I come to this yoshinoya at least once a week, since I’m always in k-town. I also go to multiple yoshinoyas, I always manage to go to this one instead of others. The food here is still original from back in the day. Not like other yoshinoyas that are now completely tasteless. This one also has different items on the menu, but they keep the original menu original and original taste. The containers are still the same! Why is that a big deal? Because I went to a yoshinoya serving my food on a card board container. Over all love this yoshinoya place is clean, people are nice and friendly. Good is tasty. The only downside is parking. It’s a small lot so you sometimes have to wait about 10min since there’s also a Korean bbq next to it. You can see my other reviews for that Korean bbq :)

Been eating this for 20 years. Not an everyday thing but it hits the spot and they’re open very late. Great for what it is. The orange chicken is weak though. Stick with the beef bowl. Oh yeah what happened to the sesame wings? I miss those

Definitely a lot better than ny last visit. Meat was packed on and it seems the quality has improved significantly. They even have sriracha sauce bottles.

I’m from the Bay Area so yes, we have a higher cost of living deservingly so. Y’all So Cal folks cant take this joint for granted. For the price, you’re getting the food for free. $ 5 for a chicken covered rice bowl with broccoli? Win. You can’t even get a lousy cardboard tasting fast food cheeseburger for that price. The combo bowl is where it’s at. Steak on one side and chicken on the other, with plenty of steamed white rice. Very hot and tasty. It’s $ 6.29 — amazing. Not my battle, but a smart entrepreneur will bring Yoshinoya to Nor Cal, we will support easily as our only options are Panda Express(last choice fallback chinese food) and Chipotle(foul e. coli wannabe taqueria). And both of them minimum $ 8+ for anything comparable. Choice late night option when the K-town restaurants are closed. Be sure to get condiments of pickled ginger and Sriracha with your order.

Wow! if I could give a «0» star rating, I most certainly would go there. Straight to the point. I ordered a large beef bowl because it was supposed to be more food than the regular beef bowl costing only a dollar more. If I’m not mistaken it is $ 5.49 for the regular bowl, while the large bowl sits at $ 6.49. I was told the exact portion size in grams AND ounces, and at that point it’s like«well I’m hungry so i might as well go bigger for just a dollar. I get my box and open it and I see majority rice, a little bit of meat, and some veggies. This is certainly not what I was told I would be getting. I basically received a regular beef bowl for the price of the large. To make the situation a little worse, it turns out the person who told me the lie about how much food I would be getting was in fact the manager. Thats very disappointing to have a manager lie directly to your face. Thennnn I voice my opinion to the cashier that took my order and she laughed and stated«when you order the veggies and meat together you get less meat.» I wish i was told that before ordering. To top things off the food wasn’t that great. some of the meat was still cold as well as the veggies. Oh and this is while I’m staring down my friend who ordered the same thing, but asked for it all to be separated, and he has a full plate of rice, full plate of meat, and a decent sized bowl of rice. Business success starts from the top. If the manager lies to me and doesn’t ensure that his words weren’t followed through with, you can’t expect much else.

You know what to expect from Yoshinoya. Weather it is a The Beef bowl or a chicken bowl with veggies. Nice clean remodeled store that had been here for ions. Today we had Beef bowl, combo plates, Mac salad, chicken salad, Gyoza and fountain drinks to go. All good to go.

I stick with the beef bowl when I go to Yoshinoya. Everything else is soggy and unpleasant. The beef bowl is pretty soggy all the time too, but it tastes pretty good. I guess it’s pretty good for the price you’re paying though.

I find Yoshinoya to be a «healthier» alternative to hamburgers, pizza, and whatever other fast food that tend to eat when I am in a rush for school or work. No real difference going here or to any other Yoshinyoya as all there selection is the same, though I have to say sometimes their meat will be a little salter and sometimes less. This location in particular has very few parking spaces so be prepared to park on the street. I like this place slightly better then the other one in LA because it is generally less crowded and the condiments are put outside for your use.

After gettin off work, I was starvvvvvvving and craving their beef bowl. This is another Yoshinoya in Koreatown! and they have the Weekend Special too! :] We got the reg. beef bowl($ 3.67) and a large beef bowl($ 4.77). There were 3 workers and no one bothered to take our order for a while… until we started forming a line. (it was empty before we walked in.) –_– And it took us forever to get our food. The old ladies move so slowwwww: P and. like any other strip malls in Koreatown. parking sucks.

It is what it is — rice with some meat and vegetables. I never buy Yoshinoya’s without a coupon but I still eat it once in a blue moon(with a coupon). It reminds me of when I was a kid — my parents ate it a lot, especially my dad. Today, I went with my coupon and bought a combo bowl for dinner. I still have no idea why my dad liked it and continues to like it so much but many other men must agree — the place was full of lone men ordering and eating alone or taking it with them. Very interesting… Anyways, I was pleasantly surprised because they have a spicy teriyaki sauce option(rather than the regular one). I tried that out and it was a nice kick.

theres nothing better to beat your hunger attack like a beef bowl. thin strips of marinated beef atop steamed rice for 3 dollars!
