Lovely, tiny and old library tucked in the middle of South LA like a little gem. It is extremely tiny as far as books go – one wall is for fiction and there are about three shelves of English books — but there is a nice-​sized kids section and a surprising amount of DVDs and magazines. The staff are friendly and courteous and there’s a security guard to protect the library visitors from crazy people.
Did I mention it’s tiny? The book selection was so limited that it made me go outside my comfort zone and pick up some random books that I’m actually really enjoying now! Give it a go!
