Came for the afternoon tea on a Sunday around 4pm and it was surprisingly pretty empty. Only around 5 tables were filled — including ours. Didn’t even need to make a reservation but I did anyways. Note to management — please make a new reservation system. I called to make a res and they emailed me the credit card authorization form and asked for me to fax it back so they could approve my res. A lot of people don’t have a convenient access to a fax machine. I emailed them back asking if I could email the form and got no reply. Ended up downloading a faxing app(paid $ 3) and faxed it and called the next day to see if they had received it. When I called, they said the manager I faxed it to was currently at the pool and asked if I could just email it to another manager for the quickest finalization of my res. There was a lot of lack of communication just to make a reservation that I found out later — I didn’t really even need(as it was pretty empty during the time I went). So, note to management — please consider changing the reservation process and perhaps just using an online submission form for credit authorization! Will save both sides a lot of trouble! Moving on to the actual food and tea! For teas — we ordered the Imperial Earl Grey, Nobo Whole Fruit, and Genmaicha Green Tea and split amongst 3 people. Came in the cutest tea pots for their Alice in wonderland promotion collab. Surprisingly, the fruity blend ended up being my personal favorite as it complimented the sweets very well with its strong aroma, sweet flavor, and slight tang. GREAT palate cleanse in between each of the little bites. Earl grey blend was also great — not bitter and honestly the best I’ve ever had! Definitely recommend this. Green tea wasn’t bad but wasn’t incredible. Little dull tasting but coming from a culture where green tea is a staple — certainly wasn’t terrible. For the food — WOW was this an experience. I’m one who loves finger foods and little bites and for the price of 35pp I found this very worth the culinary experience. Cucumber goat cheese — 1⁄5 — flavors didn’t really match and was just strange. Caviar steamed bun — 5⁄5 — good combination of flavors from the salty caviar and bland bun. Wish the bun was a little warmer though. Quiche — 5⁄5 — soft inside paired so well with crust. Loved it. Salmon brioche sandwich — 5⁄5 — was great combination, again. Loved the salmon and the bread. Guac cone — 5⁄5WOW loved this. Big guac fan — what more can I say. Soft spice cookie — 3⁄5 — wasn’t bad, liked the chewy texture but was pretty standard. Lemon Bön Bön — 2⁄5 — couldn’t taste the lemon at all. I’m a big lemon pastry fan so this was a little disappointing. Matcha financier — 2⁄5 — not a strong matcha flavor and sesame didn’t pair well. Rice crispy Bön Bön– 5⁄5 — very soft, flaky, and strong flavors. Macaron — 5⁄5 — very sweet, chewy, liked the texture. Raspberry pipette — 3⁄5 — interesting concept, could have been executed better. I didn’t hate it but my friends weren’t a fan. Cream puff — 5⁄5 — puff was crispy, cream was good, strawberry was fresh. Red queens bonbons — 5⁄5 — interesting flavors! Some of them had alcohol infusions — leave it to you to find which ones. Décor was so cute inside. Originally were at the couch but wanted to move to a high table with white countertop for better lighting. They were surprised as most people usually prefer the other way around but were highly accommodating. Overall — great time with a great staff. Food is definitely for the taste but also such an experience! I didn’t want the typical high tea experience and this was exactly what I wanted. Would definitely come back to try their brunch as I’ve heard great things about that. Had to dock a star for the reservation complications and also for the fact that valet parking was $ 15 for two hours ?? Tried to find cheaper parking elsewhere but had no luck on a Sunday afternoon. Plan ahead and accordingly if you want to avoid this fee!

I love love love this place. The food was not only beautiful to look at but very tasty as well. They definitely refill the stations frequently and the selections are not over bearing for a buffet. Their selections are top notch and they display such love and detail to their presentation and service is excellent.

Super fancy brunch(our friends took my wife and I as a thank you for a favor, which was totally excessive). We’re not huge brunch people; or, specifically, I am a fan of buffets, but my stomach just isn’t ready for a lot of food that early in the day(ideal buffet time is around 3pm when you can eat all you can and you’re good for the rest of the day). Small plates, mostly, and a lack of good egg dishes(I think there were only boiled quail eggs?) but the roast beef was delicious and fatty, and there was a large, varied spread of sweets and pastries. Plenty of different fruit juices that you can garnish with berries, as well as cocktail shrimp, oysters, and crab claws. At 45 dollars, it’s a little too fancy for my wife and I under normal circumstances(we still like our 10 dollar AYCE Kbbq), but if you can swing it, it’s hard to be disappointed.

