy on trying to make a sell right there and then. I spoke to Jess and left it at «I’ll be coming on Sunday with my mom «Of course I ended out going on Sunday to look at the dress and what do you know the dress was still there. Bottom line if your looking for a wedding dress this place has a huge selection and ask for Jessica she made my experience awesome!

my cousin is getting married and wanted us all to try on the dresses before a final decision was made. I visited the image yesterday to try on bridesmaids dresses completely last minute. i called an hour before and they had an appointment available. jessica helped me out – she was extremely sweet and informative.
i already had a list of styles i wanted to try on, and this was the only location near me that had them all, and more (dessy and after six brands).
since all of the other bridesmaids are trying them on together, i wanted to go try them on myself before and send them photos. she took all the photos, wrote on all the prices and styles and told me about a group discount we could receive if we ordered 5 or more together.
the store isnt huge, but that’s actually a good thing. going into a place like davids bridal can be overwhelming. this was more much personal and helpful. and the people actually seemed to care (unlike past experiences). i will be back!

Great place she can find you anything you need almost for a great price. Bridal, Gowns, etc.
The place does not look like Vera Wang so if you want a stylish boutique that serves you Champagne this is not it. You want a great dress, quickly, and for a great price come here and she makes it happen.

If you look at my profile I have very few negative reviews. I was raised if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all. I only write negative reviews if my experience was so bad that I feel the need to warn other people. I would give this place 0 starts if I could. I was with my soon to be sister and this was the first place we went to.
First — This store was dirty!!! I use to work in retail and each of the 5 stores I worked in required us to vacuum or sweep everyday before we opened the store. This store looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. It really did look like a garage sale or an old costume basement in a run down theater.
Second — this place is much too small to have more than one appointment at a time. It was so crowded.
Third — The air conditioner did not work. When it is 100 degrees in LA it does not make sense to not have an air conditioner. It is completely gross to be trying on dresses that other women have been sweating in.
Fourth — The woman who was helping us was completely rude! She did not try to help us at all. The other woman who was helping the second bride looked to be about 18, was nice but had no idea what she was doing.
Fifth — The dresses were made out of cheap fabric and poorly made. The prices were about the same price or higher than the store we absolutely loved.
If this had been my appointment I would have walked out immediately. I think my soon to be sister was just being nice. I am surprised the Knot website recommended this store. My sister had a better experience, better quality dress and saved about $ 600 going to David’s Bridal.

The Image was my first stop in search of my dream wedding dress. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about dresses and styles as well as flexible about setting appointments, which helped ease my stress. Although I did not find my dream dress here, I found several «back ups», for which, had I gone that route, would have saved me a significant amount of $$! I happened to choose a designer dress that was sold only through the designer. However, The Image does carry a wide selection of dresses, and for those of you on a budget, there is a decent selection of discounted gowns.
I definitely recommend The Image as any bride’s first stop for her wedding dress. Wishing the best of to all the brides in finding your dream gown!
