The two women (mother and daughter) who run the counter were so nice! I told the mother that I was looking for a special ring as a gift for a friend and she was willing to resize and accommodate my needs at a very reasonable price. I’m actually from New York but I will definitely come back the next time I’m here visiting family!

I would like to say that is this the best service i have ever had on a watch repair. I actually found them as I was parking to go to a very fancy high end place two door down called Feldmar they do a nice job too but are much more pricey.
My father died of cancer when i was just 11 ½– all i have left besides beautiful memories is a 1951 Rolex watch he bought when he was on his honey moon with him and my mom when they went to Gstaad Switzerland. The watch was now rusted and the inner workings almost shot as i wear it every day in respect to my dear father. The work that Veneccian Center did overseen and managed by Mitra at the shop is nothing short of a 10 plus — I will never go anywhere else. It looks stunning now just beautiful and works perfectly and all for a great very reasonable price. On top of that dear Mitra took before and after pictures of the outside to the interior workings and text them to me through the process giving me comfort and great hope. I just picked up the watched and it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you Mitra– now my whole family and many friends will be coming to your store. The best jewerly repair store in Los Angeles.

This is the fifth time I have come into this wonderful shop and every time I am marvelled by something new. They have Judaica from all over the world. Beautiful designs and pieces that are spellbinding. I especially like the vast amount of silver intems they have. Nothing quite like it in the area.
This time I came in to get my watch battery changed and the band fitted. They are very attentive, warm and quick with thir service. They keep me wanting to come back. Their prices are really fair too.
Truly a gem.

This review is based on my one experience at this shop.
I’ve probably walked by this place hundreds of times over the years and never really noticed it. Well, my watch stopped working and I guessed it was the battery, so looked up «watch repair» on good old Unilocal and this place came up.
All I really have to say is, I walked in (or rather was buzzed in, as the front door is kept locked), handed the watch to the shopkeeper and told him it’s dead, probably the battery.
He took it to the back and brought it back in about three minutes. The watch now works again. Cost $ 8.00.
It was easy and fast, can’t really ask for more.

I am sorry to have to write this… I told myself I would do it right away but I gave it a few months. Then I went back into the store thinking I will give it one last try, and when my experience was repeated I figured I had to write this.
Long story short, I was desperate to wear a necklace that has pendants that are connected with a small gold rings. One ring had come loose and I came in expecting that I could wait and they could use pliers to close the ring. The older lady in the store tried to sell me on soldering the rings. I said no thank you I just need this one small ring closed, I am in a hurry and that is all I need.
She insisted, and then said OK we will close the ring but it will take 10 minutes (odd??). Fair enough, I had to leave to put more change in my meter and when I returned she has taken in upon herself to change out all 5 of the small gold rings. I said, no I didn’t want this, and then I said what do I owe you. I said — what do you think is fair? She said $ 20! $ 20 for 5 itty bitty small rings and 5 minutes of work!!!
I paid and told myself I would never return… but then time passed and a ring came loose again. This was the point where I went back in, just give it a shot I said to myself. When I went in, it was the younger sales lady, who agreed to fix it free of charge after some explanation. BUT! Upon my return to pick up the necklace I am greeted by the older lady confirming that I was disappointed in the work, yes I was! And I don’t need attitude from people who price gauge!
How much could those ring cost? Let’s be generous and say $ 5 so 5 minutes of work is $ 15 — I don’t know if you expect to be paid $ 180/​hr for the skill of using pliers to close rings but that is just INSANE!

I stopped by to replace the battery in my brand new Victorinox watch that I sold that day online and just wanted to get the battery replaced. I payed $ 5 and got the watch back. When I came to my office and opened a box to check the watch I saw 3 HUGE SCRATCHES on the back of the watch from the opening tool!!! My watch was ruined and lost 30% of its value, I lost the sale and had to cancel the order. So this visit cost me about $ 145 in damage.
CUSTOMER BEWARE! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR ITEM AND ASK FOR RECEIPT!
I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN.
That guy tried to offer me some extra services like repair of luxury watch, etc.
BUT HOW CAN YOU OFFER LUXURY WATCH REPAIR IF YOU CAN’T EVEN REPLACE THE BATTERY WITHOUT F**KING UP THE ITEM!!!

I was there to have my old clock repaired and the lady that helped me, Mitra, was very professional and very knowledgeable. She explained what has to be done and did it quickly. I am very satisfied that this special old clock is now back in working condition. Thank you!

