Susan Rusnack was my doctor and she literally
life! I was having pelvic floor pain, and she was the first doctor I saw in a long string of doctors that really cared about my wellbeing. She was so caring and thoughtful, she made sure to listen to me thoroughly and run all necessary tests to diagnose me. She recommendrd an incredible practice to see (The Pelvic Rehabilitation Center, high recommended!) and gave me a list of resources dealing with my pain. She provided amazing care and her reassuring energy gave me strength to know I could deal with my problems head on. One of the best doctors I’ve ever had, truly change my life forever!

I want to update my review. Dr Mee is fabulous. There was a mix up with scheduling but her secretary called and got me in yesterday. And after having been to urgent care 2x, and another urologist 3x and the ER. Dr Mee found the problem– these other doctors sadly kept passing off my symptoms and ignoring the facts. I’m so thankful I got to see Dr Mee. I knew she could and would help. And she even called today to see how I was

This was literally one of the best doctor experiences of my life. I was worried to go here b/​c of some negative reviews, but they were about the reception, and not about the doctors, so I gave it a try– especially after googling 3 of the doctors at Tower Urology and finding that they all received 4.5 to 5 stars on medical websties.
First– receptionists– super sweet. Whatever issue they had before has likely been resolved.
Second– the doctor (Dr. Cinman)– extremely knowledgeable. Took the time to listen to me and my issues. Gave me intelligent recommendations.
Last– and this is the best part– how quick/​smoothly everything went. My doctor was on time, to start off (yeay!) and then it turned out I needed an ultrasound. This is usually a multi-​day process where you get a prescription, get the ultrasound several days later somewhere else, and wait days for your results. Not here! They took me right into the next room next to give me an ultrasound. I waited 60 seconds and the technician gave me the ultrasound. Waited 3 minutes and the doctor came in and went over my results with me. AMAZING! This office has it all. How lovely not to have to wait several hours/​several days and go to multiple locations.
Oh– also worth mentioning is insurance. Some people wrote about negative experiences on that end. They are an out of network provider for me, but did not make me pay upfront. They said they’d bill my insurance and then send me a bill for the rest. Then, without me asking, I was given the billing specialist’s card. He said if the bill for the remainder that was not covered was high, to give him a call and he’d offer me a reduction in my payment. FABULOUS!
Highly highly recommend this place.

Like others who’ve reviewed Tower Urology, my experience of Dr. Ng is overall good, however his practice as a whole is abysmal. First, the billing practices of this medical group border on thievery. The only insurance they apparently accept is Aetna, everyone else is fee for services and the charges are through the roof! I had a routine prostate exam, and a quick ultrasound of my bladder and the bill was over $ 700 (discounted to around $ 500). Also I waited nearly an hour to be seen and then my appointment lasted 10 – 15 minutes. Dr. Ng. was fine. However, when it came time to leave, I was stopped by Joe Einhorn, the billing guy, who insisted on payment then and there. I did’t have my checkbook or credit card with me and this man totally lambasted me for not having these things. He was loud, accusatory and humiliated me in front of his staff and those patients in the waiting room who no doubt heard. He insinuated that I was deadbeat who would not pay. I assured him I would but he only scoffed and walked away. Going to the doctor should never be a humiliating experience, but it was for me at Tower Urology. Also, beware as Cedars Sinai’s website lists the docs at Tower as Ceders doctors. In fact, my primary doc at Cedars referred me to Tower! Tower is NOT Cedars Sinai and when pressed, they tell you, «we are affiliated with Ceders Sinai, but are not a part of their network.» Both Cedars and Tower need to be more upfront and transparent about who is affiliated and who is a member of Cedars Sinai. My opinion and my advice is to find another Urology clinic/​doctor. I won’t go back.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Leach at Tower Urology for the past 14 months so, I believe, I’ve developed enough information relative to the operation of what I believe to be a most exemplary medical facility to comment with confidence. Dr. Leach has done a yeomen’s job in treating my bladder cancer. Having been a medical malpractice reinsurance specialist for over 30 years I can pretty much tell a well run and competent operation from a bad one. This is one of the best run medical practices I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. I do not understand the extremely negative comments made about the staff by some of the other contributors to this website. One of the Tower staff, Manny, is from the Philippines and has worked at Tower for more than 25 years. The other individuals in a service capacity at Tower that I’ve encountered have always been more than helpful, extremely professional and a real joy (taking into consider the circumstances) to work with. At this point in my treatments the vast majority I would call my friends! Kudos to all and keep up the great work under the most trying conditions.

I came into Tower Urology for a urinary tract infection after having seen so many doctors who couldn’t find out what was wrong nor diagnose me with a problem. I was referred to Tower Urology after hearing so many positive things about the doctors and staff. I saw Dr. Josephson and within a couple of minutes, he was able to diagnose me and give me the right medication to treat the pain I was enduring.
The staff at Tower was wonderful, professional and so caring. I did not have to wait long, like at many other doctor’s offices. I had a great experience with Dr. Josephson. The nurse was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable and the CEO was even attentive to her patients and staff!

I come here for my annual check-​up and am completely satisfied with the care I receive. It is important to me that there is a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere, and that I am never waiting long. My doctor spends time answering my questions and addressing any concerns I have, which I greatly appreciate.

I agree with the other bad review of the staff. In particular they employ a lot of foreign non-​English speaking nurses. I was given an antibiotic shot by one of the inexperienced nurse that traumatized my piriformis muscle. When I brought it to the attention of Dr. Bui, he expressed little remorse and denied any responsibility — as a result, my sciatica nerve has been inflamed for over two years since the incident and I have had to see a number of specialists to try to correct the injury caused by Dr. Bui’s poor staff. When I made a claim against Tower, it was denied by them as they said that I assumed the risk of getting a hypodermic needle. The doctors here are arrogant and their attitude permeates the staff. Please look elsewhere for better and less expensive care.

If you want overpriced conveyor belt sausage factory type treatment, go for it. The doctor was decent enough, but the support staff is NASTY! The girls at the front a super nasty little B’s. They will giggle in your ear and talk to each other while you, the patient, who’s about to drop a huge sum of money is waiting on the line to talk to them. When I was done with my exam the girl who was taking the payment, I think her name is Joie, gave me an amount to pay that was over $ 250 more than what I was given on the phone from billing. Luckily I had the breakdown on a piece of paper with me so I could tell her these are not the costs I was given. she called over the billing dude who verified my claim. Then she just turned around to the credit card swiper machine without batting an eyelash or blurting out a «Sorry». When I said «Heck, that’s a big difference, $ 250! you guys just… don’t even care, do you?» She just turned around a looked at me, again expressionless. Thanks Tower Urology for the respectful treatment and trying to scam me. Do you think I will return?
