History

Established in 2014.

Many of the neighborhoods I was raised in are food deserts, and provide few options for fresh and organic produce and very limited (if any) access to healthy nutritional alternatives to fast and processed foods. I am on a mission to raise the level of health consciousness in my community and improve access to healthier food. I want to promote healthy eating, encourage our collective investment in each other and support and create efforts to grow our own food and maintain community gardens that provide organic fruits and vegetables where they have been least accessible. With our customers and sponsors help we will have a brick and mortar location inside of Leimert Park and a food truck to travel around.
