WallyPark – Premier Garage

Love that car wash. They said it’s waterless. Very nice valet folks as well.

I reserved and paid for parking and full detailing package. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was informed it hadn’t been cleaned, but no one could tell me why. The manager I spoke with could not have cared less. I then requested a refund and revised receipt and was told by the desk clerk that she couldn’t do that and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager I had just spoken to. What would the point of that be? She also informed me that my reservation confirmation was my receipt.
Later in the day I phoned the garage and spoke with a different manager who was very apologetic and seemingly wanted to help. He told me that a refund and revised invoice/​receipt would be processed right away.
Now a week later, no refund has been made to my credit card. No one has returned my numerous phone calls or emails; the phone calls seemingly only reach full voicemail boxes, but I did manage to reach two.
I’m done, as are many people with whom I work as it seems the service here has steadily declined over the past year or so.
UPDATE: a refund for the price of the detailing was applied to my credit card, but curiously NOT the tax of $ 14.00. What ineptitude!

I’ve been using WallyPark for over 25 years. But, alas, I think it’s time for a change. After a long day of traveling, we were anxious to get to our car. We waited 20 minutes before even sighting a WallyPark shuttle, only to be sadly disappointed when the shuttle zoomed right past the pick up location without so much as a honk of apology. Another 10 full minutes went by before we were finally picked up. No apology; no discount. It’s time to find another parking favorite. There are plenty in the area. It never used to be this way.

Been using this place for years for both personal and business trips. I flew back from Maui on Monday after getting my suitcase called them and asked about the shuttle. Told it was on the way…30 muns later no shuttle called again. again was told it was on the way… waited 15 mins still no shuttle… Called again this time was told… It’s just leaving… So someone lied to me saying that it was on the way. Again waited another 15 mins stiil no shuttle. Called again same lie… Ot finally arrives 1hr and 5 mins later. Once I got to. the lot the surpervisor was there he apoligizes, sating he was short staff… Guess what I DONT CARE you’re a business… Act like a business you should always be prepared… Was told to call in the morning to speak with the managers. Called left 3 messages on Tuesday ⁶⁄₇ and today ⁶⁄₁₀ still no return call… WOW customer service… Or should I say lack of @WallyPark

I have never written a negative review before on Unilocal.First, I waited 40 minutes for a shuttle, during which time I called them 4 times. By the time the shuttle arrived, there were so many people waiting for it that I would not have gotten on if not for people hearing me on the phone complaining to them about how long I had been waiting. Even after that, I would not have been angry enough to write a negative review. But then I followed the signs to the exit, and there was no one at the window to raise the exit bar. I had to call again to get someone to come to the window. They had to get two different people before they could open the gate. I could have commuted from Long Island to Manhattan and taken a taxi to Broadway in the time it took me just to get my car.

Wally Park is fine… I just feel like it might be easier, faster and cheaper to über/​lyft if you live within 20 miles of LAX.
The problem with Wally Park is that its not super quick. I don’t know about you, but I want to get out of the airport ASAP, especially LAX. Even if you do valet or express, you still have to wait to get on a shuttle, you have to wait to make several stops and then when you return you have to call for them and wait about 10 – 15 minutes to pick you up, make several stops and when you get back to the facility you then stand in line to pay. All the waiting probably adds about 30 – 40 minutes to each end of your trip. That’s how long it takes me to get home.
Also, its about $ 100 to park for 4 days but it only costs about $ 35 each way to über.
Wally Park is good if you live far and have a quick trip, otherwise its just another line at LAX. No thanks.

So, I had never parked at Wally Park before, but my BF has been a long time customer. Going for a long weekend from LAX to NYC I needed a place to park. Oh, and a place to wash my car… I was told my front window was «seasoned» aka dirty lol. So, we ended up here.
Be aware there are two different locations… The Express and Premier location.
:PRO:
They did a great job washing my car. Its really nice to come back to a clean car yay. All of the welcoming staff were really efficient and prompt. Its a really nice facility as well.
:CON:
When we arrived back from our trip we called Wally Park to be picked up. Waiting in the appropriate pick up location…40 minutes passed. Yes, 40 minutes. You know what else passed, EVERY OTHER PARKING SHUTTLE. Every one but Wally Park… Premier, don’t forget this is Premier.
Then one Wally Shuttle passed. Did it pull over to pick anyone up? NO. It didn’t.
Then another came by, and also didn’t pick anyone up… and said another one was coming. The shuttle arrives and didn’t want to let us on. But, by then I had it and forced myself on the bus and wasn’t getting off. On the other side of the airport people were waving the Wally Park Bus down.
I’ve NEVER waited that long to be picked up from an airport. Especially with their prices. Never again. I’ll go with The Parking Spot.

