So to get things started I am the type of person that never really leaves any Unilocal reviews. (Even had to reset my password since it has been that long that I logged on)
Pros.

3. Great doctors (I got Dr Garcia and he was amazing!!)

First of all, let me say I hate going to dentists! Just never my thing… but my friend Leiman told me about how much they love their new dentist, so I thought to give it a try, since I am totally overdue for my teeth cleaning after 2 pregnancies!
But after I came here to see them, I was amazed at how modern everything is at this place, Dr. Garcia was super nice, and I had already a few super great «none torturing» teeth cleaning experiences here so far, that I even told my husband to switch from his current dentist, and we also brought our daughter here for her first dental exam!
You might think it’s funny, but with the wonderful smelling Voluspa candles they put there, with Netflix TV & movies to watch, or music to listen to… It really helps to make my usual discomfort of going to see dentist melts away!
If you live in the Westside and are unhappy with your current dentist, you definitely need to check Vision Dental out!

Vision Dental is the best! The office is beautiful, modern, and clean and they have an amazing friendly staff up front that makes you feel super welcome like you’re part of thier family.
I’ve had the pleasure in having Christine and Reasa as my hygienists for my cleanings. My past experiences with other dental offices in cleanings was always nerve-​racking and super painful. With both the ladies I mentioned above, they made you feel super comfortable and they were gentle yet thorough. They also have tv’s in each of the rooms to keep your mind off of whatever they’re doing
In addition, Dr William Cheng is awesome! He’s also very precise in all things he does and he explains everything in detail. I had a very sensitive tooth that a previous dentist cracked and he was able to take care of that for me by using some sort of gel that protected the tooth.

I went to Vision Dental based of the reviews I read from Unilocal and I am glad that I went. Not only was the team very friendly and professional, but Dr. Garcia took the time to go through all the concerns I had regarding my teeth and even gave me great suggestions on how to keep them healthier. Definitely will be making this my regular go to for all my teeth needs.

We moved to westside from veally. I read Unilocal reviews and made appointment.
Dentist reviewed my X-​rays, surpricing he did not offer me any unnecessary treatment. I was very impressed when i heard that. I visited over 5 dentistry in LA. these one was the best.
Very professional, high quality of staff and clean dentistry.
Dental hygentist, took her time to clean my teeth. I was happy with my treatments.
Dentist looks young and he recently opened up dentistry. their afford was the best, high quality of services. My best wishes to them. I highly recommend Vision Dental.

First off, I began a relationship with the front desk over the phone before even coming to the office. Every single staff member I spoke with over the phone was exceptionally great.
Mike stood out because I personally felt he went above and beyond to get in contact with my insurance company and laid out all the very closely estimated costs so I knew what to expect before coming in. He even mentioned that my insurance would pay more if I went with an office that my insurance was contracted with. Now, that’s honest. (The other girls went out of their way to take time to call my insurance as well, but mike was most detailed)
Dr. Garcia was my dentist. He was easy going. Introduced himself and opened the conversation by asking what I came in for. He was all ears and listened to everything I said. He even read my chart (more than half the time doctors and dentists never read the million pages of paper work they make you fill out)
I Unilocaled this place and even though it was a 2 hour drive for me, it was well worth it. I read that they were honest and I believe it now. Dr. Garcia, I felt did not cheat me but was looking out for me, my teeth, and my financial costs. He was honest and treated me for exactly what was essential. He was very educational and knowledgeable. I threw at him a couple questions I was honestly wanting too know and he fired back with all great answers even backed by research.
My hygienist, Christina, was great. Very friendly and honest as well. She even stayed on top of suctioning. One thing I really dislike about going to the dentist is swallowing whatever product they are using or the buildup that they cleaned off my teeth. She kept my mouth dry. I’ve only been to two dentist offices but this has been my best experience with cleaning. She didn’t even need an assistant.
This office is full of smiles and courteousness. I would highly recommend this place, and am definitely bringing my family here. My parking was validated too. Santa Monica is known for parking tickets or paying an arm and a leg for parking. Helps that they make it not an issue here. Left with a very positive impression. Seems like this office truly wants people to be happy with their teeth, not merely to make money off their clients. It shows through their staff. How the practitioners practice and train their staff will show by how the staff treat the clients.

