Good, busy, the place is just okay. You get in line, look at a long menu created especially for hippie-vegan-hipsters and you take your chances. Some of it is really good and some taste a bit like dirt. Try to get there before rush hour or you’ll regret it. More and more LAPD have started to eat here. Good for them. Must be part of the department’s policy on cutting down on you know what and eating healthier pastries. It’s not as easy to find as one may think but the outdoor seating helps.

After constantly hearing about this spot, I had to try it out. I’m glad we went to the location in the arts district too– there were plenty of cool places to explore in the area afterwards. We sat outside on the front patio on this nice evening but sadly didn’t see any celebrities as people have told me I would. The food was very fresh and tasty. I ordered the Niçoise salad, and the salmon was amazing. The dressing was nice and light too. The bread that accompanies the entrée is also delicious. I loved the fruit infused water with my meal. This place is definitely unique and insta worthy! Glad I got a taste before leaving LA.

Talk about a super trendy spot in Downtown LA. Yes it’s not all trend either it’s some great tasting food. The ambiance is what you would expect from a spit in downtown but more sophisticated. The service is fast and Effie isn’t the food while it’s hot and fresh leaves you wanting more and not wanting it to end. Awesome food a total hipster spot or just a morning breakfast with co workers . We love this place great pastries and some of the freshest products ever. They don’t skip a beat when it comes to quality or taste!

Adding my review to the almost 4,000 reviews already available at your disposable. It’s more of a 3.5 review, but I’m bumping it up to a four for Beatriz who was so patient and lovely with my older aunt who asked the same question about 10 times before deciding on something different. Parking: We came here on a Friday night and found a spot on one of the little off streets. This area is pretty popular so street parking is kind of your only deal. Honestly you could park over near Little Tokyo and explore the whole area because you’re so close in distance. Food: Chicken pesto panini, chili soup, and thai tea boba. Totally was 35 dollars. A bit on the pricey side. Panini: Not bad. Not the best, but the mozarrella was fresh – that I appreciated. Bread was a bit crunchy for me. Thai tea boba: a bit on the hipster side, additional spices included that you wouldn’t find in a regular tha tea. Chili soup: Surprisingly good. I’m not a big soup fan, but the flavor was bright and complimented the sandwich my aunt had. I regret not trying the HK designed latte. I didn’t even know they did this or I would have been all over that. We came here last minute, so I was bit under prepared for what would be the best option. The atmosphere is certainly artsy. It’s not really my type of establishment, but I’m very glad I tried it. Perhaps coming here for an early morning breakfast might be fun! Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, just a bit on the busy side for me personally.

4.3 stars for this lovely Caffè! After hearing about this place for the last 7 years from all my hipster friends, I finally checked it out recently. And I’m happy to say that all the hype for this place is completely well-founded and deserved. Fantastic desserts Good drinks– latte art on point! Excellent service Casual and chic vibe Perfect for any sort of gettogether Earl Grey tiramisu = slice of heaven Yeah, it’s quite expensive but I think it’s worth the splurge once in awhile to indulge yourself in the heavenly goodness they serve here.

Urth Caffe is just too cool for school! If you want to feel cool then this is the place to be! I sometimes need to rub off on some so I come here. So far I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. From the blended iced coffee boba drinks, to their banana cream dessert and their sandwiches and salads. I’ve enjoyed it all! Yes it can be pricey but their ingredients speak for themselves! Come sit indoors or outdoors, your choice! Just be aware that the line can sometimes get long.

Omg! Urth Caffé please make a location in NorCal! I came here for breakfast hearing it from a friend that it’s highly recommended. It opens at 6 so we came at 7 before hitting universal studios. I love the décor. Very homey. I ordered the Spanish Latté in strong and extra condense milk. My BF got the rude awakening in strong. SOO good and it does the job to wake you up. As food we got the prosciutto panini and the poach de Parma and OMGSOGOOD! The panini came with marinara and fruit. And the poach de Parma, oh my lord. I would definitely order that again. The sage butter and the arugula balances out with the egg and prosciutto. HIGHLYRECOMMENDTHISPLACEANDITSWORTHTHETRIP!

Nice lunch … 4 stars Had to get out of the hussle and bustle of the office, to come here for the hussle and bustle of Urth Café. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, and I guess everyone had the same idea of trying to beat the lunch crowd at 11:30 am. Lots of tables were taken, and it was a 15 min wait in line to get our orders. I got the turkey panini and office mate got the kale quinoa salad, and we each got tiramisu and green tea infuse tiramisu. Got a table right at the entry, and it was noisy, but we dug right into our desserts, and I was half way done before my panini arrived. I took the half home for dinner, and finished my tiramisu. Next time 11 am will be my lunch hour to avoid the lunch hour hussle and bustle.