I had to review to warn others. I parked there a few weeks ago and the workers swapped out my wheels. Didn’t notice because it was dark Nd I have stock wheels. I only knew because we were just looking at them to rotate them. I contacted them but got no response. I would just stay away.

Exceptionally slow service. Waited over 40 minutes for a shuttle to pick us up, only to wait in the check out line to exit the structure for another 30 minutes.
My advice, try another parking service.

The price for rooftop parking was just raised. AND they no longer pick you and your luggage up if you park there.
Ummmm. Raise prices. Remove shuttle. Victor no longer parks here. (That’s ME. Victor :-)

Purchased a groupon deal for parking and am so pleased with the whole service. Was worried I would have to wait along time for a shuttle but to and from the airport the shuttle wait was less than 5 minutes!
I drove in and pulled into the valet section. the rep offered an oil changed or car wash while my car was parked in the garage. If there wasn’t rain in the forecast for the next day, I would have paid for a car wash. I got to my southwest terminal in less than 10 minutes. When I arrived, they said to wait under the red sign that says «hotel courtesy shuttle» and less than 5 minutes the Wally park black shuttle arrived. (there’s also a Wally park express shuttle so be careful. I’m told they go to different lots)
I didn’t know you could tell the driver your ticket # and they will pull your car into the lot before you arrive back at the garage. Once I got to garage, I stepped inside and proceeded to pay. I had to pay the city tax which was $ 2. So with the groupon deal, valet parking for 1 day was 50%!
they also offer water bottles for your drive home.
Great service! Will use again if I need to park and leave my car at LAX again.

Used the express WallyPark by LAX. Simple, quick, and shuttle picked us easily 5 minutes after we got our bags in Terminal 7. Getting out of the lot afterwards is a breeze, which is nice when all you want to do is drive out of the mess of LAX (and you can avoid doing so via creative side-​streets from Sepulveda Blvd.).
Will use again, thank you WallyPark.

I have used Wally Park LAX 9700 Bellanca Ave Los Angeles, CA 90 045 for many years, until now. I parked there a week ago, I always use Valet. I have a black BMW, that I keep immaculate and they let water drip on the top of my car, obviously a roof leak in the garage, (which I’m sure they know about). These were big water/​mineral spots were on the passenger side, so I didn’t see it as I left, it was night time. I had to detail the car heavily to remove these knarly water/​mineral spots. I feel lucky the spots could be removed, they sometimes won’t remove completely. What’s the point of covered parking if you get grimey mineral water on your car?! I tried to call the management 8 times the following day, no response, got transferred to phones never answered. The management are impossible to reach and don’t care about customer satisfaction at all. By the way, I generously tip the valet guy at drop off, the van guy to the airport, the van guy returning, the valet at the other end which makes this occurence even worse. This kind of treatment has finished me off on WP, I can’t trust them. After reading the other reviews, I guess I’m lucky to not have had worse.
Another factor is the wait for pick up at the airport. As others have said, I waited 20 – 25 minutes at the airport while watching other parking service vans pass by every few minutes. There are major negative changes that have occured at WP. Really disappointing.

