V5 Car Wash

If I could give a negative star review I would. Manager only cares about money not about making customers happy.
Went today to get my car washed. I paid for the V5 special. Special is right. The guy who ended up drying my car spent as much time in his personal car as mine. Then he committed a cardinal sin to me. He was cleaning my car’s tires and wheels with a blue towel. After cleaning one tire and wheel he proceeded to wipe down my car with the same exact towel. WTF. I stopped him then and there and tried to explain to the fool why you don’t clean a car with a dirty towel. Idiot thought there was nothing wrong with using that dirty towel because he was spraying my car with some cheap yellow cleaner.
The manager also had no problems using a dirty towel cleaning my car. I asked for my money back and he said there’s no refunds. Okay lesson learned, I won’t be coming back to that sh*thole to get my car cleaned.
If you value your car, I would not get it washed here. Management doesn’t care about your car or you, just the dollars you throw away at this place.

It’s the worst place to bring your car for a wash and detailing. It looks like they have all the right equipment to do a good job but Unfortunately it looks like they hire unprofessional people to do the work. I brought my Tahoe for a carpet cleaning and interior detailing and they finished like in an hour and a half and it looks all right to me at first because it was done like late in the evening and the carpet was still wet when I got home I have to run towels for like two days. I will never recommend this place

This place is a wreck, and by wreck I mean when they used my car to crash into 5 other cars. Don’t come here, I wouldn’t trust them with anyone’s car. They need to be shut down. I heard this wasn’t the first time a car accident had occurred. I’m not gonna even post photos of the damage. The accident happened in July and I’m still dealing with it today. Stay away!

I like this place, I don’t know about all of these neg reviews. I’ve gone here a few times a year over the past few years and I’m always happy. They use a LOT of armor all and put a lot of work into it. In general, it looks better if I take it in on a weekday because they are slammed on weekends and they don’t even have space on the car lot but they are always nice. This is one arena where I will always tip well because these people work hard, they don’t get a lot of chill time and they are often working in the hottest weather.

Bad bad bad… I Dont give a Unilocal review often but this place deserves a good kick in the bum. They did not even close my driver side door properly which could lead to water leakage, didnt even vacuum my suv trunk. When I complained a bit and it was a calm one too, they did not even apologize. What was even worse, when the owner told the towel guy to take the car back to get it vacuumed, I saw him dusting the trunk with his towel and that was it. Owner didnt even bother to check to make sure it was done. My family has been in the restaurant business for 20 years and I am a sales director which client satisfaction is a must. If I ran my business and staff this way, I would never ever expect a customer to return.
I came to this place because I moved and its right by, but I will drive to the other side of town to my old car wash. Never ever will go back.

V5 Car Wash. Its no wonder there are only a few stars. I have taken my vehicle here many times. Once they left the window opened and got my car full or soap. That was fun. Very annoying. The washes are never fully clean. Windows are always streaked and water spots on the paint. And for the so called friendly staff-​NOT! The past several times I have been there I usually get the $ 15 wash. Then I left a $ 5 tip for the guy. BUT each time I never receive a courtesy «Thank You». So the next time I was back I remembered the guy was not happy when I left him a $ 5 tip. So this time why waste it, I left $ 3. Again nothing. The next time $ 2. Nothing. Today $ 1 and again nothing. Next time $ 0 and I will smile even though they do not.
It is not fair to the other workers but after many times and never getting a thank you. Maybe the guy thinks, «I will show this customer being all passive aggressive, by not saying thank you, he will know the tip sucked and next time he will give me more». WRONG! Gees. Its not worth the effort!

Definitely not the best car wash place but relatively speaking (in comparison with other car wash businesses in koreatown) I was satisfied because of their price (starts at 14.99) and convenience (huge open lot = less waiting time). I recommend you check the cat before heading out though; if they missed a spot, just tell the guy and he will take care of it.

I have come here several times and as someone else said it’s hit or miss. The wait time for them to clean your car can be very long, one time my car sat outside for 15 minutes without anyone touching it — I finally went inside and said something. Last time I went I realized they didn’t even pop my trunk open to dry up the water and there was black dirt all over the back bumper (I have a white car so that would be hard to miss). I ended up having to re-​clean the back of the car. Will I go back — probably just cause it’s near my work — would I recommend it — NO.

Please never go this place. Is the worst car wash place!!!
My exterior and interior had a dust of spots and the workers didn’t even clean it. The so-​called «Gold» Car Wash costed me $ 20 and when I asked them to clean my car a bit more, they told me that it costed more money. I went there with a friend and she hated it too. I don’t recommend this place. YOU WILL REGRET COMING HERE. I gave one star in this review but it’s only because I had to rate this place. They do not deserve stars. Don’t ever come here.

Dont ever wash ur car here! My car was scratched. Never trust korean places. Fwk! This place will rot in hell.

