Elevators are almost always broken. Manager is rude, abrasive, unprofessional, and not very helpful. Apartments, gym, and pool area are nice.

Vehicle was stolen from the garage and the manager ‘accidentally’ lost all the security footage from the one week that it had disappeared, and offered zero help or assistance. We had theorized that the people they had working on construction in the garage had scouted out the vehicle and gained access overnight to steal it — but the second we mentioned that he stopped ‘helping’ us at all. He was very confrontational and shady when any problems occurred. It still angers me to this day how frustrating and ridiculous the situation got.

I’ve seen several apartment complexes South of Wilshire here in Westwood, and The Mission has always been the best of the best. I, myself, haven’t lived here — but I have a lot of friends who have. Michelle N. and Richard D., for instance. They love this place! The manager is nice and pretty much doesn’t care too much about anything that happens in your own apartment. A few friends moved within the complex because their old roommates pretty much wrecked the old place after a year; the manager just let them and put the deposit towards their following month’s rent. You get two parking spots per apartment, pretty new appliances, new carpet, and a washing machine(= free laundry!). The pool is pretty nice too. The location is good whether or not you’re a student; South of Wilshire is just out of range of most of the party-going students and close to Westwood blvd — the gateway to everything on this side of the 405. If you’re a student, you get to take the Wilshire Center Express shuttle. Yes, it might be one of the most expensive, but that’s because you get a lot with it compared to the others. It really IS nice. The stairs walking down are pretty interesting. I used to kinda date a girl who lived here. Whenever I picked her up as she was walking down the stairs, and my friend said«you look like a freaking princess.» Heh.

This place has a really nice feel and seems pretty new. There are areas with nice landscaping that make me feel like I’m in a garden or some Shakespeare novel. It’s located right next to Westwood Blvd, which has a bunch of eateries and shops. Wilshire is just two blocks to the north and you can hop on a bus/shuttle to get to the UCLA campus.