Wow. Bad. I’ve been coming here for a while, but will seek a new place to park effective immediately.
I just discovered fraudulent charges to my credit card from WallyPark. They charged my corporate credit card at the facility when I picked up my car and then charged my personal American Express, the account information for which is stored in my VIP account with them, separately for entirely different amounts that don’t actually correspond to dates I’ve parked there. I am currently disputing the charges with AmEx, but so far the WallyPark folks, whom I contacted first, have been completely unresponsive.
This on top of some really inexcusable services recently. On my last trip, I paid WallyPark for an interior and exterior car wash and they never even touched the inside of my car. On a previous trip, they broke my rear-​view mirror when they washed the car, and left the broken part in my car, tucked out of sight, without saying a word about it.
I consistently tip their personnel when I valet my car and have parked here at least once a month for the past several years. I find their office staff rude and abrupt and inefficient at checking out customers.
Done. I’ll find another parking facility at LAX. Bye, WallyPark.

On numerous occasions I’ve left my car overnight at various LAX parking garages. This time I decided I’d try the valet service at WallyPark’s Premier Garage. The main reason being, it already sucks that no one is willing to drop you at the airport. Am I right? Then with self-​service garages you either end up on the top floor or out in the wilderness of some huge lot, running to catch a courtesy shuttle, watching the chances of making your flight dwindle to zero.
I drove into the Première Garage valet area and within a short period of time attendants were there to assist. My car was several months overdue for a car wash so I also decided to add the car wash service. I dropped off my keys, turned from the attendant and the shuttle driver was right there ready to get me to the terminal. There just isn’t anything that I can complain about.
Upon returning to the airport, I called for a shuttle, they confirmed that I had used the valet service and within 10 minutes the shuttle had arrived. Back at the garage my service agent Dilshau Don had my car waiting looking showroom clean. There was even a nice cold bottle of water waiting in the cup holder.
I don’t like to over exaggerate especially considering it’s «just» a parking garage. But it was a great experience! I’d do it again without a second thought, especially considering that the price is not that much higher than the regular self-​park service. As long as your trip doesn’t exceed more than a few days the price to service ratio is, I believe, very reasonable. Give it a shot!

Customer service is poor and management is inattentive.
It took over 45 minutes to be picked up at the airport. After I was picked up, the shuttle driver was rude and would give attitudes to the passengers. The entire shuttle bus could not wait to get away from the unfriendly shuttle driver.
Stay away from this service unless you want to be in a poor mood after your wonderful vacation.

Stay away! We have been parking at Wally Park for 20+ years. They charge your credit card at reservation time!!! You do not get your AAA discount! I called management and they never called back! New management who do not care and more expensive. STAY AWAY!!!
Try this website. I was weary at first but it worked! The service is fantastic!!! We are now valet parking a couple of blocks down the street even closer to the airport at QuikPark for way LESS!!!
Good bye Wally Park who has horrible van service too!

BEWARE NEW MANAGEMENT — POOR SERVICE
I have used Wally Park for years, but no more. They have reduced the number of shuttles which increases waiting times to be picked up.
The driver did not help me with my luggage. When I provided my self-​park space number, I was told, «NEW Management doesn’t allow us to drive you to your space anymore. Take the elevator. Call and complain if you don’t like it.»
Well, there are many other options for me, so I will avoid Wally Park going forward. The Spot had at least 10 shuttles stop at Terminal 1 while I waited for my slow poke driver who seemed to care less.
The customer service stinks.

The basics, I spend about 75% of my time traveling and have used WallyPark for years. I get my car fully detailed at least once a month. I park my two Audi’s in their Valet in the hopes it will be taken care of. I literally spend thousands of dollars a year at Wally Park.
But my experience on January 31, 2015 will ensure I never go back.
Given my loyalty to Wally, I’d like to think they would do anything to keep me. But after returning from a long trip, I found that my inside rear view mirror mounting had been damaged and someone tried to cover it up by jamming it back on.
Literally the second I pulled out of their gate, it completely dropped off. This just doesn’t happen — especially if you’re like me and take very good care of your cars. I looped around and came back in, irate and asking for a manager.
Their response: It’s not my problem (directly from the mouth of the manager). I indicated that I was a good customer and would like it fixed or at least remove to detailing charges from my bill. His response again in the most pompous and condescending way that it’s not his problem and he doesn’t care. At this point all the employees were grouping around me and laughing at me (I was visibly upset).
I stormed out of there, never to return. They took no accountability and do not care for their customers.

BF and I got the groupon for valet parking.
We were in and out in no time at all. Car was ready right when we got there. Would definitely use them again
