Dr. Lucas specializes in pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, weight management and hormonal imbalance Dr. Lucas follows the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) philosophy that states the root cause for disharmony needs to be assessed and addressed individually. Consequently, each of Dr. Lucas’ treatments are as unique as the individual. Dr. Lucas believes healing can take many forms, and her work is to incorporate both Western and Eastern traditions into one beautiful healing practice.

Established in 1992.

The Lucas Health & Beauty Center was founded in 1992 by Dr. Victoria Lucas, a seasoned holistic practitioner with years of private, professional healing experience in Los Angeles.

In our practice treatments are as unique as the individual. Dr. Lucas believes healing can take many forms, and her work is to incorporate both Western and Eastern traditions into one beautiful healing practice.

Dr. Lucas holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College and a Masters Degree from Emperors College of Oriental Medicine. Currently, Dr. Lucas is licensed by the State of California in both chiropractic and acupuncture.

Dr. Lucas is a true healer. I don’t know how she does it, but she definitely has the touch. I’ve been struggling with chronic neck pain for several years. I’ve seen other chiropractors, massage therapists and pain specialists. Nothing has worked. Then I visited Dr. Lucas and everything changed for me. I sleep better, feel better — basically I enjoy life more now that Dr. Lucas has provided me with relief. Her massage therapist, Sami, is also incredibly talented. The combination of acupuncture, massage and chiropractic is exactly the formula I needed and she delivers all with kindness and sensitivity. What an absolute gem she is. If you’re in pain, check this place out, you won’t regret it.

Nice doctor! The massage felt good. It was done by someone else though. I prefer my doctor do all of it, but I guess that is not really possible. The location was a bit tricky. Hard to find street parking. Lot parking was $ 1.75 for 12 minutes. For my one hour consultation would have cost $ 8.75. I waited for about half an hour in the office for the doctor so it would have been longer. Don’t be in a hurry if u go there. All the streets around there are parking by permit only. Park on McClellan across Wilshire. The waiting room is pretty small which I wouldn’t usually mind, but I was sitting knee to knee with a guy. There were 4 people in the waiting room and there was less than 3 feet away so it felt personally uncomfortable. There are a couple of beta fish in bowls attached to the wall in the waiting room. The water is really dirty and there is a dead plant in one of the bowls. Wish they would take care of their fish. Makes me wonder if they take care of their clients? The exam/​treatment room was right by the waiting room door and I felt self-​conscious every time they opened the door because waiting room people could kinda see in. For all those little things, I can’t say I will go back.

My only exposure to Dr. Lucas was in regard to a dispute she had with her insurance carrier (my employer). She conducted herself with extreme grace and poise. While the circumstances were not pleasant, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. I wish I lived closer to her clinic — I would be a patient, for sure!

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Lucas for many years now because of the unparalleled combination of compassion, healthcare and knowledge that is shared with us on every visit. Just off the 405, the office is easy to reach and is very comfortable and clean. I also enjoy that there is a lot of great food in the area so it’s a pleasure to combine a visit with lunch or dinner, or a nice glass of wine.

Dr. Lucas has such a gentle and healing touch. Her accupuncture treatments sen me out. I’m able to relax, melt away pain and stress.
When I see her for adjustments they are easy and painless. I have a neck issue and she’s been able to solve it in minimal time. My painful headaches are gone.
Highly recommend seeing her.

I am truly shocked at the way the receptionist treated me and the situation. She called me today to say the person who had booked the appointment made a mistake, and that because i am a first time patient she is unable to book me for a 6pm appointment. I told her that i understand however i work 9−6pm and had made arrangements already to come to the appointment. She says yes well we have to cancel i cant give you an appointment.
I went on to explain that i should not be penalized for the offices mistakes. She just completely ignored everything i was telling her and did not care.
I let her know i work from 9−6pm everyday and 6pm is the earliest i could make it. After the first appointment i would be a repeat patient but she did not care, she would not even give me the respect of honoring their mistakes and assisting me to become a repeat patient of Dr Lucas.
I HOPE THE DR KNOWS HOW HER FRONT DESK AND OFFICE RUNS. THEY WERE UNHELPFUL AND DID NOT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT ANYTHING APART FROM TAKING MY APPOINTMENT AWAY FROM ME.
DISGUSTING TREATMENT OF PATIENTS. PRE WARING TO ALL THOSE WHO WANT TO GO THIS PLACE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO GO.

Dr. Lucas saved my life.
I had suffered with chronic urinary troubles and lower back pain for over a year, and my quality of life had been severely affected. I was utterly miserable. Urologists diagnosed me with prostatitis, but when none of their medications worked, I was sent to Dr. Lucas for acupuncture and herbal treatments.
Not only did the acupuncture immediately give me relief, Dr. Lucas was able to observe my symptoms and refer me to another doctor who cured me. She is warm, caring, and intelligent. She helped me take my life back, and for that, I’ll always be grateful.

Victoria has a clean clinic that always smells good! Calming music and not too cold/​hot. She seems very professional yet friendly and charming.
The massage therapeutic treatments are amazing and I have only nice things to say about the staff.
The secretary is friendly and flexible, which I try not to take advantage of more than when needed.

I was in LA suffering the worst tear-​inducing, table pounding, put-​me-​out-​of-​my-​misery lower-​back pain. I called Dr. Lucas’s (I’d seen her before a couple of years ago for similar problem) to BEG for an appointment. She was booked, so…
The sweetheart stayed late to fit me in! Who does that anymore? People who actually care you’re in pain — that’s who.
She didn’t hurry the appt., even after she had a packed day. I got the full five-​star Dr Lucas treatment: 1) warm, relax & stretch muscles, 2) reduce inflammation, 3) put your vertebrae back where they are supposed to be, and 4) a plan to avoid back problems in the first place. She does this with soothing, modern combination of East (massage, acupuncture) meets West (electrical currents, exercise and nutrition) techniques — approaching pain management from all angles.
