Wells Fargo Bank

I regularly deposit checks there and never had any problems. The clerks are very courteous and polite. The only downside is that they are TOO polite and greet you multiple times on your way in and your way out. I just want to come in, deposit the checks and leave. I do not want to chit chat, discuss weather, weekend plans, etc.

HORRIBLE customer service. I called once asking to purchase foreign currency and was placed on hold again for over 10 minutes before I hung up. I then called back and nobody picked up the phone. I tried again the next day and, after 2 minutes of ringing, somebody finally picked up the phone only to hang up on me as I was asking the question.
Can’t say how disappointed I am with their lack of customer service.

Amazing, Amazing, Amazing! Service. Hail Winston, Virgo! I must say I don’t just leave reviews for the hell of it on Unilocal.I am a very tactful and season’d Unilocaler. I tell no lies and get straight to the nitty gritty. I opened up an account with Mr. Virgo the other day and have to say he did a great job with making everything easy and quick. As a person who’s experienced so much with banks in the past, i’ve had my share of wanting to do any business with banks ever again. In fact, my own grandmother cautioned me against doing business with Wells Fargo due to a loan which was financed through them she had a bad experience with. Winston thoroughly explained what’s called the «Opportunity Checking and Savings» and at the end of the day it was a great program I refused to let pass. I even got a free cool gift piggy bank for doing business with this great bank! I’ll be sure to fill it with some coins :) I now feel excited to start over again with a new and prestigious bank and will continue to allow Winston to be my personal banker for all business and personal needs. Thanks Mr. Virgo for your outstanding service sir! I hope your boss or supervisor see’s this and recognizes your excellent experience your giving your customers because you deserve it my friend. Thanks Wells Fargo for employing such great staff at your locations! I’ll definitely recommend your services to future friends and family.

On Wednesday 2÷17÷15 I opened an account at this location with Mr. Winston Virgo the assistant manager. I must say he made the meeting a breeze. Ive banked with credit unions for a number of years and I was really aprehensive in opening an account at a traditonal bank. But, Mr. Virgo helped me out and provided lots of info and answered every question I had. We really need more folks like him in banks and other establishments. These days folks working in customer service aren’t providing a service worth prasing. Kudos to you Winston, you have restablished my trust in traditional banks.

I had a very bad experience at Wells Fargo in Westwood last week. I tried to deposit a large sum of money into my Wells Fargo checking and savings account. And I was greeted with a rude teller and manager that told me I was over the limit for a deposit. The branch manager rudely asked me to wait until her supervisor came into work to approve the deposit.
I sat there for 35 minutes in a chair waiting for the supervisor to arrive. Not one employee at the bank offered me water or even talked to me while I sat there waiting.
When the supervisor finally came, she was annoyed, and told me the deposit was too big, and that I would have to wait 7 business days for it to clear.
I have never seen such rude behavior at a business in all of my years in Southern California. The entire branch is in need of lessons on how to act towards customers. I will not be banking at Wells Fargo anymore.

I have had no prior issues with this bank; prompt transactions/​interactions with tellers but I have no choice except a 1-​star review right now.
After having my wallet stolen, I was given a temporary card and after having the permanent card mailed to the branch twice, I came in each time only to be told by Jason it is not there and to order it again.
I hope it’s not the case, but it seems to me as if being a college student with limited funds definitely does not qualify me for any kind of treatment with respect/​consideration, especially when dealing with a stolen wallet. I hope I didn’t waste too much of their time; I will be switching to Chase as soon as I can.

Everyone is always extremely nice and attentive. I especially like that there are always dumdum lollipops and waters for clients. It must be the kid in me. :).

The exterior is really clean, and it’s in a pretty safe part of westwood. The interior is really clean.
The entrance to the Wells Fargo is actually inside the office building.
My teller was really nice, friendly, and efficient. He even recommended direct deposit to me to get my checks cashed/​deposited quicker. Very helpful. I had an issue with my credit card that I needed checked and he did so without hassle and with a smile ok his face. I wish I remembered his name (he was a middle eastern looking man :]). Really great customer service. And as I left, every employee I passed by thanked me and told me to have a good day. You really can’t beat the customer service here. :]

I bank with Chase and WF. When dealing with business transactions, deposits, credit card processing, payroll, cashiers checks and a host of other services one most certainly needs a great bank! Both these banks are on Wilshire and are across from one another. There both large good banks that can essentially handle every personal and business service you need. They both charge about the same and both banks and all banks in the area solicit your business the same way. This is just my perspective having 2 retail establishments that process all the above mentioned services.
The difference folkes is the people. when your having a stressful day and you run into the bank and have a million errands to run their is nothing like being recognized and accommodated. All of the staff here do that but kudos to Lynnette she always remembers me and greets with a warm smile. She originally looked over my accounts and made the recommended modifications and changes. Basically she took care of me and obviously cares about my continued business at her branch on Wilshire Westwood. I really can’t say enough about her. It is employees like this that make all the difference. If you need business or personal banking go see her you won’t regret it. 5 stars easy on this one.

I’ve been banking here for years now, and it probably is because of the customer service. Everyone is super friendly, and goes out of their way to make sure you’re taken care of (i.e. greeted with a smile/​welcome, offered water/​tea).
One star is knocked off because its obvious that their lines are scripted. at the end of every transaction, the rep ends with asomething similar to «Thank you for choosing Wells Fargo, and it is my pleasure to go out of my way to assist you. Is there anything else I can help you with?» Although I appreciate the sentiment, when its scripted, it doesn’t feel as heartfelt.
anywho, I keep on returning, so it works for the most part. Thanks staff of WF!

they’re really helpful so long as you’re willing to open an account that you likely don’t need…

WF is a solid bank. You can pretty much take care of everything on-​line. Also you can set up this thing called «My ATM» that allows you to customize you ATM preference. I type in my pin, press one button, my cash spits out and I walk away. Sweet.
