Highly recommend this place for your dental needs they are flexible with payments and they are really gentle with you. just today I had some work done I’ll be coming in to finish it up soon, go ahead and give them a call but if you know you need some work done just go because they won’t be able to give you a price over the phone you won’t regret it

Dentist there are good but financial worker was very rude and disrespectful Treating clients as if they are ignorants is not a form of customer service. I do not appreciate someone whom isn’t considerate of customers especially when you’re trying to be as polite as possible to such disrespect. This is an area where many people need help understanding insurances and what it covers. They should hire someone who actually wants to help the customers from this area. Worst financial worker I have ever dealt with. There’s other ways of getting a message through instead of getting loud for everyone else to know your business.

This place has made me love my teeth again. Like many others, I avoided the dentist for a long time for various reasons, but I noticed some tartar buildup and talked myself into finding someplace for a cleaning. When I called they offered me an appointment incredibly soon! It turns out I had a slew of other problems, but I’m so glad it was them I came to in my time of need because honestly, had it been somewhere else, I would have just gotten my cleaning and been on my way. EVERYONE at this establishment is kind, friendly, and understanding. Every time I’ve had an appointment I’ve been seen fast and treated like a priority, which as a patient and client is extremely important. These are the good guys!

The staff is very friendly and make you feel very comfortable during your visit. Definitely recommend. I got a root canal not too long ago and felt no pain whatsoever after the procedure.

Great place friendly staff. Highly recommend this dentistry. I had a walk in for a emergency tooth ache and was seen within the hour.

I give this place a 5 star for everything! Amazing people, clean place & great prices! Got my braces done here & get them off next month! I couldn’t be any happier with the progress! Will definitely be coming back for any dentistry work!

I haven’t been to a dentist in a very long time. Yikes! I arrived a little late but I was taken care of quickly for it being my first visit to this office. Staff both front office and in back rooms were friendly and helpful. Procedures were explained and performed in a timely manner. I appreciated the staff at the office today.

Came here because of teeth sensitivity. Every time I ate something hot or cold, my teeth would hurt. In no time, they had fixed my teeth sensitivity issue, and cleaned and polished my teeth to a brilliant shine. Now eating and smiling like a champ. Props to Whittier dental!

Tried this place out after my husband raved about his visit with Dr. Pike. I could not get an appointment with her, and instead saw Dr. Park today. I have absolutely no complaints! It was easy to get an appointment, parking is not an issue, and everyone from the receptionist to the guy who took my x-​rays were professional and kind. Dr. Park took the time to explain what work I needed and why. I had 4 fillings done (yikes!) and she did a great job numbing me up. That is a huge deal considering I have very sensitive teeth and I give anesthesia for a living so my standards for pain management are very high! This place is 20 miles from where I live but the drive (and LA traffic) are worth enduring to get quality dental care.

Wow, I didn’t know how good this dentist office was until I left. And let me tell you, I regret ever leaving. Great staff and dentist here. Highly recommend

I’ve been here twice and they do a terrible job explaining what they’re doing to you. For example, when they quoted me my out of pocket expense and I thought it was too high, I asked why a certain procedure was being performed. Their reply was that I got it last time, and they assumed I wanted it again. They themselves didn’t state that they recommended it or not, but just assumed it was something I would want. Frankly, I don’t feel comfortable there because of that and I won’t be returning.

This experience has been expensive, gruesome, and most painful don’t know why I keep coming back… it’s the same crappy service all the time. The waiting is always anywhere from 1 – 2 hours… even with an appointment! I keep coming becauae it’s a hassle changing office with my insurance (which only covers very minimal). I had some fillings removed and replaced with porcelain back in September of 2013… it’s now July 2014. Since then I have been back four other times because they don’t do it right and it hurts to even drink water. The Hispanic guy is insensitive, horrible in his practice, and he doesnt know what he is doing. When I complained that he was hurting me, he replied that he wasnt perfect and that I just had to deal with it «no one is perfect, not even brain surgeons». I gave him a second try to fix this and he hurt me so bad that I was in awful pain even two weeks after procedure. Went back and refused him and Asian dentist worked on me. She was a lot better but refused to accept my complaints about not being to chew right. Lastly, the owner, Dr. David, worked to fix my teeth, but they are not done right either. They said to give my mouth time to heal and for me to get use to the work, but it’s been 10 months and nothing has improved!!! Not coming back… for the price I have paid financially, emotionally, and physically –there has to be someone better!