Came in on Sunday around 2pm and it was pretty packed. Luckily they had higher table seating so my boyfriend and I just sat there. The interior is so beautiful and the ambiance is impeccable. Perfect brunch/date spot. I ordered the smoked salmon eggs benedict while my boyfriend got the jidouri rotisserie chicken. We also got the Fattoush salad with smoked salmon to share. The food overall was SO delicious not to mention the presentation. We also ordered a mimosa and bloody mary. I told the waitress that my bloody mary tasted very watered down but instead of just agreeing to remake it, all she did was talk back. STRIKEONE. For a high quality restaurant, if a customer believes that his/her food is not how it should be, they should immediately send it back for a new one and not stand there and try to defend herself. Regardless of the bartender’s problem, everything was so delicious and I can’t wait to come back!

Came here for brunch with mom and we left totally satisfied. The food was beautifully laid out, and tasted yummy. Their brunch(not sure if it is only for Sunday) is not huge like some others but everything was of good qualify and you can tell that lots of detail went into their preparation. Our server was attentive and friendly. If we did not live on the other side of LA, we will definitely come back more frequently. :)

I have to say that I was not happy with the service there. Our waitress was not very attentive which surprised me in such a decent restaurant. The food was amazing. We went for brunch. I was amazed by the way the deal with food. The best egg yolk ever!(We ordered sunny side-up egg and egg Benedict). It was so perfectly cooked that when you split the yolk, it didn’t spread out just like pudding. Heads off to the chef! I m not sure whether I will come back just for the food…

I haven’t reviewed it a long time since I don’t feel motivated to do so but today I had Tres for AYCE brunch and now I wanted to write a review. This just proves that Jose Andres’ restaurant never fails you in anyway possible and this was one prime example of ti all. I’ll say that yes it is expensive(a whopping $ 42 dollars) to eat here and yes they do have a «small selection» as for an AYCE. However, in a buffet, it’s not like you get everything anyway because not everything is great. So Tres does it well by having quality over quantity in that this«small selection» all happens to be supreme. One big table for your prime rib, smoke salmon, bread variety, jamon serrano and other type of cold slice meat, three types of cheeses, and all your sauces(Caviar + Salmon Roe all on that table for you to have unlimited amount). This one big table’s choices are all tasty and great. I got their small little cute brioche bread, slice it in half, put the slice cheese, TOMATOSAUCE(DON’T EVERNOTGETTHETOMATOSAUCE) and it works so well with the serrano ham, I went to get their prime rib 3 times… I wanted to get more but I was dying a bit from all the food. I went to get their smoke salmon(WHICH they slice for you every time including the prime rib but a lot of places slice prime ribs for you so the smoke salmon part is a bit more special). Another table includes the selection of salad(which is something I actually didn’t enjoy unfortunately), the crab«claws», shrimp, and oysters. I usually never get crab in an AYCE place but their crab«claws» are so fresh that I got like 5 – 6 pieces because it was just so good. Their oysters were fresh as hell(and I don’t even like oysters) They also have a long plate of anchovies(but they were aite) The next table includes the juices(pineapple, watermelon, honeydew, melon?) and all of them were fresh and you can tell it wasn’t artificial. It also has a crazy selection of fruits which I didn’t actually try because I was just trying to eat everything else). Also have the amazing greek yogurt. The greek yogurt is something I would rave about for a long time and I don’t think I ever had a yogurt I love so much until this moment in my life. I was so full… but I end up getting like 4 cups of yogurt because it was that good. Dessert table, a pretty wide variety of desserts which I won’t go through one by one but I really would recommend the Flan in an «egg shell.» Its literally what it is lol. Soooo good. The other one that I also like which I was already done but still had to try were the croissant which I thought was great. Crunchy, fresh, a little filling inside. It works so well. In this brunch, you may order an entrée that cost +$ 10 to the $ 42 in which I’m lucky I didnt order because I would have been done a long time ago if I had. However, my mom happened to get the omelette. It was definitely one of the best omelette I’ve had. It was fluffy from the getgo when you saw it brought out. Idk if its worth the $ 10 but it was definitely delicious. With everything said, I was super satisfied and I would recommend this place to anybody for a special occasion but I think they only have this for weekend brunch. Bruh… just go and try it. You’ll be blown away, at least I definitely did.

