Before, this place was located across the street where the Whittier and Indiana Autozone is. Now they changed here, a couple of meters apart. They have more seats even though I always take it to go and new aguas frescas flavors, I loved the cucumber with pineapple one, it was very refreshing and full of flavor, I ordered a large. Their quesadillas are amazing, handmade tortillas and a variety of choices for them. The cheese is just cheese but the addictive kind, it makes you want to try more quesadillas. I had tinga, spicy but not my favorite. My best friend makes better delicious tinga with all due respect. However, their asada, chorizo, and chicharron are to die for! They add sour cream, lettuce, salsa, etc. come and try them for yourself, or if you are the restaurant type go to their brand new location also in Whittier Blvd. and Soto(right across YMCA!). Can’t wait to go see it, the two ladies that work here are really nice and gave me some flyer to get a good deal.

If you are in Boyle Heights, and looking for a Taco fix, head to the Little Machin. Yes, the stand has the word machine spelled incorrectly! Yes, they do not have tacos listed as one of their offerings. Yes, the women running this place are grumpy. Heck, you would be too if you had to stand on your feet all day serving the residents of Boyle Heights. Once you get past the grumpy women running this little stand, you will be quite impressed with what they have to offer. One last negative. Pricing. Cheap this place is not, so, if you are looking for cheap, go elsewhere. If you are looking for fresh tortillas made on the spot, this is the place. The ladies running this spot have, in my opinion, have two gems. The Tacos and the Quesadillas. The tortillas are made on the spot. Because of this, food is not served assembly line style. So, a King Taco experience is not one you should expect here. Order some tacos with a quesdilla. Stay away from the crema. Drop some of the onion and green avocado salsa on top. Heaven. Finally, keep in mind this spot is no longer where Unilocal!says it is. They are located on Whittier Boulevard between 3822 and 3825 Whittier Boulevard. They don’t show up until after 7ish. Bring cash as they don’t accept plastic.

Some people don’t know anything about Mexican food! King taco is trash comparing to this food! The best quesadillas de flor de calabaza.

2.00 a taco… Over priced when king taco is down the street selling tacos for 1.25 and have better salsas. Also the Hand made tortillas are over hyped.

Perfect quesadilla de tenga. So yummy If I was still hungry I would grab one more. Flour tortilla with cheese and shredded chicken with shredded lettuce and their special sauce. I added the guacamole sauce to make it extra saucy and it came out great. Only $ 4 bucks. Beats and fast food like mcdonalds or jack in the box or if you’re from phoenix it beats filib’s easy.

Sure, I’ll grab the«first to review» badge. The Little Machin is parked just off of Cesar Chavez Ave and serves up tacos, quesadillas, huaraches, tortas, etc. along with some delicous-looking aguas frescas. They hand-press their own tortillas, which is always a big plus. I ordered the quesadilla asada and ended up getting a quesadilla-sized taco( ). It’s not fried or even put on a stove like your standard quesadilla. There’s crema and shredded lettuce and some cotija cheese in there, but none of the gooey deliciousness that you’ll get when you order quesadillas other places. That being said, it was still quite good(mostly due to the delicious tortilla) after opening it up and adding the usual taco fixings. The asada was way too fatty but was seasoned well. Also tried the tinga(not spicy at all) and the chicharron(soggy, as it is with most taco places). Not sure what the best meat is here but it’s not one of the three I tried. Order first and pay after you finish your food.
