I recently relocated to Los Angeles from out of state and I was looking for a new personal tax accountant. I found Yosef on Unilocal and was curious to see if he was the right guy for me. My significant other came to Yosef first and she raved about how good Yosef was, how great he was with clients and how helpful he was in filing a tax return. I decided to give Yosef a shot and I could not have had a better experience.
From the minute I began communicating with his assistant, Wendy, the experience and customer service were top-​notch. All email communications were professional and timely and they adjusted their schedule on more than one occasion because I had different business meetings I had to tend to and needed to change our appt time.
When I arrived at Yosef’s beautiful, modern, spacious office, I was greeted by a very friendly young lady who offered me a beverage and made me feel at home. She requested my documents and began the process before I even sat down with Yosef. While I was sitting there, I had a question in regards to one of my documents and a friendly gentleman helped provide some clarity for me.
When Yosef brought me into his office, he was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to tax filing and my tax return. Offering a number of different options and solutions, I felt like Yosef was going the extra mile or two compared to the accountant I have used in the past. I had a multitude of clarifying questions and Yosef took the time to explain each aspect of the tax return so that I was comfortable when I left. I would call Yosef the «ultimate businessman» because he is well versed in accounting, law, business dealings, etc. from what I could tell in our short interaction. I would not hesitate to chat with him about other business dealings in the future if something came up.
Yosef’s entire staff from the email communications to my exit out the door were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
If you are looking to file a tax return this year or in the future, I would not hesitate to come to Yosef because when it comes to taxes and tax returns, you could not be in better hands!
**I know this sounds like an infomercial but I used Unilocal to find Yosef and I wanted to make sure others heard about my entire experience. This isn’t a restaurant or a dry cleaners, good accounts can be hard to find, tough to deal with and not that helpful (see: my past experience) and Yosef goes the extra mile.

went to Yosef based on prior Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did! He was awesome. Service in entire firm was quick and friendly, and Yosef knew exactly what he was doing, and did it well. My tax return was fairly simple, but I had moved across the country within the past year so he was able to deduct a lot of my moving expenses. We have a small entertainment/​advertising/​on-​line business with lots of different levels to it.
We were late on our California corporate taxes and my personal taxes for 2011, communication with our previous CPA died out last April and my California corporate taxes are due in 15 days. Mr. Manela Yosef advised me on everything I was doing right and wrong with my business and right then and then said I will never have to worry about business and personal taxes again!
I came prepared with all my documents and figures in my briefcase, my just proceeded to start doing the taxes for both California and D.C. right there, the last two weeks I tried going to different CPAs trying to find someone who can at least see me for 15 minutes let alone do my taxes. I saw one other CPA around 90 036 and that other CPA just gave me the scared tactic and lied to me and gave me all this bad advise, i’m not going to name names but don’t always trust Unilocal when they have 15 5 star ratings it means they are probably paying Unilocal.
Mr. Manela Yosef is straight, to the point, QUICK, it was my fault I didn’t file on time but we make great looking website and mobile app we can’t do taxes!
I’m referring my friend to Mr. Yosef who does graphic design also and sometimes works on a 1099.
I’m planning on returning February 2013 for my California FY2012 taxes and back in April for my D.C. taxes!
