I got a headshot package from Groupon. I was skeptical at the beginning because of the reasonable price. Vangie answered my call quickly and she was very kind and helpful over the phone. She is an amazing artist and the head shots were so good that I cancelled my appointment with another well known photographer. I highly recommend her.

Vangie took headshots for me for a portfolio I’m putting together. In this day and age, we all need some. She was super professional and friendly. I hate taking pictures and have a little anxiety about it. Her friendly demeanor put me at ease and her encouragement made feel less awkward. She nicely gave me direction and helped my posture/​position for better pictures. I would hv been annoyed w me lol, but she made this easy. Vangie Ogg is truly an amazing Photographer. She has done all my family photography my engagement, wedding, Pregnancy, 1^st born, 2^nd born, and times in between. She is able to capture each kids personality’s. Even when they are not the happiest she is able to somehow get smiles out of them. I am amazed every time with how fast she is able to work her magic. I am writing to commend Vangie Ogg on her professionalism in handling an issue of miscommunication between the two of us that stemmed from ME waiting far too long to use a Living Social voucher! She always replied to my emails in a timely manner and maintained professionalism throughout all correspondence with me. I ultimately opted for a refund but would not hesitate to use her services in the future.

I needed a professional headshot for my business website, so I contacted Vangie for the job. She spoke with me on the phone to get an idea of what I was looking for, and then sent me tips on what to wear and not wear to make the photos look great. She traveled to my designated location, and found just the right setting for good lighting. I am not the most photogenic person, but she was very patient as she clicked away. She encouraged me to loosen up as she photographed me to get a natural pose. We shot in a couple of settings. Vangie quickly selected the best 25 or so pictures and promptly sent them to me, and then was patient and helpful in giving her suggestions on the best pictures and in improving the hue on some of them. All throughout, Vangie was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend her for photography.

I am not sure who is writing these positive feedbacks, but as far as I am concerned, the experience of taking pictures with her was OK. However, the pictures themselves were disappointing — VERY disappointing. They were simply terrible. She de-​noised my face so terribly that it looked as if I was drawn into the picture — very unnatural. Furthermore, she takes pictures IN her house, so be prepared to have chairs, walls, and all her furniture in the background of YOUR headshot. For instance, half the picture was my face, the other half was her built-​in bar. Truly terrible pictures. Take a head shot of yourself somewhere in the bar or wherever, they will look better! Guaranteed! She charges $ 175. Complete waste of money!!! NOT recommended!!!

I recently had my first photo shoot experience, and I’m glad that it was with Vangie. She’s very easy-​going, professional, and fun to work with. She made me feel very comfortable in front of the camera, something I didn’t think could be possible. To make things even better, the turnaround on the photos was pretty quick and they came out pretty awesome. If I were to do another photo shoot, Vangie would definitely be the one I’d go to. Vangie was very professional, warm, and friendly. These are very important factors that any photographer should have so that YOU look very relaxed and natural in your pictures. What I liked best about Vangie was that she paid attention to details as she was taking the shots. When there was a hair out of place, she would fix it. When the lighting just doesn’t seem right, she would find a spot that really makes the best shot. I was very satisifed when I saw my pictures and actually had a difficult time narrowing down the best ones. I highly recommend her. Vangie really knows how to capture the best of you.
