Eric (owner) & his Wife are untrustworthy. They failed to have bracelet ready when they said. Eric also refused to apply $ 50 Credit deposit for layaway towards repair considering inconvenience. He said, ‘that’s not possible” & walked away. I paid Cash for repairs of $ 35.05 + $ 10 Cash deposit.
They are absolutely Untrustworthy.

Such a Nice and friendly establishment. The couple was very very friendly and took the time to show me many pieces of jewelry. Also, offered to custom make whatever I wanted. I ended up buying a very beautiful and unique champagne diamond ring. Also, had my watch battery replaced and band changed. They discounted my purchase without even asking. I recommend Wilshire Jewelers to anyone who’s looking for reasonable and unique pieces of jewelry.

Came in to get my bracelet and necklace repaired. Sophie was kind enough to just quickly fix my bracelet for no charge because she was too kind to charge me for a quick fix. She was very polite and explained that i have to leave my necklace and that she will me as soon as its ready for pick up. She gave me a breakdown on what needs to be done with it.
Very nice staff (i believe she owns the place). I definitely recommend this place.

Wilshire Jewelers is my chosen place for jewelry and watch repairs, and also has a nice selection of jewelry made there. Former spouse purchased a beautiful gold and garnet ring in an elaborate and refined setting that they made. It’s one of my favorites. I’ve brought multiple repairs to them in the past. Multi-​strand gem necklaces from India were re-​strung perfectly, watch batteries are guaranteed for three years, several repairs done on asian gold items were very well done. I’ve had them fix a couple of things that were done incorrectly at one of those fast jewelry fix-​it places in the mall.
The couple who own the store are always both professional and charming. It’s really very pleasant to have old-​world service in this day and age, and to know that your jewelry is in trustworthy and competent hands. Excellent store!

Sophie at Wilshire Jewelers is so delightful to work with — she’s knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They did a great job with resizing my 3 rings in a timely manner — my wedding band, my grandmother’s ring, and my college ring. I was most impressed that they were able to keep the intricate engraving on the inside of my college ring intact. It is a detailed map of my college campus. I’ll be back the next time I have to get work done on my rings.

This place has such bad customer service. I called regarding a few normal questions that a new customer would be curious about and instead of helping me the man was very rude and hung up on me twice without answering my question. At first, I thought it was a mistake but after I called once more to ask a question he refused to answer over the phone and hung up on me. I thought in this day and age you would like people calling to inquire about things to buy but not here!!! Don’t give them your business because clearly they don’t want it.

Very pushy about buying jewelry. Once I was told flat out that my bangle couldn’t be fixed, guy went straight to telling me to put down deposits for rings. Not what I went there for. At all.

Exceptional service! I dropped in because I work nearby to fix my watch strap it was done in minutes. The owner couple seemed genuine was very kind. This may have been a simple service but they apparently are very experienced in all types of jewelry work.
It turns out that there is a good selection of jewelry, watches, other accessories and even customized ordering.
I would definitely come back and would recommend this place to anyone looking for jewelry or repairs at a great price and service!

I’ve been coming to Wilshire Jewelers since 2007. The first time I walked in, I was greeted by the married couple who owns the store, Eric and Sophie. I was looking to get a ring and had no idea about jewelry at all, and they helped me find exactly what I was looking for and in my budget range.
Since then, I’ve been back to Wilshire Jewelers a few times, perhaps once or twice a year for various things, including doing work on my watches. He’s always done a great job with it all and always at a fair price and friendly service.
There aren’t a lot of «mom and pop» type businesses in this industry. I’m glad I found one, and so close to home, too! All K-​Town residents should go there, as I believe he’s been there for well over 20 years, maybe even 30. You don’t last that long unless you’re doing something right.

I walked in to see how much a watch battery replacement would come up to. He originally said $ 25, but he said that he could sell me the battery for $ 10. I said fine and he brought me the battery and i said «No, id like you to do it» (I dont have small tools to change a battery on a watch) he said okay and he left it at $ 20. Erick was very kind, and i now have a two year warranty on the battery.

Edited — today (Feb 24, 2015) i checked the back of my watch and turns out that there is a big scratch where one of the screws is. He scratched it and didnt even tell me. Next thing i notice is that the link that attaches the leather strap to the watch is broken, and i do not believe this to be a coincidences. I will go back in a few days and see if they will replace this, and will change my rating accordingly.

I was going to my dentist appointment when lo and behold they won’t let me in because of a fire drill. While waiting, I went to check out some of the stores and I met Sophie. We chatted and went in the store. She’s very soft spoken and will give you good deals. long story short, I was able to get a necklace that I needed for my pendant.
Why 5 stars? Well, i felt secure when I was in the store. I like their selection, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, they’ll make it for you. There’s no pressure in buying anything at all.
There are a lot of street parking and if you can’t find any on the street, there’s a building designated for parking.
I’m a happy camper so far, let’s see if my new necklace is good.

Rude people with shady service. They will try to charge you for everything and they left me and told me to come back while we were discussing the size of my piece. I had a cross piece I previously purchased online but turned out the piece was too small for the chain I bought for it. It’s like $ 6000 piece but they told me they can make a bigger piece with same karats of diamonds for the better price so I was gonna take the deal but that’s what they said and didn’t follow through to do the deal with me telling me they gotta go so I have to wait and come back. They don’t even have parking so I was parked at a paid parking where they charge by time. So I say they were bluffing to attract my attention but wouldn’t do it in the end and therefore they don’t deserve my business. Take your business elsewhere.

I brought in two watches here to ask about getting batteries replaced. The guy quoted me $ 28 PER watch. $ 28! Are you crazy? They’re not even fancy watches! I told him that the price was insane, and that I even brought my own batteries for him to replace them. He looked at me and said, «fine $ 15». No, thank you. I’ll take them somewhere else. He glares. I leave… quickly.
Watch out if you come here for watch battery replacement, they’ll gouge you through the roof.