This lesser known restaurant is also located at the SLS hotel, next to The Bazaar. There are a variety of tables throughout, both traditional and off-beat. We were seated in front of one of several fireplaces that has a lower table and living room chairs/sofas rather than dining chairs. It was a very comfortable and cozy place to sit. APPETIZERS: WATERMELONANDTOMATOSKEWERS $ 14 — very fresh with the micro basil to top it off, but not worth the price CROQUETASDEPOLLO $ 12 Chicken and béchamel fritters. Crispy on the outside and too gooey on the inside. This is also offered at Bazaar. I’ve now had it a few times and I’m over it. SEAREDSEASCALLOPS $ 18 3 perfectly cooked scallops, cut in half, and served with a lushious potato cream sauce, white asparagus, and bacon ENTREES: SEAREDBRANZINO $ 32 Cripsy skin served with a nice fennel purée, wild mushrooms, endive, and citrus vinaigrette HOMEMADEPAPPARDELLEPASTA $ 30 Egg, 63 degrees, topped with parmesan foam, serrano hay, truffle. The pasta was overdone and not al dente. The egg yolk was slightly hard and overdone. Flavors were a bit muddled and bland. DESSERT: COCOROUGE $ 12 Rich, milk chocolate mousse topped with raspberry and coconut streusel. The streusel added a nice, crunchy texture. Good, but not great food. Service is very friendly but not the most efficient. parking — valet, metered, or limited free street parking

Tres seems like a hit or miss but it seems like I lucked out and came on a good night. We made reservations for dineLA for weekend dinner but it was definitely not necessary. Upon walking in, the restaurant was 70% empty and admittedly had me feeling uneasy. The Last Cocktail — Extremely smooth gin mixed with a pear purée and topped with rosemary. I could barely taste the gin but boy does it sneak up on you! A really great cocktail if you’re looking for something fruity to sip on. 1st course – Grilled Asparagus: Cooked at a perfectly soft texture. The romesco sauce and infamous egg 63° were a great complement as it added a sweet flavor and soft, gooey texture. However, the better appetizer was hands down the croquetas. Croquetas De Pollo: These delectable fritters were what heaven must feel like. Crisp on the outside with a soft, chewy inside filled with chicken so tender it’s like they’re not even in there. I can’t even begin to describe the feels as I was enjoying each bite. 2nd Course – Homemade Pappardelle Pasta: Sweet pappardelle with truffle bits topped with parmesan foam and the egg 63°. Ultra light yet so rich at the same time. I am not fond of cheese but the parmesan foam was a really nice touch. Colorado Lamb Loin: Pistachio-crusted lamb loin atop spinach and a celery root purée. The purée tasted more like a risotto with a heavy garlic flavor coming through. The lamb was a bit tough so the black garlic jus was definitely a big help. 3rd Course – Traditional Spanish Flan: A dessert so simple yet so decadent. I wanted to pick up the entire thing and smash it into my mouth but I had to put myself into place and allow myself to savor each bite. The flan was adorned with catalan cream and and a slice of orange. What a great combination of flavors! Our waiter was extremely friendly and did not get the hoity-toity attitude others have previously described. He checked on us frequently but not so much to where we thought he was being intrusive. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, as if you were eating inside someone’s home. Overall a great dining experience! The valet charge, not so much.

3.5 stars. This is my 2nd time staying at the SLS and having their morning breakfast. Tres is one of the three restaurants at the SLS Beverly Hills. The review with the hypes and gripes is based on my breakfast experience here. Hypes: — the quality of food is good. High end chacuterie, frommage, — beautiful display of the buffet — the muffins are definitely good — grab some pickled apricots — star anise, cinnamon, its a mini explosion in your mouth — unliimited coffee and tea included — great place for a chill meeting, relaxing breakfast — by the fireplace on a couch. Love the ambiance — Staff was extremely attentive and friendly Gripes: — For the price you pay, its basically a fancy continental breakfast. Some eggs, salmon, or something warm would be nice.

GiltCity Review A friend bought me a GiltCity coupon for my birthday, so I used it for Valentine’s day with my fiancé.(It’s called smart, not cheap). Keep in mind if you get the GiltCity, there is a separate tasting menu that’s pretty much all inclusive(except taxes, gratuity, and other items you may order). Watermelon and Tomato Skewer Sounds pretty simple and plain, but it actually works. I don’t even like tomatoes, but I enjoyed it. There’s some kind of sauce that goes with it that I can’t put my finger on, but a nice refreshing dish to get things started. Croquetas de Pollo Fried on the outside, a little mushy on the inside. I liked this but probably wouldn’t order it by itself next time. B Side Cabernet We went with the bottle, and the cab was really good. Nice bold flavors as cabs usually have. Seared Branzino The Branzino is light and the mushrooms add texture to the dish. I liked the crispy skin. Overall good dish. ***Braised Beef Short Rib*** The best dish of the night. The beef was tender and goes awesome with the garnish. Highly recommended Service was excellent. We ended up tipping over 20%. Don’t forget to validate your parking. It ended up being around $ 14 for the valet after it was validated.

