I am so happy with my eyes! I am 44 years old and had under eye bags for years that made me look constantly tired and older. I did a lot of research and visited different doctors but I was not comfortable with any of them until I met Dr. Ho. So, I decided to go for it, and did the lower blepharoplasty surgery. A week later, I am ecstatic with the results! I am so thankful to the Koreatown Wave Center staff, consultants, nurses, and doctors. They are ALL the BEST– very professional, patient, and CARING. That was very important to me since I was hesitant to get cosmetic surgery on my eyes, but Dr. Ho and her team are great, and I have no regrets. In fact, it went so well that I’m now considering getting Kybella. Haha. We’ll see… However, one thing is for sure… I had a great experience and I highly recommend Wave!

I am 37 year old and all my life I had very uneven, thick fatty eyelids and it was getting worse and worse as I was getting older. I always wanted to get the blepharoplasty done but I was scared of side effects and it also costs $$$. Then when I realized I look much older for my age, I finally decided to go for consultation as family and friends were recommending Wave Plastic Surgery and met Emily (consultant) who was very honest and helpful. I was able to meet Dr. Ho and Dr. Lee on the same day I went for consultation for professional opinions and they both agreed that I need both ptosis correction and anti-​aging blepharoplasty. And the cost of the surgery was not as expensive as I expected it to be so I decided to get it done with Dr. Ho.
She has the magic hands that made miracles to my eyes. It has been 1 month and I had so any compliments! The surgery was not painful and all nurses were very friendly. My eyes did not swell up much and had no bruises so I went back to work the next day after removing the threads. Thanks to Dr. Ho and the amazing team at Wave Plastic Surgery, I look so much younger I regret that I did not get this earlier! Highly Recommended!

I searched a lot of review (not only Unilocal) and then decided this WAVE. The consultant staff Emily was helpful, responded quick even she gave me her personal cell phone number to process my pre-​test. Everytime I went there, all staff and nurse were nice and very helpful. Especially Dr. Goretti Ho was very patient, honest and professional. She understood what I want and really care about what result would be.
I was very satisfied with the result and it was a great choice to come WAVE.
One problem was… Parking was only validated for the first hour.

I am so glad I had double eyelid surgery with Dr Ho. Shes a professional and honest doctor. She knows how to make your eyes beautiful. She is honest and professional. The surgery I had last week went successfully and I’m already seeing my eyes turn prettier each day.

Dr. Lee has very good eyes. He understands your needs and adds on his professional judgement. Natural and beautiful results. All the staffs and nurses are extremely nice, considerate, and beautiful! Very happy with the results.

I am so happy that i found this place. I have been looking for best surgery hospital for long time. I have done my eyelid surgery in other hospital but i saw Dr Ho at Wave plastic surgery and she really done excellent job to fix my eyelid surgery which has done 3 years ago. After all if i need fat transfer or any other surgery i always see Dr. Ho

First time I went there, their consultant was really unprofessional and rude. Later someone called and apologized sincerely so I went back and brought them friends as their new customers. However, their price is very screwy. For the same procedure, they tried to charge me at the different /​25% higher price than my friend’s and they tried to give me all kinds of fake stories to cover up. I paid what the front desk nurse told me to pay verbally without an itemized bill. I asked for an itemized bill for the $ 870 I spent there, the nurse went back to «look for it» and left me waiting outside for a long time. I had to leave without the bill. This is really shady and unprofessional. Charging different people with difference price is really hard to accept as well. Will never go back. I am going to check with the medical board to see if a patient is entitled to have an itemized bill.

I went in for facial fillers and botox injections today. The front desk was great in accomadating last min changes in my scheduling. The Doctor was comforting and recomended the optimal amount of injections and went through all the alternative products and pricing so I could choose. Best of all I have no brusing on my face thanks to the Doctor’s skills.

I really love Alexis chung’s treatments and result of filler and botox everytime~. I really satisfied her filler skills and she makes me look younger~! Also she explains everything very kindly that I ask. So I could get treatment in very secure and trust. She is the best that I have known. I really recommend her to get filler and botox. This is the three times to get filler and botox from her, and really happy to get treatment from her. After three-​four months later I would come again to touch up.