I made an appointment for Thursday at 4:30. I get there in time and she asks me to sign in and wait to be called in. An hour later I was still in the waiting room. I got up and just told the receptionist I was leaving. What good does making an appointment do me? I’m still really upset they wasted my time. I will not be going back.

Came in to get a wisdom tooth pulled, and once I was their I decided to get a deep cleaning and have some cavaties filled as well. I have no complaints! Not only was Dr David R awesome the entire staff of assistants were super friendly. I definitely recommend this place, especially if you have never been to a Dentist. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family, that’s for sure. Thanks Dr David !

So about a week a go one of my wisdom teeth decide to throw a fit. It was a saturday almost close to 4 a clock. Called different place no one was willing to see me, then I remembered Whittier Dental, as I pass by there on my way to work. Looked them up and yes even though they were about to close they said to come on in. Like other have said the x-​ray staff is excellent. The procedure went well and was quick, I was out within the hour. The dentist explained everything he was going to do, and before he even started he kept asking me, do you feel this, do you feel that? to make sure I was completely numb. There was a point Where i did kind of feel something, I said yes, he stopped and administered another injection. After that I didn’t feel a thing, and was surprised how quickly he took it out.
Mind you, this is not my first extraction, I had one a while back at a different place, and I literately cried. TEARS yes. So trust me when I say, this place deserves 5 stars.
Parking right in front of the office, place was clean, staff was friendly.

Absolutely horrific experience here. Starting from the 2 ½ hour wait time with an appointment, ending with my daughter traumatized. No apologies were given by the rude assistant who pushed my daughter out of her way. Apparently we were unfortunate to have landed here on a busy day. Completely unprofessional, and the entire staff (minus the 2 guys who do X-​rays) have zero compassion or consideration. My daughter had multiple extractions here. A painful procedure. She was belittled into feeling like she was being a crybaby (she’s in her teens) when they were actually full blown HURTING her. From start to finish, a simple cleaning. the exam.then the extractions. ALL of it was a nightmare. They treated her like crap. Didn’t respond to her pain. Didn’t pay attention to her vitals. She was having trouble breathing, and they treated her like she was being over dramatic. My daughter has NEVER cried with any procedure, whether dental or medical. And she’s been through a whole lot. So to have seen her in SO much pain and agony made me feel like a horrible mom for trusting these people to care for her. I am still shocked. If you have children, please consider a different dentist. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to go through what we just did. :(The dentist and assistant speak to each other in Spanish while working. (The dentist is Asian) Totally weird. And totally rude. The assistant kept banging her instruments on her teeth while entering her mouth for suction or water. Never apologized once, just assumed she didn’t feel it because she was numb. She spoke to her very sternly, assuming I wasn’t in the room. WHO DOES THAT? To a freaking child who is terrified already before even getting there. Even a full grown adult shouldn’t be treated this way. You’d think they’d make at least a little effort to make such a painful procedure, comfortable. Too close to closing time. They just wanted to be done and over with. Felt like crying myself. I’ve had extractions before (from a different dentist) and I’ve never been in the amount of pain my daughter is in now. She didn’t wait even 1 minute after the numbing gel to give her the injection. then after the injection came back in about 30 seconds ready to yank. And to top it all off… when she was done, I asked if there was a risk of dry socket, or if that only happens to wisdom teeth. Her response «Why are you asking me about that? That hasn’t happened here ever.» REALLY? I can’t ask a simple question? A question relating to a very painful possibility after an extraction? Jesus… I beg your pardon.
This is my 1^st review on Unilocal because that is how appalled I am. Run far and run fast. The office is ghetto, the staff — rude, the dentists — worst ever. And that’s being kind.
