The Los Feliz Medspa

I absolutely love the staff and all of the services and procedures I’ve had over the years at the Los Feliz med spa. I’m almost embarrassed to admit I see them more frequently than my own family, but people guess my age as ten years younger than I am so duh, totally worth it. Also, I’m not sure who does the fantastic illustrations on the signs outside advertising the specials but if there was an award for such things I would nominate them and they would surely win. Shout out to all the doctors there who patiently answer all of my annoying questions.

My face looks amazing once again– thanks to the highly skilled and professional work of Dr. Ware and her staff. Botox, filler, Fraxel– used in minimally needed increments have really perfected my face and reversed the aging process extremely. I’m really happy with the results and I feel that Dr. Ware has a truly artistic eye in seeing what your face needs or may not need. It’s always a pleasure coming here, the staff is excellent and the office is beautiful. I’m always completely at ease and feel that we do just enough to make me look the best I can. The Botox is perfect, the lips look natural and beautiful, and the skin has become more radiant.

This is by far and away the only Medspa I will ever go to again. Dr. Ware is amazingly skilled, patient and wonderful about explaining ALL options without making me ever feel pressured. She had even sent me away if she thinks I don’t need treatment! The first place I went to made me feel like I needed all sorts of work done and actually made me feel a little bad about myself. Dr. Ware and really everyone who works here is very knowledgeable and they stay on top of all the latest technologies and I always walk away looking NATURAL and not DONE. It’s the best part of this place– no one would ever know a thing! Not to mention how wonderfully clean and inviting the actual spa is, I usually treat myself to some wonderful tea it a chocolate while I’m waiting. Don’t wait! I trust her and everyone at Los Feliz MedSpa with my face, so should you!

Dr Ware is an excellent physician who is knowledgeable and skillful and addresses your personal needs for treatments. Everyone there is very professional The treatment pricing is very fair, but the products are expensive.

I started going to Los Feliz Medspa from a referral. I think guys have a slightly different set of expectations and thoughts about going to a spa where you think it’s geared for women. I’ve now been a patient there for over two years – that should speak for itself.
I have used several services and have received excellent care from not only Dr. Ware, but also Elizabeth and Heidi. Even the office crew is professional, quick, and responsive.
Best of all, I just smile when people tell me «how great I look and what’s my secret»…I just say «The Happy Medspa» spanish translation for Los Feliz and Medspa…

Yes, this is my «happy place.» After trying other medspas on the East and West Coasts, I discovered Dr. Ware and The Los Feliz Medspa in 2007, and I have never been dissatisfied (actually, I always leave over the moon). Dr. Ware sends me out the door feeling so confident and refreshed, that I want the world to see me right away. The entire team are not only experienced and skillful, but you can tell that they care very much about their patients and each one’s individual tastes and needs. I love that although Dr. Ware has introduced me to techniques and treatments that were not on my radar, she has only done so because they are appropriate to my age, needs, and aesthetic concerns. She will not send you our of her office looking overdone– or feeling uncomfortable. Each one of the professionals at Los Feliz Medspa (I’ve met with most of them at one time or another for various treatments) shares the same philosophy: each patient is different and the treatments are individually tailored — not some uniform run of the mill treatment that works for «most» clients. If it is not going to help you to address your concerns, rather than waste time and money, they will tell you right off. There is no overselling or upselling, here — this is about as honest as it gets. Prices are likely the best in town, too — and I find it ironic that the best medspa in So Cal and beyond (in my opinion) offers reasonable prices for those of us that want to look our best, but can’t justify spending a mint. By the way, I never give 5 stars.

I have been seeing Heidi and Dr. Ware at The Los Feliz Med Spa for a couple of years. I have had Fraxel and Thermage treatments. The results have been amazing. Everyone on the staff are very professional. The appointments are on time and the procedures are fully explained. I would recommend it for the amazing results and the honesty of the staff.

Great honest place. They take everything into account before recommending expensive yet necessary treatments. Many places just want your money, they’ve always been flexible and understanding with my schedule.

Had an initial consultation for IPL and my first treatment a few days later. Staff were pleasant, friendly, and efficient. Treatment was well-​explained, and professionally administered.

I had a terrible experience there. When I called to come back in because I was having an adverse effect, I was told to wait a week. After the 3^rd call, they finally saw me, admitted the product had been poorly administrated but refused to either redo the procedure or reimburse me. I have since done the same procedure for less than half of the price with no bruising and to total satisfaction. You don not have to pay double for bad service that leaves you disfigured for 3 weeks.