Awesome little Shop! Went to get my watch battery replaced, and I was in and out of there within five minutes! And for a ghost price, at only $ 8. Would definitely recommend here for watch repairs and battery replacements

Had just moved to the area and needed a good place to replace batteries on several watches. A quick search on Unilocal and I found Veneccian. The reviews don’t lie– they are VERY welcoming and warm, very fast service and extremely fair on pricing. This is how business should be done. Highly recommend and I’ve already been back 3 times. And yes, they remembered me.

I was there to replace the battery of my watches the lady who attended me wanted to charge me $ 50dlls and I told her that was a lot and that somewhere else they would replace them for less than half of didnt let me go telling me she would give me a better price we agreed $ 35 when she gave me the watches she charged me $ 50dlls, of course I complained saying that wasn’t what we agreed and she told me it was because they cleaned the engineering inside WHAAT i never asked them to do that! and after all she charged me 5 extra bucks for paying with card. I call that a fraud! and Idon’t recommend this place at all, they suck!

I’ve always taken my watches here. Quick turn around and great prices. I brought a Seiko divers watch to them, which I had since’ 84. It had not worked in several years. They cleaned it up and now it works great. Today I took a client for a battery replacement. Took 3 minutes and the service was as great as always. This is the place to go in the neighborhood.

These Guys were great! I stopped by to see if they could repair my watch over lunch. They fixed it in less than 5 minutes, and were able to offer my new bands/​designs for the same watch.

When looking to replace the batteries on a few watches Veneccian Center came to the rescue. Not only are they one of the only watch repair places open on Sunday, they are fair, honest, warm and welcoming. Mitra even provided a great discount despite the difficulty of my watch cases. I would absolutely recommend Veneccian Center to anyone. Will certainly be back…

So I added a tip about being ware of them charging more. But then had the chance to talk to the lady who basically runs the place. Her name is Mitra. I asked her why they don’t have fixed prices for changing batteries on a watch. She have me a whole talk on why. An that basically they won’t let you walk out without taking your business. Even if it means haggling and bargaining with you. So when you go, just be prepared to tell them what you’d be willing to pay for the service you want. Overall nice people. A family run business.

Stopped by to replace the batteries in two watches. While I waited, a woman came in to pick up two necklaces that she’d had repaired. The store owner tried to charge her about $ 12 more than the price she’d apparently originally quoted. The customer protested, and the owner immediately backed off, but made it clear that she was doing the customer a *huge* favor by giving her the original price. I didn’t think much of it – maybe the repair was more complicated than they had originally thought, maybe the customer didn’t remember the original quote correctly.
Ten minutes later, the owner comes back out with one of my watches. $ 10 to replace the battery on this one, but the other one was in the back getting a «special cleaning» and that was going to cost me $ 25. When I told her I wasn’t interested in a special cleaning, and that I wasn’t going to pay for an extra service they provided without consulting me first, again, she immediately backed off and just charged me $ 25 for both watches. I did get some complaints for paying with a credit card though.
So I guess props for giving up easily on attempts to overcharge their customers? Definitely seemed like a shifty business, I’ll take my watches elsewhere in the future.

I left my Raymond Weil watch at Feldmar for the battery to be changed and new mechanisms inside reworked only to learn that 5 weeks later, after phoning several times, the work still hadn’t been completed. They sited that the parts were «back ordered» from New York, charge me $ 120 in advance.
When I finally did go to pick up my watch after phoning several times, I set the watch accordinly before I left got home, and they virtually did NOTHING on my expensive watch. I went in the next day, refused to leave without a full cash refund.
Here’s when the delightful Mitra from Veniccian Center comes into the picture.
I stumbled in on this place just down from Feldmar, met the lovely Mitra, asked her how much it would be to replace the battery. She said $ 15. Lovely!
I waited just around 10 minutes, when she came out and told me she cleaned on the inside since it was dirty further proving that Feldmar did Zero, Nada, Zip for FIVE weeks.
I then browsed the vast array of amazingly cool jewelry, told her my daughter was going to prom and her son was also going to prom AND AT THE SAME SCHOOL!
Small world. This adorable lady hooked my daughter up with some fantastic amethyst (purple) earings to match her purple «roaring 20’s era» dress.
It gives me great pleasure to spend money at this establishment where the quality and service are superlative.