Tres is one of the three restaurants in the SLS Hotel along with Bazaar and SAAM. So far, 2⁄3 haven’t truly impressed my tastebuds so I’m not sure if I want to try Bazaar at all… So you roll in, valet your car for $ 14…or $ 24 since we stayed 3 hours total. Crazy. I know. Tres is more like a trendy-casual, lounge-like environment. Our party of 8 were offered their private room(usually minimum cost is $ 1000) because we had a kid and most of the barstools were unsafe. Some of our party ordered off the DineLA menu while others ordered from the regular menu. Price difference wouldn’t have made too big of a difference. We ate: –Grilled Asparagus with micro thyme sauce and an egg cooked to 63 degrees(lol half cooked egg much?) asparagus is asparagus… nothing special. –Croquetas De Pollo… crispy pill shaped croquettes with a smooth creamy filling. Tasty, but not my style. –Colorado Lamb Loin with garlic jus and just a hint of that«lamb» lamb taste but it was soft and juicy. –Traditional Spanish Flan… lol flans flan. Can’t change up the taste too much. The crème on the side was oh so delightful with a hint of lemony zest? –Coco Rouge with milk chocolate mousse, raspberry, and coconut streusel. Came in a glass cup and reminded me of tiramisu with bits of cookie crumbs. Tasty, but got boring real quick. Overall, the food was mediocre. Meant more for casual gatherings IMO. Now onto the SERVICE. WTH guys… water wasn’t refilled and when it finally was towards the end of dinner, they skipped mine! People didn’t seem HAPPY to work there, we were probably checked on once during our meal. NoBody ever explained what the dishes were. When it came time for the check, we thought they forgot about us! I know we are in a private room and you can’t see us well, but holy crap… SAAM next door is like the complete opposite on service. If the food was good I’d suck it up and move on but two negatives… nuh uh.

Both Bazaar and Tres share the same SLS hotel plaza and valet parking is $ 14 with 2-hour validation after 3PM($ 8 with 2-hour validation from 6AM to 3PM). However, I left here at 8PM and for some mysterious reason I was only charged $ 8 instead. Tres is a very trendy and upscale restaurant and overall service was generally good … except that I had to wait 20+ minutes to request for a check because our waiter was nowhere in sight. I don’t even know why I made the reservation ahead of time because the restaurant was fairly empty when I was literally show up 30 minutes late due to the unforeseen LA traffic jam. *** DineLA Dinner Menu [$ 49 per person + tax + gratuity + one complimentary glass of cava(champagne-like sparkling wine from Spain)] *** [1st Course] Croquetas de Pollo(chicken and béchamel fritters): You can also find this same item at the Bazaar. This was probably the best course of the night — right crispiness with creamy filling.(4.5÷5) [2nd Course] Colorado Lamb Loin(pistachio crust, celery root purée, catalan spinach, black garlic jus): I was slightly disappointed with the lamb meat quality — not very tender and juicy. Garlic jus tasted a little bit like hoisin sauce and spinach was pretty delicious, but I had to mask the mediocre lamb flavor with celery root purée & garlic jus.(3.5÷5) [3rd Course] Coco Rouge(milk chocolate mousse, raspberry, coconut streusel): Not a very memorable dessert because the sourness from raspberry didn’t blend well with chocolate mousse, but it wasn’t a horrible dessert either.(3.5÷5) Hopefully the waiter will tell you about one free glass of cava that comes with the DineLA dinner menu. If not, ask the waiter about it. My friend had a glass of cava and he kept saying it was so good that he was thinking about stealing another glass from me, but apparently one glass of cava was strong enough to make him feel tipsy and I decided not to get a second round on behalf of him. ** Personally I still like Bazaar much better than Tres, but I don’t think food were terrible at Tres … just not worth the $ 55 price tag(not including gratuity) because I think you can find a better DineLA deal in Los Angeles(e.g. Lawry’s The Prime Rib, Fogo de Chão, etc).