My favorite Urth location! It is so unique and cool being surrounded by industrial lofts and warehouses. So out of place yet perfectly fitting with the artsy, modern and hipster feel of Arts District. Love the outdoor patio and sidewalk seating — definitely more spacious than the Melrose, BH or SM locations. Food and drinks are quintessential LA: organic, farm to table, healthy, all natural, non GMO… You get my point. Hence pricey but the quality is definitely there. You stand in line to order, get a number and they’ll bring it to the table. Service can be slow at prime time but always friendly and accommodating. My usual order: any quiche and a Spanish latte or green tea boba. Their desserts look great and come in huge size but I always feel that they’re too sweet for my liking.

I love Urth and everything about Urth. I don’t quite understand how this place is so amazing. Yes, I know that the café is super sceney and popular because of the people that visit, but food, drinks, and dessert wise, this place is also on point! Highlights(while I say highlights, everything here is delicious) — Japanese Tea everything. Everything here that is labeled Japanese Tea is delicious. From their iced latte version to their hot lattes, just delicious! You can also request«easy» on the sweet, but quite honestly their sugar level is not that bad in comparison to other drink places. — Green Tea Tiramisu: The way my mom describes this is that this is different because you can tell that the ingredients they use are natural, or rather fresh so that you can taste the flavors through! The sweetness is also not overpowering! — Flourless Chocolate Cake: To die for… I would be doing a disservice to Urth to say that the items listed above are the only good menu options because truly you can’t go wrong with anything here. Its simply a matter of taste preference, so I would definitely recommend visiting this place! *Bring cash for parking! There is a parking lot for Urth available next door for $ 3.

Urth caffe is actually a chain of cafes throughout la. I actually would’ve never known considering how amazing the quality of their food and drinks are. The café is super spacious with plenty of seating both inside and outside. While visiting this specific location, I ordered the Japanese tea latte and the prosciutto panini. Japanese tea latte(5⁄5) Literally the best matcha green latte I ever had. This was extremely creamy and not too sweet. I literally chugged my drink and regretted it because I had no more :( Prosciutto panini(3⁄5) For some reason my panini was just oddly salty. There were two layers of cheese, which most people would like, but I personally found heavy. I asked for no basil in this, but they also forgot to add the mushrooms in here, which I was super looking forward to. Something to note is that the green tea latte was so good that I ended up ordering it again at another urth caffe which did not prepare it nearly half as good as this location did. I would undoubtedly come back again a bajillion times for more of those lattes, specifically this location.

This is the original Urth. Located in the Artsy Fartsy area of DTLA. If you don’t know where you are going, it’s easy to miss the street. I have, I can’t tell you how many times. There has always been ample parking(free parking) which is an anomaly in downtown. Seating options are inside or outside. It’s always crowded, but the flow of traffic in and out promises a seat quickly. The coffee and tea are served in large mugs and the baked goods are usually tasty. This was my first time to try the carrot cake. Carrot cake is my FAVORITE ~ besides strawberries and crème brûlée and oh, yeah caramel. Anyways, it looked moist, looked fresh and tasted a bit bland. Yes, I was disappointed. Yes, I anticipated more. Still, I’ll be back — I’ll just give something else a try next time.

Urth Caffe is a must visit if you’re out of town and everyone I brought to this place loved it here. This place is perfect for lunch and they have the most amazing desserts… Some of my favorites are the napolean, bavarian fruit tart, and blueberry cheesecake. I also love their organic rainforest coffee beans! Make sure to tell the staff you need course grind if you have a french press. The staff was not aware of what grind you need for different types of coffee makers. If you bring your used coffee bag they give you a small discount on your next coffee bag purchase. I always get the chicken curry sandwich which never disappoints me!