I love getting my cosmetic needs taken care of at Wave. All the staff is warm and friendly. I get first class service with a smile! Nice office, too. Amanda & Alexis make a great duo. Definitely, recommend it, plus parking is convenient and only $.75 for 3 hours! You can’t beat that!

I’ve been wanting to get breast implants since college. I was always afraid that they would look too unnatural. I finally got the courage to go through with the surgery after I went in for a consultation at Wave Plastic Surgery. Michelle was very helpful in explaining the different methods for breast aug and the different types of implants. It’s been almost 6 months since my surgery, and I love how natural my breasts look right now. Surprisingly, the recovery time was much quicker than I expected and not too uncomfortable. Would recommend this place to my friends. :)

If I can give them 0 stars I would. I went in for Ultherapy and the nurse who usually does this treatment was out so they had a doctor substitute. I figured since he was a Dr, what’s the harm? During the procedure, I felt like my face was on fire and since they said it can be quite painful I thought it was normal. Well, I have scars on my face and they took no responsibility. I paid over $ 500 at another place to try to remove the scar and it’s still there. I complained to Wave and they didn’t want to give me any refund or anything as close to an apology. They treated me as if it was my fault. WTF!!! So I paid them $ 1000’s of dollars to scar my face without an apology or them trying to make up for what they did to me!!! PLEASE do not come here if you want to be treated correctly. I wouldn’t have my worst enemy go through what I went through. Stay away from this place!!!

i seriously do NOT recommend Dr. Peter Lee to perform any incision-​based facial operation especially blepharoplasty
I had a some bluish dark veins under my eyes that made it look dark under my left eye, so I had a consultation with a staff consultant named Kris.
She recommended lower bleph, so i had that in December of 2012.
As a result of the surgery, it made BOTH corner of my eyes even darker.
My right one was fine, but Kris told me I should do the right one as well… which was a big mistake
it was hard to accept the fact that i spent a lot of money for a surgery that made me look alot worse.
i tried my best to be patient with Dr. peter lee, hoping that he might have some sort of a plan to overcome this problem
however, in his follow ups, he had a dismissive, indifferent, cynical, prideful attitude towards me.
as time went by, he started being more distant and careless, and I started to lose hope of what he could do to fix his own mistake that I have to bear for the rest of my life.
the mistake was that he did not carefully assess my needs before the operation, and went ahead and performed a counter productive operation
as an uninformed patient, i can only trust that the doctor, who is a professional in his expertise,
to examine his patients accurately and to weigh the possible risks and benefits of having the operation,
and if benefits outweighs the risks, the operation should have been recommended
however, he did not explain to me the risks i could face, and the outcome i can expect from having the surgery
i fully trusted in him before going in to the operation that he would help my problem
before the surgery he made it sound so easy, recovery time is 3 weeks and i should be fine
however, its approaching almost 3 years, and i still dread to show my face in public, because of all the things that went wrong in this transaction
since it has been a long time, i am starting to believe that this scar he had caused is something i have to live with until i die
he would never agree with me on the fact that the surgery was counter-​productive due to his ego
i had so many things to tell him, so i took some time to put my thoughts together in several letters, but he wouldn’t read them
so i had to read it to him in person, but he started to play with his phone and continued to show indifference which i found extremely unprofessional
i am the one that looks at myself in the mirror everyday, and i should know the best of before and after results, not anybody else
but dr lee kept saying what i see is subjective and denied to the very end that the surgery was counter productive
i remember him examining me pre-​op for 5 minutes… and telling me i will look better, and made the process sound so simple,
but after the surgery, he started becoming distant and careless.
so take my first hand advice and don’t let him operate on you.
because he has already ruined my life, and no one else deserves to go through what i had to go through

They’ve revamped their front desk and taken effort to turn things around and I have to give them credit for that. Check out their laser treatment– I see Dr. Goretti Ho. She knows what a woman needs as she is a woman herself. Will update more later.