Brought my child in for his very first dental appointment and was impressed with the facility, the expertise, and the friendly service. I scheduled an appointment immediately for my wife and I. I just got out of an appointment over the weekend and got my caffeine stained teeth nice and clean! I’m not a big fan of going to the dentist in general but Dr. Garcia and his team makes it very smooth and easy to come in and out with very little hassle. My appointment including filling out a first time form, visual inspection, and teeth cleaning only took an hour total since I didn’t even have to wait a minute to get taken care of.
I went to the dentist a few months ago and they were known for being cheap and good but they were too aggressive on getting things done on my teeth that I didn’t need. This place combines a very high level of quality and value. They really try to take care of not only your teeth, but also our budget. I was worried, since I don’t have dental insurance, but they helped consult me on how to best take care of my family and now I’m excited to find a place where my family and I are comfortable coming back for years.

My husband and I were looking for a dentist in our area. Luckily we found Vision Dental on Unilocal,it had amazing reviews so we decided to check it out. The entire process, from checking insurance coverage to making an appointment, the waiting time and the actual procedure was great! The staff were really friendly and professional, especially Dr. Garcia and Rachel. I typically hate visits to the dentist but this time I felt really comfortable the entire time and I am not dreading going back again. The office itself is really clean and nice. We are definitely going back here and highly recommend Dr. Garcia.

I went to another dentist on the Westside and frankly I was not impressed. In fact, I feel the dentist did procedures I did not need and I paid for it not only financially but physically.
I found Vision Dental through Unilocal and I made an appointment with Dr. Garcia. First of all, the turn-​around time was incredible. They set me up with an appointment with the time/​day I needed, I had to jump through hoops with my other dentist.
I arrived, the receptionist was very kind and welcoming. The place is modern, beautifully bright, new chairs and equipment. Compared to my other dentist, which felt like a scene out of the torture chamber from Game of Thrones.
I literally had no wait, I just filled out paper work and I was in the chair. As I sat down Rachel, the dental assistant, came in and she was very kind and sweet, explained some things and then Dr. Garcia came over. And he gave me a thorough exam, I think we were talking for over 45 minutes about my teeth, options and he was very informative, very kind and very patient.
Rachel took some X-​rays and Dr. Garcia himself did the thorough cleaning and Rachel did the polishing. Everything was truly remarkable.
I went back for another procedure and again, there was literally no wait. At my previous dentist I had regular waits of 15 – 20 minutes before I could see anyone and then I would sit in the chair for another 15 – 20 minutes. But Vision Dental really knows what they are doing. They are very professional, very courteous and very kind and fun! Not only that when Dr. Garcia administered the anesthesia I didn’t even feel the needle!!! I was literally shocked! He did the work and we were finished! I asked him if he finished everything and he said yes, and I didn’t have a heavy face or lip and I literally went on with the rest of my day.
If you’re thinking about a dentist give them a try — you won’t be disappointed!
The front staff the doctors, the assistants are all amazing. I’m hazy on all the names but thank you to Rachel, Dr. Garcia, Elizabeth, Mike and I forgot the last name (I was on drugs while leaving!) :)

This place makes my last dentist feel like it was the 80s. Vision is really modern, clean, easy.

Wow! This place is simply incredible. Dentists are a dime a dozen in LA and I still feel like its ridiculously hard to find a good one. This group is hands down amazing. Prices are fair considering how nice the office is and how great the service is.
Definitely would highly recommend them.

I discovered this office through a referral and I have to say, it doesn’t disappoint!
I made an appointment a week in advance for a cleaning and filling with Dr. Andrew Huynh (pediatric dentist). I arrived 20 – 30 minutes before my appointment to check-​in and fill out paperwork (as I was instructed to do so when I made my appointment). The office looked really nice and chic! I was in by my appointment time and Dr. Andrew did my cleaning, filling, and a sealant once he saw my x-​rays. It was completely painless and I was comfortable the whole time (so rare for a visit to the dentist…).
I’m definitely going to thank my friend for the referral and would highly recommend to my friends and others!