I have a confession to make… I’m obsessed with greentea! Any kind of greentea dessert, I make it my mission to try them all if I see them. Hence, Urth was the first dessert/coffee place that I went to while in LA. Pretty spacious place, you pick your own table after you order at the counter. The server will find you and bring the food/drinks to you. They also have several different self-serve infused water. One odd thing about this place is the valet. Maybe because of the time that I arrived, but they parked my car, then gave me back my key instead. It was supposed to be $ 3 and you have to pay upfront, but I didn’t have cash on me. They said that’s fine just pay them when I come back. By the time I got back, no one was at the valet stand anymore. Oh well, saved me $ 3! Arriving around 8pm on a Friday night, saw the line out to the door, over 3000 reviews for this place, that definitely wasn’t a surprise. Luckily, the line was moving quick, too quick for my undecided mind. Before coming here, I had my eyes set on the greentea tiramisu. Thought it was a given until i saw someone posted the pic with the caption saying it was dry and wasn’t moist at all. Almost made one of the biggest mistakes of my life by leaving LA without trying their greentea tiramisu. Good thing I let my instinct kick it and changed my mind from hazelnut chocolate cake to this amazing tiramisu! The cake was so creamy, fully packed with greentea action! I indulged quickly half of the giant serving within minutes. Had to fight the urge of taking the order half to go with me. I left without the left over, but in return, with a tiny tear rolling down my face… ok maybe that second part didn’t happen, but you got the point. I did regret not getting their greentea latte. Especially after realizing they offer organic too! They are the only place I know so far that offer not only organic coffee, but organic matcha greentea plus other teas as well.

I always hear about the Santa Monica location and was pleased to find this one existed in DTLA. Cool retro feel café with a laid back vibe. The mellow music playing in the background helps ease you in as you wait for your order. Great drink options. They have everything from juices to coffee. I hear the food is good, but I was craving everything chocolate! I ordered their mocha mint iced latte and the chocolate crown. I soon found out that the cake comes with not one, but TWO slices though I’m not complaining! Delicious moist cake, but I couldn’t finish it all… I’ll have to come back to try their food.

I’m not a coffee or tea type of girl but what drew me into this place was the pizza and assortment of desserts. I’m a sweet kind so what I look for is cookies, muffins, and variety of cake or pies. I’m so excited to try this place out. After arriving on a busy Saturday evening, I noticed the long line but it was well organized cause the staff had a good flow if you wanted to dine in, take out or just need something quick and simple. There wasn’t a lot of tables so I just did take out. I got the Sunrise Pizza and oh my it was beautiful. Earl Grey Tiramisu was sweet and fluffy. I wish I got more but there was so much to look at I couldn’t decide. It’s best to come on a weekday during brunch. Only drawback was parking is ridiculous to find but what else is new haha. They have valet parking $ 3 around the corner so it’s not too bad ;)

You can always find me here getting my Bavarian Fruit Tart fix! BESTTHINGEVER. Besides that, their lox anything is amaze as well. I would be here every week if I could afford $ 20~ meals, but my current student budget does not allow me to do so lol. Since this is in the Arts District, parking can be difficult and it can definitely get packed. But it’s a great spot for brunch, late night desserts + drinks, or to catch up with friends!

Next time I’m in LA, I’m going to Urth! Food: My boyfriend ordered the Italian Omelet, which is supposed to be their most popular. It came with a slice of bread and a side salad. The omelet included chicken sausage, fresh basil, peppers, tomatoes and cheese. We both felt it lacked flavor having to ask for sauce, the portion of meat was great, yet flavor was still lacking. I ordered the full Grilled Veggie Pesto sandwich which came with a side of fresh mixed greens. My sandwich was perfectly pressed and utterly delicious. It was served on rustic and tasty bread which came with grilled eggplant, zucchini, red pepper and mushrooms. All of the veggies were grilled and were not super oily, nor dry. The pesto sauce was well-balance and not too salty, like some can be. Both of our meals were very filling and generously portioned. Drink: I ordered a Matcha Green Tea Latte unsweetened and opted for almond milk. Let me say, this is the best GTL I’ve ever had, I’d go back and wait in line just for this. I don’t like bold statements, but Urth deserves the praise. Their green tea is high quality stuff, not that artificial stuff you get in other lattes. The amount of froth and presentation were just perfect. Though I opted for the drink to be unsweetened, the level of sweetness was just right, I think due to the almond milk. It was perfect in the sense that I could taste the green tea without it being overpowering and without sugar being overwhelming. Ambiance: Though insanely busy with a line out of the door, while we ate, we felt very at peace and comfortable. We dined on one of the tables that faces the street, it was a gorgeous day filled with positive vibes and tons of happy faces around. Price: The best part about Urth is the quality, even if the flavor may be lacking, you know you are served very high quality drinks and food. Portions are also very generous. I’m happy with the price we paid for brunch. Service: Efficient, but not as attentive as we’d like due to the high foot traffic. Overall: Great food, vibes and pricing!

