Tonya is truly a brow artist. Let me repeat that — a brow ARTIST! She is undoubtabley gifted when it comes to her craft and there’s no one else I trust considering I’m very fussy when it comes to my brows. What makes her even more amazing is her down-​to-​earth personality. She’s so much fun and super sweet!!! Her staff rock also, which is a reflection of Tonya’s awesomeness!
Honestly, my brows would die without Tonya Crooks. She knows what she’s doing and knows how to shape your brows to compliment your eyes and facial features. People compliment my brows non-​stop after a sesh with TC. She’s very professional and her expertise are worth the price. No makeup in the world can hide horrible brows and I refuse to settle for less!

I went in with caterpillars and came out with gorgeous brows! Honestly Tonya is a a dream. She’s incredibly personable and makes you feel relaxed and right at home as she works her magic. Also the wax she uses is great for super sensitive skin like mine. I absolutely love my new brows, thank you Tonya!

Tonya is absolutely the best!!! I’ve tried other places and no one else gets my shape as perfect as Tonya. It’s like plastic surgery every time! She really shapes my brows perfectly for my facial features. Now that I live even farther away (inland Orange County), I still make the drive to see her because I won’t trust anyone else with my eyebrows!

You know you have a fab eyebrow artist when a day before your appointment someone tells you how beautiful your eyebrows look. That’s when they are wayy overgrown cause I push it as long as I can… Because Tonya is the best and the best is never cheap. But I don’t mind, she deserves it, I swear my face looks thinner with good eyebrows? She tailors it to your face movements whereas a lot of the «top» places in LA use a cookie cutter stencil for everyone who walks in and they charge just as much.
Before Tonya I had never gotten my eyebrows done so I was so worried someone would mess them up (cause my blind plucking was soooo good…). I have curly hair so they have been more of a process but every time I go they look even better. And she’s a wonderful person who really cares about her clients and builds relationships. I highly doubt I’ll ever go to someone else.
So thank you Megan Fox, your perfect eyebrows led me to Tonya.

Tonya is the BEST of the BEST. I am fairly certain most everyone that will read this review has experienced an awful brow appointment. With that being said I was one of many who was left for the last TWO years wax free due to getting my eyebrows waxed off. If you asked me a month ago, I would have rather gone to the dentist than have someone touch my eyebrows. I was at lunch with some friends and they told me they could no longer look at my unruly brows. After fighting my case and loosing I was referred to the brow goddess, Tonya. BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. She is honestly amazing and has made my brows look Vogue worthy. I will now keep up to date with my wax appointments. Thank you!

Tonya is the best… and I have tried others! I went to several people in LA before I discovered Tonya and once she did my brows, there was no more searching. I don’t live in LA any longer and I have not been able to find anyone with Tonya’s unique combination of kindness, caring, style and skill.

I have thick Italian eyebrows and have tried stylists in NYC, LA, Chicago, Italy and Tonya is by far the best I ever encountered. I now live in Saint Louis and I make a point in seeing Tonya every time I visit LA. I am really happy she is branching out now and training stylists all over the country.

Sixteen years ago, I had become fascinated by how some celebrities had these amazing eyebrows! I knew there had to be someone out there that helped achieved the look — and I found Tonya. And never looked back. My eyebrows now always look amazing — and I got complimented all the time. I have introduced several people to her. She is quick, professional and always makes sure that I look my absolute best when I walk about the door.

Tonya is amazing for brows she has been doing mine for 9 years now. I moved oversees a few years ago and actually wait to see her as she never takes too many hairs and my eyebrows done perfectly. In my opinion the is the best in LA and I have tried them all.

Tonya is the BEST! After years of struggling with terrible brows a girlfriend gave me her number and I have been loyal ever since. Tonya knows how to shape your brows perfectly to compliment your face and is a master at filling in non-​existent brows like mine. Definitely worth every penny!

Guys I get my brows done by Tonya Crooks Ricci at @thebrowgal and she is the best! She literally has completely changed my face shape with the changing of my brows it looks so much better and she’s also like the coolest person so go to her! And she’s an Allure best of winner which says pretty much everything you need to know about her talent! I have been to all of the best brow salons and brow artists in Los Angeles as I am a performing artist and my image is very important to what I do for a living, and Tonya in my opinion is by far the best, does the quickest nicest job, and she’s also an awesome person… Go to her you will not be disappointed trust me!

Tonya is pretty damn amazing. I have to say I’m blessed with great eyebrows and are easily shaped. But as always, then get inconsistent after a while and it’s takes a good 3+ months to get them back to that perfect shape.
Not with Tonya, they are always beyond perfect and she always reminds me how to fill them, I always start to slack at that.
I was threading for a while, but my hairs starting to grow straight out and she helped get those babies to lay back down. In all the brow gal is the best for me and I think you’ll love her too.

My girlfriends and I have been looking for a great brow place for months. We heard about Tonya, grew our brows out, and she shaped them PERFECTLY to each of our individual faces.
Tonya and her staff were extremely professional, clean, precise, and friendly.
Bryan and Shayan were so fun and made us all laugh the entire time!
We really appreciated the fact that she has an artistic background, she sculpted the brows to every individual.
Don’t go anywhere else except to the brow gal!
If you think about it Tonya is completely worth the money because you will most likely be getting them done a lot less than your average crappy brow salon, and you will be A LOT happier with the results.