Worst customer service! My car dried up with the sun and no one wanted to clean my car and waited for 30 min i dried it my self i do not recommend this place what so ever i have been coming here for years and never had a problem! Until now so dissatisfied and disappointed

Smiled, thanked her and left. Preferred leaving a review than arguing.
The cashier wasn’t fit for job.
My card had scratches and she didn’t even have the knowledge to fill out my card number manually. All she could do was slide it over and over and over…
Offered to pay with Apple Pat but they are not modern enough to have an NFC terminal.
Asked if I could go to the bank to get money from the ATM there, as their ATM couldn’t read my card and she said yes.
Went to my car and as I was about to rush to the BOA ATM (the car wash closes at 5 on Sunday), a guy with sunglasses came to me with a very rude tone telling me I couldn’t leave without paying (which was completely understandable). Asked to leave my ID so I can run to the bank to get money, but an ID wasn’t enough for him. No car… He wanted me to walk who knows how many blocks!!!
I offered if I could leave both my ID and my card and he accepted.
But now with no card at hand, I had to rush home to get cash.
Long story short I made it before 5 and after all of this was over, politely asked cashier: aren’t you supposed to log the card number manually when this sort of thing happens?
«Oh Ya but I never did it before, sorry» she answered.
Smiled, thanked her and left. I prefer leaving a review than argue.

Paid $ 25.99 to have 75% of the exterior washed (water spots left everywhere) and 50% of the interior wiped. The guy who cleaned the inside only wiped the top counter and vacuumed the mats, not the middle or sides. He demanded a tip even though I had to individually point out all the spots he had missed (cup holders, door handles, side mirrors, etc)
Another thing is that when I pointed out a spot to him, the guy just said he tried and it wouldn’t come off. I wiped it once with my finger and it came off. He didn’t even try and lied about it. Ugh.
Basically at most they wipe it down once with a towel. No different than a $ 5 drive through wash in my opinion.

I had been driving around in a filthy car for far too long. I was almost getting embarrassed. Bird poop, dirt and pollution clung to the silver paint and I was ready for it to be gone. I read some pretty bad reviews on this place but after being here in a time crunch, I don’t have one complaint. I was in and out in a half hour just before closing. I got the Gold Wash for $ 14.99 which is one step up from the basic for $ 12.99. My exterior is spotless with no scratches. They also vacuumed the inside and cleaned the tires well. The waiting area isn’t bad and you can see your car finishing up after the wash. It’s just a car wash place not a spa. I will definitely be back.

How is this place still in business? The person who made initial contact with me had no interest in which wash I wanted. (He clearly hated his job.) While waiting for my car, a BIG ass cockroach was roaming the cashiers lobby! F**kin’ disgusting! When my car was done no one made an attempted to find me, I examined my car after retrieving my keys and there was still a huge bird sh*t stain on my hood AND a spill I clearly pointed out and asked them to take care of in the interior. AND as I drove off water from the top of my car rolled down onto my windshield.
I will never return to this establishment. I usually get my car washed on Melrose, it’s out of my way but I’ll make the trip for my baby. It’s also half the price and the quality of work is always 5 stars.

I have to warn people of this place. V5 is the worst place you can go for a carwash around Korea Town. Please save your money and go someplace else.
I have been a customer for years, and kept noticing that their service is getting worse over time. Today I paid 50 $ for a carwash, and gotten my car back covered in dirt, water stains, streaks etc. I let their bad job go several times before but this time it gotten out of hand. I usually get a basic wash for my old car, and feel bad complaining too much. Today I took brand new car for their most expensive wash, and the result was outrageously bad. I talked to a manager, and he didn’t seem to care much, but offered to give me a voucher for a wash. Mind you, he offered their cheapest wash ($ 12), after I paid 50 $ and their employee didn’t even bother to wash the interior, or wipe the wheels. Not a single apology, or implication of regret for such a bad job. I agreed to let them simply wash the interior again, and still found water stains and dirt all over. At that point I felt that clearly neither the workers or the management cares, so I left without bothering to ask a manager if THAT what he think a 50 $ wash should result in.
BOTTOM LINE:
Please don’t waste your time and money, even is this place is located conveniently close to you. You won’t get what you pay for, even after you complain, and their re-​wash your car twice. I with this place would be taken over by someone who cares about their business and customers. Until then I would take my business someplace else.

This place is the worst. I save giving out my 1 stars for places that really piss me off, but since this place sucked but got the job (sorta) done, I give it 2 stars. I believe all the bad reviews and am skeptical of the good ones with poor grammar.
The faulty advertising for an express wash outside for $ 9? is what drew me in. I honestly don’t remember what the price was but I ended up getting charged $ 13. I wish I spoke Korean. The woman inside was very nice, but as a whole I didn’t feel like the workers at this car wash were friendly.
I dropped by early in the morning, around 8am, and the process still took about 25 minutes. Plus, when I got my car back, I would found several dried water marks on the exterior and a crappy job of cleaning the interior.
This place was eh enough for me to get a quick clean up my old car. Now that I have a new car, I refuse to bring it in here.

Damaged my brand new F-​Type and the owner refused to do anything about it. I asked him to at least refund me for the wash, and he wouldn’t even give me money back. He tried to tell me the gouges next to my drivers door were probably already there, ignoring the fact that I see that area every single time I get in the car and would have noticed them. My car has less than 2000 miles and already damaged thanks to these unprofessional people.
Despite that, it was a bad car wash. They didn’t open the doors and trunk and clean all of the frame surfaces. Tons of soap residue inside my trunk area. My wheels were still visibly dirty.
To add insult to injury, the tire shine they used literally sprayed all over the side of my car when I drove off.
Avoid at all costs.

This is a great car wash pretty close to my work I like the fact that they have no machines its all human hands washing the car.
The secret here is you gotta tip the guy driving the car into the car wash before hand and he will take care of you.