What started as a stop for coffee ended up being a dessert Fest for us. Urth Caffe offers plenty of amazing pastries and delicious coffee and the best part is that it is all organic for all you health conscious people out there. The desserts are amazing and you Duchess of Hazelnut became my instant favorite. Every single bite was amazing and the vanilla latte was beyond perfect and that cute latter art made all that much more better. This place is super busy and smaller than its other locations but we lucked out with parking which can be a pain at times in this area, the line moved fast, the servers were super friendly and highly informative of their items and before we knew it we found ourselves sitting in their patio enjoying our delicious desserts and coffee and oh but of course those girly conversations that made it more enjoyable. With plenty of organically delicious pastries, coffees, teas, pizza’s, sandwiches oh and much much more you are sure to enjoy Urth Caffe.

– 46⁄100 reviews of 2016 – I’ve been to other Urth Caffés before, but never had I ever gotten such poor service such as today 3÷13÷16. Came in around 5:35pm and it was a bit crowded, as usual. Surprised to find the line moving so quickly, I jumped in and grabbed a menu. As soon as I reached to the front of the line I was greeted and helped by a young lady. I didn’t have the chance to get her name, but she was the most helpful employee there that night. She helped me order exactly what I wanted. First I went with the green tea espresso, but she asked me if I wanted a sweeter version since the green tea espresso was a bit biter. She then introduced me to the Japanese tea latte, which was a creamy, organic matcha tea that was on the sweeter side($ 3.95). I also ordered a Pizza Catona($ 11.95), which consisted of tomatoes, mozzarella, Burrata cheese, prosciutto di Parma, basil and arugula. Ambiance 4⁄5 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Cute café. Plenty of hipsters! Two indoor eating areas & the patio area upstairs and downstairs(near the street). Plenty of tables. Very chaotic with all of the servers running around Parking 2⁄5 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Street Parking, no private lot. A bit inconvenient on busy days. Service 0.5÷5 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Okay, this is where I’m knocking stars off. I got my Japanese Tea Latte 30 minutes later after I ordered. Really? It wasn’t THAAAT busy. –1 star During the 30 minute mark I had asked if my food was coming soon, and the server said, «No, not yet» and walked away. –1 star When I finally got my food(50 minutes later), I was a bit irritated already. I just wanted to eat a little bit of it and take the rest home. I asked multiple servers for a to-go box. After no one came back with one for 25 mins, I finally asked one more person and he rudely told me, «You can get it yourself, it’s under the water station»… Um, Okay. Yeah no tip for you. –1 star Meal & Drinks 4.5÷5 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Japanese Tea Latte — was warm, not hot anymore. It was still pretty though(see pics). Sweet and creamy with a hint of biterness from the matcha powder. Great suggestion! Rating: 4⁄5 Pizza Catona — First thing I notice was, where’s the tomatoes? Anywho, got over that real quick after I saw how beautifully presented the pizza was. The Catona laid on top of a pizza-shaped cutting board. Four pre-cut slices with each slice having prosciutto wrapped around the burrata cheese and a handful of arugula in the middle. Myyyyy was it delicious! It was even better with the spicy chili oil, basil and Parmesan cheese on the side! Portions were well for 1 person, but also good for a light snack for 2 people to share. Rating: 5⁄5 Overall rating: 2.5482827⁄5 =+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+=+= Honestly, the food, drink, and the atmosphere was great. It was the servers that really killed my experience. After I had packed my food up, a busgirl just snatched the cutting board in front of me. But whatever, no big deal. I’ll just stick to the other locations, even if I have to drive further.

This place definitely lives up to its hype. I’ve been to many different locations and none of them have disappoint me. This place not only has good food but also great vibes. All their salad and sandwiches taste healthy and fresh. For breakfast food, the banana nut oatmeal is really good and definitely get a cup of latte to for the cute latte art!

The food was good and high quality. I had the carrot cake with green tea latte(ice blended). Can’t say that the waiter was great though. He spilled someone else’s drink all over my jeans and I kindly asked him«can I get a napkin please?» But the waiter ignored me and just talked into his mic saying«I have a spill.» And then I asked him again if I can get a napkin thinking that he didn’t hear me from all the noise. And he answered«oh I got some on you?» It wasn’t until I went up to him a third time and said«you know it’s nice to say ‘sorry’ first if you spilled a drink on someone» that he said«OK I’m sorry.» I understand that sometimes waiters make mistakes and spill things but it just makes an unfortunate night worse when someone doesn’t acknowledge that he or she did you wrong even if it was accidental. I would’ve appreciated it if he simply said«sorry», but I just took a used napkin from another table, wiped myself and left the café. I was a waiter once in college and I would’ve been put on notice or fired if i pulled a stunt like that.

