Rotisserie chicken at its finest! Perfectly cooked, tender and delicious!!! Love, love this place!

Decent food but it’s way too expensive. I order here frequently because it’s around the block. Food is 4 star quality for takeout but everything is 20−30% more expensive than it should be.

Best tasting«healthy» food I’ve ever tried. You can’t beat the falafel either. Usually you just pick and choose what you want to add into your falafel, but with the way they made everything I just put everything in there and it was scrumptious.

We went on Friday around 5 pm, it was not very busy. We got the Spicy Cauliflower and Potato Sandwich made with freshly baked za’atar bread.(we saw them freshly baking it to order) Ps. It was more of a wrap that broke when we took it to go to Pan Pacific Park across the street. It was spicier than expected but not overwhelming. It is a tangy sauce that tastes like the love child of American buffalo sauce and Asian rooster garlic chili sauce. Otherwise, it was flavorful and satisfying; with ribbons of red onions, dice of fresh tomato, and garlands of cilantro(coriander). It is vegan my vegan homies! We would likely stop by again for lunch if in the area. The bathrooms are single-occupant, gender specific and clean. This is our first review. We felt compelled to make a Unilocal account after leaving this café. If that says anything about the place.

I came here once with a few girlfriends. It was pretty early, so we had the place almost to ourselves. Everything that we ordered was delicious, and the service was great. I keep forgetting that it exists, but I need to go back!

Awesome Lebanese food. Everything is homemade in a casual atmosphere. Great for lunch. The falafel is the best I have ever had! They make it fresh to order. The Za’atar bread is rolled and baked to order too! The spicy Harissa is made fresh and packs a punch! The only criticism is the stinginess of the portions of the dressings. The other portions are huge especially if you get the plate options… The spicy hummus is fantastic too!

Great food, but they’ll always find a way to screw you on price. For example, I ordered a large fattoush salad with chicken on top… $ 19! They charged me for a whole additional chicken plate. In my book, that’s ridiculous, but your mileage may vary. Again, the food is good.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I woke up this morning still thinking about it. We ordered the spicy hummus and devoured it with falafel. Everything on the menu(except the bread is gluten free). Urban Garden– I need to have a weekly humus pick up because your humus is the best I’ve ever had(and I eat a lot of it)! I ordered the turmeric chicken — also incredible. My boyfriend had the feta wrap, which he loved. My Dad & Step Mom ordered the falafel wrap and love them too. Oh! I mustn’t forget. Incredible fries. No idea what they mix them with but whatever they’re doing is working. PS– Consider a move to Orange County :)

I loved this restaurant! I don’t understand how anybody could give it a bad review. We stopped in for a quick bite to eat and the gentleman at the register couldn’t have been nicer. The food was incredible! The hummus was delicious and the falafel was out of this world! If I lived in Los Angeles I would be going here all of the time!!! Can I give it 10 stars??? :)

I dont understand how they stay in business. I got some cauliflower wrap and my husband some meat wrap. His wrap was missing salt and was completely tasteless and mine… well, i could make same at home. i was excited to try this place but won’t come back

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I had the chicken shawarma, the cucumber/tomato salad and the humus. Everything was so tasty! I can’t wait to try other things on the menu. I will return for sure!

You know these urban hipster Mediterranean places which offer beer, good food, vegan friendly fare(whatever that means), and outside seating? Neither do I, but this place does a good job epitomizing one. In the usual good-food-fast style you order at the counter and a really friendly server is going to take care of the rest. I opted for the Chicken Shawarma Plate with Quinoa Tabouli, Hummus, and Pita along with a Wheat Beer in a can. Sorry, can’t tell you which one, but it was quite refreshing and citrusy with earthy notes on the finish. After I grabbed my place outside, it only took a few minutes before I received my order. One thing that I noticed immediately was the pita, which was wrapped in foil and resembled more of a lavash than a pita. A chew interior — in a good way — with a little oil and herbs on the outside. Perfect for scooping up the thick and despite the za’atar spice a tad bland hummus. The tabouli was really well made and quite refreshing. As for the chicken Shawarma I really have no complaints. Nice crispy char, whether from the rotating spick or simply finished on the flat top, the chicken was moist, well seasoned and hit the spot. Yes it’s expensive for what it is, but the ingredients are clearly of quality and the service, ambience, and location justify the price — almost. Besides, you can always grab an ice cream for dessert right next door. Score!

Dinner tastes so much better after dessert. After a run of sweet treats Peter and I appreciated something healthy and filling. They hit all the right notes with accommodating dietary needs. Everything is prepared fresh and healthy. I had the platter. I couldn’t make a decision as to what I wanted, therefore, let them make the decision for me. They did me right. Best humus that I’ve had. It’s like all the spices had sex with each other and didn’t want to leave the next morning. Great customer service and chill atmosphere. Prices were respectable.