Heidi is amazing! She helped me when I had given up hope!

Hands down best spa in LA! I’ve been coming here for years and am always so happy with the results. Super friendly environment with skilled staff. I always trust that I’m in good hands. This is the type of business that genuinely makes you feel like an appreciated customer.

We Love this med spa. It’s very clean and has a nice ambiance. Everyone that works here is great. We both got a series of IPL treatments and microdermabrasion. Our skin looks amazing. You definitely get what you pay for and we are willing to spend the money at a med spa that makes us feel comfortable. Thank you Los Feliz Med Spa :)

Had a great Rejuvenating Facial by Saffron. Saffron was personable and really diligent with extractions. When the steam wore off my face, she put a hot towel on each region of my face to open up my pours. I like that they use IS Clinical products.

I love Dr. Ware. I’m 41 now and even though I take good care of my skin, I have started to notice a few «issues» let’s just say she pretty much fixed them. If you are thinking of getting any sort of injecttables for the first time, look no further. Dr. Ware is very skilled at what she does and she wont make you look anything but beautiful! My word.
I didn’t even feel a thing & she used NO ICE! I’m a trainer, early tho bed/​early to rise, so I want to look rested at all times. I am sooooo please with the results. Do not be cheap when it comes to your skin ladied! email me if you want more scoop on this artist!
They have this real cool machine that takes a photo of your face down to the bone? I believe. Well she told me flat out «I can’t try and sell you anything because your skin is perfect» really? Nothing to buy? darn! oh well! So a few weeks later I did get MicroDerm with all of the extras. I forget the nice lady’s name, but she even called a few days later to check in on my skin:) She also skipped her lunch for me (I showed up a day early for my appointment by mistake) hahah! sooooo nice! I felt bad about that and hope they were able to book my slot for the next day… Los Feliz MediSpa is my new spot for medical grade stuff I need now that I am in the big 40’s
I have been getting facials and Micro for over 25 years now weekly me tell you IT WORKS! Facial Fitness is very important and you should start at about 16 or 17.

I came to this location because they carry BelleDerm products. Upon on my arrival, I was greeted by a lovely, friendly and welcoming aesthetician named Saffon. She provided me with information regarding the product I was interested in as well as explained why this spa uses this particular line. I was very impressed with this spa’s staff, and will definitely make an appointment at this location the next time I will need a facial.

5 stars for Dr. Michelle Ware and the staff. 3 stars for the price of the IS Clinical products.
I had an initial consult with Dr. Ware about some light scarring and hyper-​pigmentation going on from my pregnancy and residual sun damage from my years as an irresponsible sun worshipper. She is absolutely wonderful, patient, kind and most importantly… honest. I would definitely suggest her to anyone going to see a Dermatologist for the first time.
The products I was suggested to use was IS Clinical facial cleanser, IS White Lightening complex and serum and was priced at $ 260 + tax. She gave me a few samples to try out and I absolutely loved it. However, I searched on the internet and other Med Spas and actually found my product plus a Sunscreen and an extra bonus product in a kit, for about $ 30 less. They were the same size and same exact product as the one I was suggested at LFMS. I went ahead and purchased my products from Encino Laser Center for $ 230 but unfortunately I did not like the Dermatologists or the service there.
I will definitely be coming back to LFMS to see Dr. Ware and staff for my services and have suggested her to my friends and family already. I was very happy with the service, I just found the prices for products to be a little less somewhere else.

Altho extremely disappointed that the work I had booked was not actually the work I received, I did agree to go back in for another $ 500, to actually have the lines around my mouth filled, and the pouches along my jawline smoothed out.
Mind you, this is what I asked for in the first place, and what we agreed upon, and was billed $ 1,300 for.
Two days prior to my appointment, a receptionist called and said they would have to re-​schedule the appointment. When I asked for a date to put in my calendar, I heard a woman’s voice, not the receptionist’s, say, ‘just hang up.‘
The call ended shortly after. I repeatedly called to ask what was going on, but my calls were screened, and no one ever picked up the phone.
I wanted to complete the work, tho did not want to repeat my experience with Dr. Ware, as I felt she neglected to perform the work I asked for and that deeply disappointed me.
My initial consultation was with Heidi and I felt she would perform the service I had booked.
So I went in personally.
The receptionists claimed Heidi was not on the schedule, as I had asked for her to do the work, she did the initial consultation, after all.
I remained calm, but found it difficult to believe that an employee suddenly had no schedule, and would not return my calls or address my valid concerns over going off-​contract and using my visit opportunistically to necessitate repeat visits.
No attempt was made to address my dissatisfaction, or to make amends. A truthful negative review should be an opportunity for the provider to correct their customer service.
A patient is also a consumer; when we are treated poorly, it is often our only option to write a review of our experience, where it might be helpful to other potential patient consumers, and to be of benefit to the management so that they can rectify those business practices which take advantage of their client base.