The Urth Caffe in Downtown Los Angeles is located in the Arts District. The building is beautiful inside and outside. Finding parking might be a little difficult, but every step towards this place is worth it. You have to order before you could seat down. What I liked about it is that when it gets crazy busy, there is a person directing traffic. Making sure that people are in line in a single file. The breakfast was delicious. I got the breakfast burrito and the ingredients tasted so fresh, but at the time I was there I didn’t know that you could add Pancetta for an extra $ 2.00(I would have added Pancetta). To drink I got the Caffé Mocha(hot cocoa poured over espresso). That drink tasted like heaven. I would definitely would love to come and try other items on the menu, like the Egg Salmone and other items that looked sooo good.

I have been wanting to try this place, especially all their matcha sweetness. They have a few locations in Los Angeles, the one we went to was in at a nice place, but the next few streets seemed kind of sketch. You order in line and get a number and seat. We ordered: Matcha Latte: It was OK, not much flavor, all I tasted was milk Iced Matcha Boba: Kind of watered down and they forgot my boba so I waited 15 minutes :( Matcha Tiramisu: Pretty good, not too sweet, goes great with coffee I was expecting better, but it was good experience, don’t think I’ll come here again.

Good selection of fruits. The fruit smoothie might seem pricey but the portion is worth it. This is a healthy hipster eatery that serves food that is very Instagram /snapchat friendly. you’ll see what I mean when you order their green tea latte. I got a scone which was baked well. but nothing really stood out to me. I like this place though. it’s very quaint.

Geez!!! Beautiful place, atmosphere, staff and food. The line is log people! But don’t worry is worth it. There’s a lot of seating outside than inside. Yes, it is expensive but the quality of food is so good. When coming here we got the panini and a quesadilla. AND we also got a New York cheesecake, which was so cute and a bit big, and most importantly delicious. I loved the fact that when the waiter told us he was going to come back to give us some salsa, he actually came really fast and didn’t forget even if it was crowded. They have awesome communication between staff in order to insure that the customers get the best and rapid service. I will be coming here again.

I’ve been to many urth caffes and I think this has the best ambiance. There is a lot of outdoor seating and the building is made of all brick, with a big clock on top. This location is in arts district and has really easy access to all the hot spots in arts district and also to little Tokyo. I ordered the vanilla latte which I thought was ok, nothing too special. I’ve also had the Spanish latte here which I thought was just ok as well. Food wise, I had the green tea cake which i didn’t like at all and various other desserts which I thought were pretty average. All in all, I would come here to chill with friends and get coffee and tea, but I’d avoid the desserts.

Worst first impression ever! A great business is a summation of great customer service, welcoming environment, cleanliness and quality product. Urth missed the mark on many of these. My partner and I decided to try Urth for the first time. We didn’t mind the lack of parking or having to walk a couple of blocks around the arts district; sadly that was probably one of the best parts of the night. We arrived at Urth, walked up the stairs and observed the outside patio area to be filled with hipsters and other trendy patrons. As soon as we walked towards the entrance we observed a young lady reading the menu blocking our route to the line. We asked her politely if she was in line but we were ignored and she refused to move, pretty much keeping my girlfriend and I blocking the entrance. Before we can go around the young lady we were instructed by a 5′ 2″ troll with a black apron to get in line. Not a «hello» or a «welcome» but a «get in line to order.» Before we could explain that we were trying to do so and before I was able to tell her how much of a rude bitch she was, she walked away. The young lady reading the menu walked out without ordering. So far I’m not having the best time. I was determined to give this place a chance because of the good word of mouth. I saw the neatly placed pastries and smelled the coffee, but felt the piercing eyes of the customers and staff. Idk if it was because of the way I was dressed, if I wasn’t trendy enough, or because I was not a normal customer, but I felt judged as staff and patrons glared at us. We eventually got to the front of the line and ordered the Napoleon, green tea tiramisu and two medium Spanish lattes. The cashier was a highlight as well as she was patient and polite. We briefly waited by the pick up area. The barista gave me two small coffees; they were the wrong size. I provided him with my receipt and calmly explained that it was the wrong size. He scoffed at me, asked me angrily if I was sure and rolled his eyes. By then I had enough by the douche-bagery. I grabbed the coffees and left. Now: the pastries were good, not great. They were flaky and flavor-able. The green tea tiramisu tasted like green tea and the cream in the Napoleon cake was sweet but a little watery. The coffees were great. Highly recommend the Spanish lattes, sweet and can be made decaf, mild or strong. I have nothing against trendy people or hipsters; but I hate being treated like a second class citizen by anyone. Just because my flannel isn’t from American Apparel doesn’t mean I’m not human and that you are better than me. It just means you are trying hard to appear anti-mainstream, intellectual and culturally and musically savvy while I really don’t give two fucks. Overall this place is ok, the coffee is great and the treats are just above average. The service I was given by the troll and barista was unacceptable. The shitty ambiance was just the cherry on top of the crappy first time experience. I hope next time I go I will have better things to say.