T crooks is the only person I will ever trust with my eyebrows. She is always professional, I’m always satisfied with my results. If you are curious& want to come in just try it. It can not hurt. Do your face a favor. Treat yourself right.

Tonya is the best brow artist in California! She completely reshaped my once disheveled, unshaped eyebrows into gorgeous eyebrows with the PERFECT arch. Coming from an artist background, she understands balance and shaping brows to enhance each person’s individual face. Many eyebrow stylists will simply use a stencil or give the same basic arch to every client. Tonya is different and will study your features to sculpt the best brows for each person. It is no wonder so many celebrities come to her and trust her. She’s simply fabulous!
Tonya loves what she does and it comes through in her work. She is very passionate about brows and truly wants each client to love the way they look. She is always extremely welcoming and very willing to listen. She has some great stories that make me laugh every time I come in.
She also has an awesome assistant, Shayan, who makes scheduling appointments extremely simple. Clients can either book online (which is very convenient) or call The Brow Gal and book through Shayan.
The Brow Gal is located adjacent to Beverly Hills in a very cute shop. Parking is very easy, as there are many metered spots on the streets. I love the vibe of the shop, as it feels very peaceful and always smells amazing!
All in all, I give The Brow Gal 5 stars. I wouldn’t trust anybody but Tonya with my brows and highly recommend her to everyone else.

I was contacted by Tonya and given a refund for one of my visits. She gets points for being fair and trying to improve customer service.

I really wish I can give Tonya a higher rating but I guess time will tell.
I was a regular customer here, about a year and a half ago I stopped coming. Every single rating is correct, she is amazing. You will be wowed by the first time you walk out of this place. Especially because you won’t recognize yourself with the huge brow difference. All my friends said i was crazy for paying 50 $ at the time and to me I didn’t care along as my brows were great. I was so nervous the first time but she really did do a great job. I was sold by the outstanding work and I really liked her at the time I mean excellent customer service, she chatted me up and told me all about her, her son, etc and even asked if I broke out after waxing (sadly hell yes i do) so she zapped me with this big hand gun it seemed like and told me it kills all the bacteria and will prevent my breaking out. I was so happy when I walked out and yup I defenitley did not break out.
Back then she did not have an assistant or at least she was the one to do my brows, check me out, and was the one to always answer the phone. She obviously became popular.
Well here’s what ruined it for me; the 2^nd time was ok the 3^rd time and after she did have an attitude. Obviously not rude but you can tell the difference (maybe she was just having a nice day my first time) I was never offered the anti breakout thing again (so yes i broke out horribly every single time after that) and I didn’t want to ask because it was no big deal I just hated the inconsistency.
Anyway the very last time I was there I drove from redondo beach while at a family party because I did not want to cancel and the whole time while doing my brows she kept turning to talk to her assistant and kept answering the phone and stopping. I was FURIOUS but as always I didn’t want to say anything because to me at the time she was jesus. Hey aslong as i walk out there with fantastic eyebrows whatever it’ll make up for you ignoring me but then I came to realize hello I am paying you 50 $+ tip for 15 minutes. Anyway the worst part was I walked out of there so upset about her unprofessionalism but still I just trusted her I didn’t bother looking at her mirror BUT THEN I get to my car and holy shit did my eyebrows look like CRAP the right one was completely down and the left was OKAY shaped I was so pissed off I vowed to never ever return.
Not once have I doubted her amazing talent for eyebrow shaping, It’s the customer service and the inconsistency. I wish every time I went was like the first. I’m only leaving this review in the hopes that you take this into consideration and treat everyone the same every time. Please don’t forget we’re all paying customers who come to you to shape the most important part of our face (you told me that once)
Sadly I am in desperate need of your services and I will be coming back soon so fingers crossed that I walk out happy.

Tonya is the BEST In the business. She is an eyebrow Transformer! She perfectly shapes your brows to the structure of your face which is why I only trust her with my brows. Its not about the quantity its all about the Quality! She takes pride in her work & it shows. Plus, she is so sweet & down to earth she’s the total package.
.. . And last, but not least I love her Brow line !!! It’s absolutely the most well thought out brow line out there!!! Each item is perfect and is a must have in my makeup kit!!!

Tonya is awesome and and she does wonderful work. Sometimes it does take a couple times to have perfect brows, they aren’t just going to be perfect the first time. It takes work, Tonya is an eyebrow designer, she can’t fix a wack job in one sitting! I go once a month, been seeing Tonya for a year and a half, and my brows are perfect, worth every penny! Anyone who puts a bad review on here is clueless about looks and class because Tonya has all of that and she knows her stuff! Shout out to her wonderful staff as well! For the price I paid for my eyebrows to be done…“meh” was probably the word to describe my experience. I grew out my eyebrows so that I could have a pretty open canvas to really get the brows I wanted. I definitely had enough hair on my brows to create those bigger, shapely arches I was looking for. Yet instead, Tonya sort of gave me half an eyebrow tweezing/​shaping, and said I had to come back in two weeks/​a month to finish them so they could grow more. Which seemed kinda crazy to me. That’s what I already had done. I don’t know, maybe people who have the money to spend on this stuff every two weeks are down with this type of shaping/​plucking, but I’m not sure it’s my style. I’ll just have to find another place.