I had a great experience here about six months ago with my first round of Restylane injections for smile lines. I was very nervous about the procedure and wanted to have the procedure done by Dr Weir who apparently owns the spa. She could not accommodate my schedule, so I had to have a consult with their physician’s assistant, Michelle. Michelle spent a long time addressing all of my concerns and was totally patient with all of my questions. I decided to move forward with the procedure and was thrilled with the results. Michelle really took her time analyzing the contours of my face and went very slowly with the injections to make sure that she was not over correcting the lines.
Fast forward six months. Michelle has apparently gone back to school so now I had to book an appointment with Dr. Weir. I work a ton and the only time I could go was at 4 p.m. on a Friday. I booked the appt. almost a month out. No one called me the day before to confirm, so I called in myself to double check on the appt. Lo and behold, they told me I was not on the schedule at 4, but rather at noon. I am meticulous about my calendar, so someone on their end clearly made a mistake. Now I had to reschedule for that Saturday and drive all the way across town to have the injections done. When I arrived, I was told that a woman named Heidi would be doing my injections, not Dr. Weir. Not only was Heidi not a doctor, but i had never met her or had any kind of consultation with her. Nor did I know anything about her training or ability.
The reality is this: someone was going to stick needles in my face and inject a substance that may or may not be reversible and may or may not produce negative results. You want to be real comfortable with the person who is going to be doing the procedure. It’s like booking an appt. with your gynecologist and then being told when you show up for the appt. that some nurse you’ve never met or been able to evaluate or develop a repoire with is now going to stick forceps up your vajayjay. I’m sorry, but this is unacceptable.
Needless to say, I had already had to reschedule and really wanted to get the injections done so I took a chance on Heidi. Big mistake! She took hardly any time to really evaluate my face and then rushed the injections, over correcting the smile lines to the extent that I looked puffy faced, like you look after a night out of partying.
When I Ieft, I had a HUGE lump on the left side of my nose that basically looked like I had been bitten by some sort of poisonous spider. both sides of my face were puffy (and not just from normal swelling) which actually only served to accentuate the very problem I was trying to correct. It’s been about a week now and the puffiness has gone down and the lump should be gone in another week. I think it’ll be okay in the end, but the whole scheduling, bait & switch carelessness thing really pissed me off. The reception guy was super nice and sympathetic. They were all nice, in fact, but absolutely horrible customer service this time around and a very lackadaisical attitude about a delicate medical procedure that requires skill and patience to do correctly.

This place is a total scam. I came here two years ago and purchased 5 laser hair removal treatments. After going through each painful session, I saw no difference whatsoever in my hair growth patterns and was still growing hair. I think I convinced myself that it had worked to some extent. Also, the lady who treated me was very cold, and each time I had a treatment with her she seemed absolutely so pissed that she had to complete such a disgusting task.
I was doing the treatment because I have a skin condition which was being irritated by the hair growth, so when I recently went to my dermatologist she was shocked to hear that I had paid for (though, I will say, they were well priced) and completed 5 sessions of laser hair removal since she saw no difference between me and someone who had never had such treatment. I told her I thought it was normal since Los Feliz Medspa had told me it would take 10 treatments to completely rid the area of hair permanently. She looked at me like I was crazy, and also with pity at what had clearly been a scam. «Two treatments here and you will never have this problem again.»
So here I am, once again going through laser hair removal in the exact same area I have already spent over $ 600 to treat. five times. and painfully. When I had my first treatment with my dermo I was shocked that it was NOTHING like the treatment I recieved at LFMedspa. When I told that to the laser specialist, she said «was it like, they held the laser in place and then you heard a beep?» I said YES, and she informed me, shaking her head, that what I had was not, in fact, laser hair removal, but rather some sort of laser light treatment.
After my first treatment of laser hair removal with my dermatologist two weeks ago the affected area has barely regrown the hair that was in that area. It has already worked. in one treatment. a million times better than what Los Feliz Medspa did in five.
DON’T get laser hair removal here. It’s a SCAM. go to a real doctor’s office and get it done right the first time.