This is, by far, my favorite Urth Caffé I’ve have visited and keep coming back! The best perk? Yes, it is possible to find free parking in this area. The staff here is always extremely friendly and there are plenty of tables both indoors and outdoors. These are a few of my favorites: Breakfast — D’Lox Pizza: Their individual pizzas are just the perfect size! If you’re a light eater, their pizzas are definitely enough to share for two people. My favorite is their D’Lox mainly because I LOVE smoked salmon. I’ve also tried their Sunrise Pizza(great for breakfast as well!) and their Pizza Catona(who doesn’t love burrata?). Lunch — Panini Proscuitto Di Parma: This sandwich was the first item I ever tried at Urth and was recommended by my sister. Ever since, I keep coming back for their delicious panini! The flavors in this panini work so well together with the prosciutto and porcini mushroom ductile. Their side salad works perfectly with the dish as well considering the panini is a bit heavy in flavor. Drink — BLENDED Organic Green Tea Boba: This is my absolute favorite! I’ve gotten my friends hooked on this drink as well. It does cost an extra $ 1 to get the drink blended instead of iced but it makes the drink taste even better! It has just the right amount of sweetness. Boba is decent but works really well with their flavor of the green tea. Insider tip: They have a stamp card for their drinks! For every 10 drinks you buy, you get a drink free. Feel free to request for a stamp card if you go to Urth as much as I do!

LA is two hours away from me so when I come here I make sure I visit the most talked about places! I decided to try Urth Caffe because of the awesome reviews & recommendations from my friends. I ordered… BANANANUTOATMEAL: The bananas in this dish are soaked in caramel sauce. I originally thought that the bananas being soaked in caramel sauce would make this dish too sweet but it was perfect. This oatmeal comes with walnuts, a side of milk, & granola. Personally I don’t like much milk in my oatmeal so I didn’t add much & it was still delicious. The granola on the side is a great addition as well but I felt that the walnuts already did a good job adding texture to the oatmeal. All in all, this dish was not too sweet & the warmth that is served with the oatmeal makes for a nice, cold day in LA. My boyfriend ordered. EGGSSALMONE: This was definitely a beauty! The egg yolk did not make the taste of the salmon disappear because of how they cooked the egg. The minimal amount of veggies on top was just right to add the refreshing taste to the salmon making it not too fishy. Also, the cute slices of strawberries & cantaloupe on the side was a nice addition to add some sweetness to this place. HONEYLATTE: My boyfriend got a stomach ache drinking this but believes it was because he rarely drinks caffeine. But idk. Anyways, he said it was alright nonetheless. I suggest going light on the caffeine to avoid potential stomach aches if you’re not used to drinking caffeine because the amount of caffeine is pretty strong. CUSTOMERSERVICE: Cannot begin to tell you about the customer service. It was amazing! My boyfriend & I didn’t know that this place gave self serve water therefore we asked about two times. I noticed that our waiter looked confused at first but was happy to get us water, twice. I then questioned and asked if it was self served water; he laughed & said«Yes» & that it wasn’t a problem that we asked him to get water for us. That’s good customer service right there! Of course, the next time we wanted water we got it ourselves lol. Overall, the customer service is what’s bringing me back to this place. The food here is the cherry on top, must try!

Urth caffe is a place you cannot skip out on. Very good food. I’m never disappointed. Their green tea lattes are super good along with their smoothies. You have to definitely try their veggie lasagna and their sandwiches. Their pizza is good as well but I wouldn’t order it again. Also their deserts are really good I had their Oreo cheese cake once recommend it if you are an Oreo freak! Lol I like how well organized their menu is. Their customer service is ok. They do get really busy it is downtown la!

One of my must go to places when I find myself in the LA area. Urth Caffe has such a warm and welcoming feel to place. The dim lighting provides for an intimate environment. Our group ordered a Japanese matcha tea latte, a Spanish latte, and a cappuccino. All drinks were served with creative foam art. The matcha latte has the perfect amount of matcha and is not sweet at all. Definitely recommend it for anyone who doesn’t want coffee but wants a caffeine boost. The Spanish latte is somewhat sweet while the cappuccino is bitter.