The manager went above and beyond to make our Sunday brunch a great dining experience. I had a Gilt City deal for dinner but mistakenly thought it was for any time of day. When we sat down, I realized my mistake and wanted to see what we could do because I didn’t want to have to come back. He gave us a few options and we decided to have one Gilt City lunch menu(with two glasses of champagne!) and one buffet. The Gilt City menu is a solid option. It’s a shared appetizer(various dips and pita chips), entrée(I got the jamon sandwich), and dessert. It was super filling and I was a happy camper. The AYCE buffet is a whole other story. The BF was very excited to get this. The buffet is both quality and quantity, with an emphasis on the former. I was blown away by the quality of the buffet: prime rib, crab claws, jamon serrano and other meats, Spanish cheeses, bread, dessert table, fresh juices, and the like. It’s all plated really delicately and just a little bit of each but I’d much rather have quality than quantity. It’s really one of the best buffets IMO. Again, I was impressed with the service and the restaurant’s willingness to go out of its way to accommodate a diner. It’s this kind of service that people remember! We’ll definitely be back.

This review is for their special CHRISTMASDAYBRUNCH($ 65/adults and $ 45/kids). This buffet was arguably the best I’ve ever enjoyed and here’s why: quality over quantity. I know… ironic, considering it’s a buffet. Tres is located at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills. There’s a red carpet leading up to the entrance. While you’re waiting to get seated you can lounge in the open-air patio. Seating inside consists of private and communal tables, plus special fireside couches. This is where we were led to. A couch in front of a fireplace with a coffee table and chairs. It felt like we were dining at someone’s fancy home. The buffet stations and displays were immaculate and constantly tended to. The selection wasn’t extensive per se, but I think it was well-curated(sorry folks who hate that word) and again, the quality of the food was unbelievable. I avoided breakfast pastries because that takes up too much precious stomach space and instead partook in items such as: * ROASTEDNEWYORKSTRIPANDPORCHETTA(freshly carved) * WINTERVEGETABLEMEDLEY * CHEDDARCORNGRITS, GREENCHILEHASH, EGG * ROASTEDKABOCHASQUASH * CHILLEDPACIFICPRAWNSANDSNOWCRABCLAWS(these were prepared so well!) * RAWOYSTERS * OCTOPUSCEVICHE * CAVIAR * CHEESEANDCHARCUTERIE Coffee, fresh squeezed juice and assorted AGUASFRESCAS were also included. Alcoholic beverages are extra. There were a few more food items I didn’t try such as the smoked salmon, arugula salad and yogurt parfaits. The dessert display featured lots of bites and little cups. I selected a CHOCOLATEMOUSSE, my favorite type of dessert. We literally loved everything we ate! There’s an option to add an entrée from the menu for $ 10 more but what else did we need? The service was fantastic — thanks Suzette! We were there for two hours and no one rushed us at all. If this was someone’s home we would’ve happily stayed a few more hours.

This is officially my favorite restaurant lounge for intimate meals. I’ve been searching for a place in LA where I can have delicious food in a confined romantic space that’s shared by my date and me only. I am such a sucker for tufted couches, wood fireplaces, buck/deer head décor, and shelves of fancy books. I don’t intend to read while I’m there but I like knowing that there are books in the same place I have dinner. And you should too. Heh :) Tres and Bazaar both have such unique vibes without trying too hard. You feel classy, and there’s no pretentiousness in the air. I took my girlfriend out to a dinner one night, and it was obvious both of us were poor struggling rapscallions in our early twenties. We just wanted to have an adult dinner to celebrate Chanukah and Tres made us happy. Food-wise, we loved the braised short ribs and jidori chicken. The cava paired really well with the chocolate mousse. Valet parking is available and I believe it’s $ 14. However you can get lucky on certain nights and find street parking around the corner.

