Perfect location in terms of the campus and the staff is really nice. I really appreciate how helpful they can be when my doctor is slow on approving a prescription and I can happily say that I know a lot of the staff by name.

Good location right in the center of campus but I try to avoid this place when I can because it’s quite small and service can be slow.
It’s much more convenient for me to go to CVS for the small stuff but of course for prescriptions you should go here. The people working are pretty nice but I remember waiting for almost an hour to pick up my medicine when they didn’t have it ready at the time they said they would… that was really annoying since I felt horrible and didn’t want to sit around. I like how when the give you the medicine they will give you counseling and make sure you know when/​how many times to take it =D
If they still have the two line system thats bothersome because it awkwardly fills up the aisles where people need to get into to find a product. But since the space is so small I can’t really complain… needs to be expanded for sure!

Think this pharmacy is perfect for a university pharmacy.
The pharmacists here are very down to earth and used to working with the college population. They counsel people on the medications and I know some students don’t want to hear it but really, if this medication is going to interfere with birth control and get you pregnant or give you a really bad reaction when taken with alcohol, I’d consider that info I want to know. They’re very helpful with issues that college students have. If you ask to talk to the pharmacists in a more private area, there’s booths at the sides that are very discrete.
People can complain that their service is slow but if your medication is taking forever to come out, there’s more likely a problem with the prescription or insurance that they’re trying to get resolved. The prescriptions are for the main part ready at their promised time.
The staff here is very friendly. I saw a girl come in with a scraped knee and she was bleeding in a few places because she got hit by a bike. The pharmacist actually helped clean her wounds and bandage her up with their supplies and told her how to take care of her wounds. Pretty nice I’d say.

I came here many times to pick up medicine or other health supplies.
The service is slow and inconsistent. I used to pick up prescriptions here, and they would force me to get counseling on the drugs, or else lecture me about my foolishness. This was really frustrating when I was in a hurry and was willing to waive counseling. On the plus side, the service people are friendly and willing to strike up a conversation.
They have two lines, ostensibly one for prescription pickups and one for other purchases. Yet this system breaks down because people choose the shorter line and screw over one another. Just pick a line and stick with it.
Unfortunately, their hours are severely limited, so you can’t come in late at night or on weekends. The facilities are also rather cramped. I find it awkward to wait in line while customers right in front of me are shopping for birth control and laxatives.
The product selection is decent and covers typical health needs. The prices are rather outrageous, though.
I cannot criticize this place too heavily, because I made plenty of memories here. There were colds and coughs and cuts and scrapes I needed to attend to. and hey, you always appreciate a pharmacy when you can find one. The location is also central — right by Tommy Trojan and the bookstore. But if you want a more serious pharmacy, check out CVS in the University Gateway.

This location is smaller in size than Usual they have all the needs of a person with great customer service. Plus great local stores

For a uni pharmacy, this place is huuuuge. It’s smack-​dab in the middle of campus which will either be super convenient for you or a royal pain in the ass (if you feel like death and live off-​campus).
The staff are reasonably efficient and knowledgeable — I had tons of questions about insurance one time (whether USC or my family’s insurance had better coverage for cold meds I was prescribed), and they took the time to phone my other insurance company and find an answer for me. Impressive!
The wait times can get god-​awful when you have some slower staff members and people who can’t read the signs for what line to stand in (it doesn’t help that they’re stupidly posted. you have to be paying attention to even notice they’re there).
As another reviewer said, there’s zip as far as privacy goes, so if you’re picking up something that you wouldn’t want on the front page of the DT, come at a quieter hour: P

By the time I walked from the health center to Tommy Trojan, my prescriptions were ready for pickup. To be fair, by walked I mean hobbled on crutches. Convenient location (obviously, since the vendors and propaganda-​pushers all prowl Trousdale), exploitative pricing. And really? You want to disclose my medical information in public? Pretend to whisper, thanks.

As a USC student I have been to this pharmacy a few times to get perscriptions filled. Location is great if you are on campus, but the flipside of that is that it is convenient for every USC student and the lines can get long. Also, the prices for regular items seemed higher than one would pay at a CVS.
Positives are the pharmacy staff is cordial and there is a huge mural painted behind the counter so you have something to look at while you are waiting 20 minutes to talk to someone. They also have Flintstone vitamins, which I like eating like candy.

The only reason to use this pharmacy is the location. Now with the CVS in Gateway I expect there to be a lot less business.
I’ve had a lot of trouble with the pharmacists actually filling prescriptions in a timely manner. I suggest if you use this pharmacy to call before picking up a prescription to make sure they actually filled it. Plus the lines can get super long.
The cashiers are super nice though and before CVS it was really the only close place to go.

It serves its purpose. I would be wary about having my prescription being botched up by one of the interns who work there, but that can happen at any pharmacy. Prescription pick-​up lines are always really long, but the retail lines are always very short.

Located near Tommy Trojan on the USC University Park (main) campus, the USC Pharmacy is the most convenient place for USC students to pick up prescriptions, buy over-​the-​counter medications, or pick up miscellaneous drugstore items. They work with the USC Health Center to call in prescriptions and handle USC student insurance plans. Show up and drop your prescription form in their drop-​box and the prescription is usually available for pick-​up within an hour. Or call ahead and leave your prescription info before coming in. The staff there is friendly, helpful, and hard-​working.