Ultimately disappointed. Always wanted to try Urth. Came on New Year’s Day for dinner. The location was a little hard to find. It is in the middle of some storage units? If you are not familiar with the downtown area it is near Little Tokyo. May be a little scary and sketch for some. There are tables inside and outside and heat lamps outside to keep you warm. It was my first time and the system at urth is very confusing. We were expecting to be seated by someone first. But actually we had to order at the counter, get a number, and wait for our food at a table of our choosing. The girl taking our order, Cindy, was absolutely NOT pleasant from the start. She was rude and gave attitude. I can understand if it was busy and she was tired but that is not acceptable for me. For a meal I got the tuna sandwich which comes with a side salad with vinaigrette dressing. First of all the sandwich was not bad but nothing special. Feel like I could have made it at home. The salad barely had any dressing. Basically was just eating lettuce. I ordered a lemonade. In the menu is specifically stated that there were no refills for the lemonade. In my head I thought it was fresh squeezed and homemade. When I ordered the lemonade the server, Cindy, automatically got a cup of ice and poured lemonade out of a carton from a supermarket!!! Are you kidding me??? Why can’t I get refills on supermarket lemonade??? Sigh. Was very disappointed with the meal. Came with two friends. The tables outside are really small, too small to fit 3 people on, but we tried to make the best of the situation as possible. My friends got sandwiches with Thai ice tea and Thai Ice tea blended. BEWARE: both of my friends got sick the next day(presumably from the Thai tea). DONOTGETTHETHAITEA. Overall it is over priced food you can make at home. Staff overall is average or below average. Some servers serving the food seemed to have little or no training when it comes to customer service. According to Unilocal reviews this location is suppose to be better than the Pasadena location??? Yikes, would not want to visit that location after the experience here. Would I come back? defiantly no.

Parking is plentiful. I suggest you just valet. It is wayyy more spacious than the Melrose location. The place is very cute. The wait was decent even with a long line and customers waiting for their food. I ordered the Honey Vanilla Latte(soooo bomb)!!! My friend and I shared a chicken panini, caesar salad, and chicken soup. All delicious. Hahaha Wouldn’t mind coming back to this location. I suggest ya’ll get the hot lattes for cute deco. Totally forgot and got a to-go cup. Sooo annoying. I failed all 4 times I went to Urth!

Oh Urth Caffe. A true homebase for hipsters and the classy. Jokes aside, this place has awesome food and drinks and is well worth the lineups. Their lattes are awesome, but if you are here you don’t want to miss out on their green tea items — green tea boba and green tea bebero are amazing. The green tea bebero is this condensed milk and green tea heavenly drink. It’s pretty sweet but oh so good. For food, I had the pizza with runny egg, salad, and a slice of hazelnut chocolate cake for dessert. Everything was amazing. I really appreciate how they make their sinful food taste«healthy». I probably ate 10k calories but it wasnt greasy and I didn’t feel too bad about consuming a whole pizza, salad and slice of cake all to myself. The parking is a bit tricky and you might have to walk a while. Ambiance is awesome and cozy and they bring your order to your table so you can focus on being a social butterfly.

Great joint to hang out. Been coming here since they opened their 1st caffe here in DTLA. All their food is good, coffees and lattes are great. 4 stars because they messed up many orders and long wait for drinks and food sometimes. Walk in, pick up a menu, stand in line, place order at counter for drinks and food, pay, grab a table number and find a table to be seated. Cozy dining room inside with window viewing of roasting machines in progress. Optional fireplace seating if you can get it otherwise pleasant outdoor seating with heaters also. Waffles, natural hash and Latte is a good way to start the day. So much food, good for two to split.

Pretty expensive and very crowded. Pros: Service is great and the staff are all very nice even though it gets very crowded. Food taste good, but what is even better is their nice little desserts. Serving sizes aren’t too bad and the drinks are nice too. Cons: Expensive… you can park along the street or you can valet for $ 3. It’s in the Arts District. I hate how the Arts District seems ghetto as all hell because there is literally not lighting except for small blotches here and there. Wifi doesn’t work, but I didn’t care too much about that. Bottom line: I most likely won’t come back here for a while mainly due to the price. I mean come on. it’s a sandwich. for like $ 16. it’s not like some crazy gourmet sandwich either. it’s just a decent sandwich. I really like the desserts though and the designs on the coffee were neat too.