I had the pleasure of dining at Tres due to a Gilt City deal. 3 course meal for 2 for $ 65! Score!!! :) I’ve been to the SLS hotel in Beverly before for the The Bazaar but wasn’t too sure where Tres was until I was there and had to do some looking around. Tres is located right in the front of the hotel, right of The Bazaar. If all else fails ask one of the parking/valet attendants. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant the moment I walked up to the door. Right outside of the door is nicely decorated like the inside of the restaurant. There’s some nice high class feel to the place but also very comfy and homey. Our hostess took us to our reserved table which was in front of the fireplace on a couch. There’s a glass deer mantel on top with bookshelves to the side and also standing lamps. LOVEDIT! It gave off that warm cabin kinda feel and it was nice since it was cold that night in LA. And I loved the fact that my bf and I were able to sit next together and have a fancy dinner on a couch. Seriously the ambiance was near perfect! Also our waitress told us they can adjust the fireplace for us if it got too hot and that they could pull the curtains on the side and behind us if we wanted more privacy… Who thinks of these things… LOVEDIT! :) To get into the food… We started the night with a free glass of their cava which is Spanish champagne. Nice refreshing start. For appetizer we got the following that came with the Gilt Prix Fix menu: 1) Croquestas de Pollo(4⁄5) which are like fried potatoes w chicken. It was pretty good. Creamy and crispy on the outside. 2) Watermelon & Tomato Skewers(4⁄5) very refreshing compared with the croquestas. So it was a nice compliment to the other appetizer. My only complaint is that its was too little… LOL :) For Entrees, they had quite a few options which was nice, but we ended up getting the following: 1) Rotisserie Jidori Farm Chicken(4⁄5) very good chicken. Very moist and soft. And they are pretty generous with their portion. I was quite impressed. But I would have liked it to have more a flavor for it to be a 5… But overall very good and satisfied. 2) Braised Beef Short Rib(3⁄5) this dish was just ok. I thought the meat was a bit dry for braised short ribs. For dessert we shared their Coco Rouge(3⁄5) which is their chocolate mousse and I thought it was ok… Alittle overpowering with chocolate… I would have liked to have some different flavors… The service was impeccable from the hostess to our waitress. They were very prompt and friendly. Loved it! Overall my experience at Tres was amazing and the Gilt deal made it all so much memorable! I would definitely go back for another date night! Yay!!! PS. Valet was $ 12 at the hotel.

Lovely Escape on a Friday Date Night A few months ago, I purchased a «date night» dinner for Tres thru GiltCity. Saw it was expiring soon and made a reservation, the day of. Had NOIDEA what to expect. Location: In the Lobby of the SLS hotel; separated from The Bazaar. Its on busy La Cienega near Lawry’s, Stinking Rose, etc(thus, traffic on a friday night was thick). Parking: we valeted at hotel for $ 14. We stepped into an empty and quiet space and were immediately led to an intimate, comfortable couch & table in front of a fireplace. It was EXACTLY what we were looking for on this particular night. No crowds, quiet, chill music(heard a cool cover of Wicked Games), low lighting, warm fireplace and then the cocktails & food… Drinks: D.O.C.-Grey Goose La Poire, lemon, truffle honey & cava. Tart & Refreshing starter cocktail Glass of Buena Vista Pinot Noir-Very Good w/Entrée Cava-Very Dry and perfect w/dessert Starters: Watermelon & Tomato Skewers: I was hesitant about this item; however, the watermelon was sweet & juicy and I was pleasantly surprised of the combo w/Tomato, olive oil, sherry reduction & micro basil. Croquetas De Polla: Excellent. Chicken & bechamel fritters. These were lighter than expected considering the breading, but prepared perfect, melt in your mouth. Entrees: Homemade Pappardelle Pasta-egg 63, parmesan foam, serrano hay, truffle-Excellent. The egg pasta was perfect. I LOVED this dish. Even the peas, tasted fresh and provided a nice touch. Braised Beef Short Rib-cheddar grits, cipollini onions, veal jus. Excellent. I only got to try one bite, because hubby scraped his plate clean on this one. Braised short ribs were flavorful & tender and the cheddar grits was a nice pairing. Dessert: Coco Rouge-milk chocolate mousse, raspberry, coconut streusel. Very Good. A bit rich and too chocolatey for me, but I loved the coconut streusel on top. Finally, we had great service. Attentive, yet did not disturb us at all. Not sure if everyone would have the same kind of experience, but we had an Excellent Evening.

I came here with my friend on a Saturday afternoon around 3:30pm and I was surprised there were lots of people. My friend and I did the tea special where it was roughly $ 30 per person but you get a variety of things to eat along with your choice of tea. All in all, it is pricey but everything that you sample is awesome! I just wished there was more meaty samples. I do love all the desserts and my favorite was the chocolate pop rocks! Those were awesome! The service on the other hand was quite terrible. They were so slow! When it came time to pay the bill, we flagged our waitress down and she saw us but she seemed busy with something else. After waiting for awhile she came and took our credit card. I kid you not, it literally took like 20 mins for her to come back and get the card and another 20 minutes to give back the card. She should be glad that we had very late plans that night! Work on the customer service!