I tried workingout and followed strict diet, but the lower stomach area just won’t budge.
It made me do many things that made me very stressful and depressed… So i decided to do the liposuction.
I went to the clinics in bevery hills and other clinics around LA county area, but Wave, s Dr. Jonathan shifren gave me the most straight forward and honest answer to my problem.
He was known for body surgery when i searched online. so after few days, I called to schedule the surgery.
It was called Smart lipo and i did my lower stomach .
It has been 2 months and i am completery healed, but they are keep asking me to come back to check on me if everything is ok. I am a little bothered, but at the same time, I am glad that they are putting extra care on me. I am also very happy with the result.

was so crowded when i first went to talk with Dr. jonathan and i had no place to park in the building.
On the surgury day though, it was easy to find parking. probably because the surgery was early in the morning.

I was hesitant to write a review here because it’s such a discreet
thing to talk publicly about in my community. I was a customer here
since May of 2014 for breast surgery. At the very first consultation, I
wasn’t able to meet the doctors, who I wanted to talk to. Instead, I
was consulted with a consultant. She went through all the information
about breast surgeries including the risks and what to watch out for.
She also gave me the promotion discount for the surgery and it was
actually affordable in my position. I was also put in a schedule for
the next appointment to see the doctor in 2 weeks so I can think about
actually doing the surgery or not. She also told me that just because I
am meeting the doctor for consultation, I don’t have to be set on doing
the surgery. What she told me made me much more comfortable because I
thought they would push me doing the surgery.
At the second visit for the consultation with the doctor, I decided on
my own will that I will do the surgery on my first week of summer break.
The doctor recommended me the gummy implant at the size of 300cc, and
showed me the actual implant so that I could visualize better for how my
breast would look like after the surgery. I was also shown with the
past surgeries of similar cases that people have done in this place.
Some of the people of same size implant looked different, but I guess
it’s probably because the body type and size differ from each
individual.
So after 2 month later, my summer break began and I got my surgery. I
was very swollen a day after the surgery and my breasts were… pointing
front, but the doctor told me that it’s because my breasts were swollen
at first and they will start to adjust to my body within about 2 weeks
to 2 months at the latest for me. Luckily, the swollen went away within
the first week and I could see that my breasts were looking more and
more natural each day.
It has been about 6 months now and I was here for my final check up
with the doctor. I told the doctor that my breast looked very natural
after 2 months and felt like real. The scar was very minimum and it was
almost not visible because it was at the place where my breast would
fold from the rib cage. I was also given my final medication that day
and I felt good about my decision doing the surgery here.

I’ve been receiving Botox treatments for past 13 years, which includes about 4 treatments per year. In the past I’ve always gone to the same doctor in Beverly Hills. It was always tricky making appointments, waiting for the doctor in the waiting room, then the exam room, and then the pain and recovery after the treatment since he did not use ice and numbing cream… Plus it was expensive.
That’s were my friend Sam suggested I call Michelle at WAVE. He had just completed a coolsculpting procedure and liked the environment and the process of education on the procedure. I figured I should also see if coolsculpting was for me.
When I met with Michelle she informed me that it would not be effective on my body type (I guess I was not fat enough). I appreciated her honesty and professionalism. So in the same meeting I asked about Botox and Voluma. I felt so comfortable there after meeting the doctor and viewing the clean exam rooms I went ahead with both procedures that day.
Michelle was patience while I asked a ton of questions and the pricing was less then my Beverly Hills doctor. This was my first time using Voluma so I was concerned about the results. They suggested I go with just ½ of the full treatment to see how I liked it.
Well needless to say, I’ve gone back a total of 4 times now and recently referred my friend Adam who also did Botox for the first time. He’s texted me back the same day and said it was a very pleasant experience.
They always have ice and numbing cream for the treatment areas so I did not really feel any pain at all. In addition, there’s really no waiting around, parking fees are less then $ 1.00 and they also take Saturday appointments.

BEST RESULT!!!
If you have a aging problem or need of any dermatologic treatment, this is the best place to go.