Overrated. I ordered the vegetarian chili and it came out room temperature. So when I told a waiter, it ended up going into the microwave and coming back to me. What’s up with that! That soup should’ve been hot to begin with! The bread was also hard, dry and untoasted. If it weren’t for the cute lattes, I generally don’t have an interest in returning any time soon. Everything is a little over priced in my opinion.

If there’s one tiramisu that I’d eat as the last tiramisu of my life, it would have to be from Urth. This place never disappoints, along with their amazing pumpkin pie. Surprisingly, the parking wasn’t so bad at all despite my prejudice for the for order DT district. The interior is nice, busy as usual just like any other Urth Café. I’m only giving 4 stars, because the Santa Monica location is my favorite in regards to their outside patio and how pretty it is. Regular tiramisu– 5 stars. Ear Grey Tiramisu– 5 stars. A different twist. Not like the usual, but it was still amazing. Green Tea Tiramisu– 4 stars. I still prefer the other two in comparison. Pumpkin Pie– 5 stars. Their thick, graham cracker crust all around the sides and bottom is a winner along with their fresh whipped cream. URTH, MELOVEYOULONGTIME.

Why does this always happen to me. I went to the location in Beverly Hills and the cashier asked me when I wanted my tiramisu if I wanted one from yesterday. *stares at her* really? And that time it was in the afternoon, so it has definitely been a while. OH and she said she’d give it to me for the same price. LIKE… DOESTHATMAKEANYSENSE? Now, this time. I went in the morning and the cashier didn’t bother to ask, he just automatically grabbed the last one they had on display. WHEN I just saw them bring out a new batch. So eyeballed him and when he came back to the register, I asked him if he got the fresh one that just came out. He said oh… I didn’t notice they brought fresh ones, did you want that? Uh… Yes. Then he kindly went aback to grab me a fresh one. I understand you guys want to try and get rid of the day old ones, but that’s not how it should be done. At least ask the customer instead of tricking them thinking they wouldn’t notice. They’re so lucky I like their pastries, cakes, and tarts. It’s like they put an addictive serum in or something.

Such a cute place for brunch! Parking is a little difficult because it’s all street parking and it’s pretty crowded. When we first got here, it was super busy, but the line wasn’t that bad. Within a few minutes, the place was filled with people and the line got really long. My boyfriend had the pesto sandwich and I had the eggs salmone. It was really good and the eggs were perfect. This place is perfect for desserts and drinks too. I really liked the blended green tea boba. It was so flavorful with a strong green tea flavor. I would definitely come back to try the desserts and other food! This place is perfect for brunch/lunch dates.

Good thing Urth Caffe is only located in SoCal or else i’d be a broke ass bitch trying to eat here all the time LOL. Although slightly pricey for lunch, it is still a nice place to stop by and eat once in awhile. I came here awhile back, when I visited my friend. I had wanted to try this place out since it was sitting in my bookmarks for a long time and I’ve heard a lot of hype about this place. We got here around 1pm, and had a bit of a difficulty finding parking. It’s weirdly placed in a corner where there are a lot of manufacturing buildings around the area. There is a private lot across the narrow street for parking for Urth Caffe, since it is quite popular, but you have to pay. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to grab a spot as someone is leaving. There was a small line when we walked in, but it moved fast. There are menus as you wait in line and tell the cashier your order. Then they bring out the food out to you! –Chicken Curry Sandwich: def a must try. Blend of flavors and lots of chicken! You can taste the curry, but not so much that it overwhelms you. It was kind of on the sweet and savory side. –Urth Salad: refreshing, i loved the sweet bite-sized tomatoes, feta cheese and the tangy vinaigrette. But i wasnt that big of a fan of the Kalamata olives. –Spanish Latte: Tried this one also, very delicious. Cant really put my finger on what it was, but it tasted kinda hazelnutty. –Caffe Granita: the ice cappuccino. Foamy, icy, sweet and great. Bigger cup than hot drinks. The employees are very nice and helpful with our orders. The ambience was a bit hipster-ish and rustic, due to the décor and the red brick walls that lined the outside of the building. The seating was cute, as there was a huge patio as well as seating on the large street/sidewalk. The clear glass doors that opened up to the patio gave a large amount of sunlight in without needing to turn on the lights for the inside, making it have a very cheery and laidback atmosphere.

Bön endroit pour prendre un petit déjeuner copieux. Mais il n’y a pas de choix light. Le service est bon. Demander un cappuccino italien. Bémol, il faut venir en voiture car c’est un peu la zone, possibilité de se garer dans le parking des clients.
