Andrea Gillette has been a Swim Instructor since 2001 and opened Westside Swim Lessons in 2010. With a passion for teaching children and the patience to teach adults, Andrea can teach all ages and levels how to swim. Whether you want your child to become water safe or lessons for yourself, Andrea has the perfect teaching style that adapts to your specific aquatic needs.

In the 6 months since we started working with Westside, our son has turned into a fish. He was not able to swim at all when we started, and now (he is only 3) can tread water for almost a minute, can swim and float on his back, jump in and swim back to the side of the pool (and climb out) and is learning the crawl stroke. And what’s even better: he looks forward to his lessons. Andrea has an amazing way of pushing kids out of their comfort zone so they can learn without making them fearful. I would recommend WSL to anyone who is looking to teach their children to swim.