There is a clear reason why this dentist has and maintains 5 star ratings from everyone.
I was terrified of dentists but coming to vision has changed my perspective. Dr. Garcia and the staffs are not only friendly, professional, and knowledgable, but they are the most skilled set of people I met. Rather than just getting into treatment, doctor explains every procedure and kept me engaged. Also, the ambiance makes you feel at home.
If you are looking for a dentist with excellent care and reasonable price, check this place out! You wont regret it.

Vision Dental, and specifically, Dr. Garcia, came very highly recommended to me by a friend who is also a dentist. Now I see why!
This office is immaculate, the staff incredibly friendly, and my appointment was great. Dental work can be so jarring but I really felt that I was in good hands with Dr. Garcia and that made all the difference for me. He provided me with options and costs in an honest manner and even went through the trouble of explaining the medical benefits of each in a way I could understand.

What can I say about this place!!? I am always a bit nervous when it comes to going to the dentist as many people are. But the hygienist Christine was super gentle and catered to all of my worries and made sure I was comfortable the whole time! At the end Dr. Garcia checked my teeth and made sure I didn’t have any cavities etc. One of the best dentists I have ever been to! Super cool guy!
Not to mention they have free parking in the back of the office which is a huge plus in LA.

I developed terrible tooth pain, and Vision Dental said I could come right in. I saw Dr. Garcia, who is the gentlest dentist I’ve ever gone to. Turned out my tooth was cracked way high up (he showed me the x-​ray), and he put off a meeting to do the extraction, which was amazingly painless and non-​jarring. He listened to some of my unusual concerns and was happy to accommodate them. Probably the best major dental experience I’ve had in my life.
Everyone in the office was very kind and supportive, the office is clean, open and the light colors look and feel professional. And we found parking right outside!
I’ll be going back in a week, and expect to continue with Dr. Garcia and Vision Dental.

Update: these guys saw my Unilocal!review and called me immediately to correct the billing confusion. Awesome team over there.
Since moving to LA last year, I’ve needed to find a new dentist. I live in West Hollywood, so I was looking around there, but this office was recommended to me by a coworker so I thought I’d give it a try. Email communication was prompt and I received a text message confirmation the day before. Worth the drive AND free parking in the back!
The office is in a shiny, new multi-​office building shared with Chase bank. The interior is polished looking with lots of light and glass (no dingy corridors and horrible drop ceilings). The front desk girl was very sharp and friendly, as was Dr. Garcia and his assistant.
The Dr. was friendly and talkative (and handsome, hello. I felt bad he had to clean my teeth). There was a huge flatscreen TV above my chair so I could watch TV if I wanted to. Dr. Garcia went through my xrays with me step by step, explaining everything he was looking at. Later, when he was cleaning my teeth he referred back to the things he mentioned, ie. «the tooth I’m on now is the one we looked at on your xray…» I though it was very informative.
I talked to him about where I wanted to be with my smile and about Invisalign. I think I will start the process on my next visit in 6 months. Later, when his assistant came in she asked, «Did I hear you talking to Dr. Garcia about Invisalign? He’s doing mine.» And she showed me her smile and her trays. I thought it was so nice and personable.
I have Preferred insurance and it covered about half of it (consult, cleaning, new patient xrays). I ended up paying about $ 185 out of pocket. My only concern is that he said they would do a limited amount of xrays and I could have my old office send over my previous complete set of xrays. However, I think I got charged for the full set. I didn’t notice at the time and now I’m not sure what to do. I’m sure it was just an accident.
Overall, great experience! I will be back in 6 months.

I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. I don’t know how they pack so much awesome into this little office, but it blew me away!
They have the newest technology available (a bold statement when referring to a rapidly changing industry). They have the coolest amenities (Big TVs, Netflix, video games). They have an awesome interior décor (clean, new, metal/​wood/​glass with the best view of SaMo Blvd and the Mormon Temple).
They have the best Doctors. All recently UCLA-​trained folks, great at what they do. I would trust any of them with my smile: D

Wow! This place is very comforting for a dental office. Very clean and modern! I also liked having the option to watch TV as I waited for my dentist. Dr. Cheng was referred to me by my sister and he did a very thorough cleaning and «lasered» away my deep gum cavity. When I heard the word LASER I immediately tensed up but Dr. Cheng assured that it is completely pain free. Thank God it was painless! Check this place out if you’re looking for a great dental office on the Westside.