This place is, hands down, the best vegetarian meal I’ve ever spent money on at a restaurant. Let me establish something: I love Mediterranean food. It’s my favorite genre of food; I try every Mediterranean restaurant I come across, and thus far, this place has taken the cake. I was turned onto UG by a client at my job, who constantly brings in one of the to-go vibrant felafel, hummus & salad plates that they offer. So, on lunch one day, I took my girlfriend here to try it out. We were totally blown away by the quality. We ended up getting the same meal, felafel with spicy hummus and cucumber & tomato salad. The felafel was probably the best I’ve had since living in Los Angeles, which is definitely saying something, and the spicy hummus was superb. The plate also came with pita, which was excellently seasoned and incredibly delicious – definitely fresh-baked in house. Overall, the meal was very filling and I was left feeling very satisfied and not weighed down or left in a food coma. I’m very excited to dine here again, which is when I will try the lamb or chicken shwaerma. My only complaint about this place is that the plates are a wee bit pricey – about $ 11 to $ 16 a meal, but it’s on Beverly blvd in a really expensive neighborhood, so you’re pretty much paying for that wherever you go, and this place is well worth it in comparison to some of the other nearby Mediterranean joints.

This place is absolutely epic. It was empty at 8pm on a Saturday night, and I had one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life. :) I’m not just saying good for a casual sandwich. This was an amazingly tasty meal regardless of price or genre. The pita bread is freshly made and baked and you can taste it 200%. The spicy lamb was moist, tasty and rich. The potatoes were interesting, fresh, spicy and crisp. The place looks somewhat cold and generic, but it’s entirely misleading, as the food is wholesome and warm, earthy and comfort-like. Do yourself a favor and check it out. Get the spicy lamb sandwich or the spicy potatoes and thank me later. :)

Amazed that this place is still open. I guess people don’t know any better. It’s way over-priced – $ 9 falafel sandwich is worth $ 6, at best(although the greens inside are better than before.) And it’s not particularly flavorful. And, I swear, a little smaller than before. My guess is that considering the wealth of the neighborhood, people who eat there don’t know any better as to how good Middle Eastern food can be, and how much cheaper it should be. Oh well. HOWEVER, if you’re lucky, a passionfruit from the vine outside will drop while you’re there, and then the trip is almost worth it.

The chicken Schwarma was delicious. They forgot he sauces I asked for with delivery but I used the Caviar app and it was a very good meal. Those who didn’t see it yesterday here’s a free meal! There’s no catch. It’s $ 25 for free food delivered to you. And you get credit for friend referrals for more free food. USECODE: ORDERIN5 for another $ 5 off.

This place is SPECTACULAR! My boyfriend and I came in on a Sunday for lunch. The interior is cute and I love that they have seating outside as well. WAY more importantly, this is the most flavorful, delicious middle eastern food I’ve had in LA. I suggest getting one of the platters so you can try it all. I have never had bread like the bread they serve with your order. It’s like pita but doughier, almost like a really good pizza-doughish bread and drizzled with oil and herbs. The staff was super sweet and accomodating. I asked a bunch of questions and tried a bunch of things. Looking for something super hearty and savory… go now! Support your taste buds and support this place! ;)

Best spicy hummus and falafel I’ve had yet! The rice, couscous side, cucumber tomato side, chicken shawarma, and garlic hummus were all really great too. It’s been 2 days and I’m still craving their falafel and hummus! You can tell that it’s all made from scratch. Must try! Pros They offer real utensils and cups even though it’s a casual dining spot. #zerowaste The hummus and falafel! Small outdoor seating Cons Street parking. Price. Although you are paying for higher quality ingredients you can taste, the average joe probably can’t justify $ 14 for a plate he can get for $ 9 elsewhere. It’s subjective.

I had lunch here yesterday and LOVED it! So delicious, healthy and fresh. For $ 15 I ordered the hearty plate, a little pricey more than I would spend on lunch but it was so delicious. I chose the following: 1. free range chicken shwarma with tumeric & spice– amazing flavor and over a small bed of rice, more chicken than rice thank god! 2. garlic hummus– was not so garlicky but creamy and good flavoring 3. cucumber/tomato salad– very light and refreshing 4. pita *** My only complaint is they did not include the tahini and forgot my friend’s yogurt sauce. The plate is generously sized, my friend ordered a wrap and that was also really big. I would totally come back because it’s fast, delicious and use good ingredients!
