I usually feel the guilt after eating a donut but today I felt guilty while eating it here and upset for wasting my money on the two donuts I ate here. I purchased a Boston crème like donut and a French twist donut which they call a swiller. The Boston had no crème in the middle I had to return to switch it for a second swiller. Both swillers were under cooked and instead of being doughy inside it had the texture and taste of undercooked eggs. Who ever made the donuts today needs to stay on cashier duty! This isn’t normal for this place to have such horrible donuts which is why I gave them an extra star.

I love donuts. The donuts here are standard decent donuts, but at a ridiculously cheap price. I got 14 donut holes for $ 2.40. That is insane. I felt bad that it was so cheap that I ended up also getting a bearclaw and a bunch of other buns, which were all quite good! Service was very fast and there is a small parking lot convenient for a quick in and out.

Such a disappointing experience. I was craving a donut and made the mistake of coming here. The donut tasted very similar to the ones sold at a grocery store. I’ll be going to a local mom & pop shop from now on. No more Yum Yum!

Currently here and the service is bad. They screw up orders. The girls here said they gave me my order when they hadn’t. They went back to the cameras to check and realized they didn’t give me what I ordered. They didn’t bother apologizing. Do not recommend the place. Once of them came with my order and I said this was bullshit. Later the other girl which happened to be the first girl’s older sister came and confronted me and started talking shit to me. Honestly I felt threaten by her.

Love me some Yum Yums! They get nothing less than 5 stars from me. The store is tiny but I like to sit in this location and people watch. It’s a very entertaining corner.

Oh, donuts… I think I used to be the duchess here, but when I went today Unilocal told me to ‘keep it up’ to become a ‘regular’…at the same time it told me I had 22 check-ins there. Had it really been that long since I was there? 2.99 got me two donuts and a large diet coke. And they have a small shared parking lot that’s free. Free parking, cheap unhealthy food-what else can a gal want in LA? What else is good? They welcome service dogs and have wheelchair friendly seating(according to the signs). They take credit cards. They have a handy chart posted on the wall with nutrition information so you can see how much of your fat and sugar allowance of the day you just blew through in one moment. Speaking if nutrition… they do have little mini donuts. Trying to be smart, one day I tried to buy just one. But apparently they are so many for a dollar. Okay, I thought to myself… I’ll eat one now and save the others for later. Hah, they didn’t even make it home, let alone being saved for ‘later’. There is also a standard California doom and gloom warning sign. There is something to do with donuts, or the baking thereof, that may cause cancer and birth defects in California.(Same goes for parking garages and hangers at target). I never see those signs back East, so I wonder if these donuts would be safer if I took them across state lines. Although I admit, if I were to cross state lines I might find myself in another donut shop. Not that Yum Yum isn’t good… they just don’t have the sentimental value of Krispie Kremes or Dunkin Donuts. But here in LA, this is where I go to get rainbow sprinkled chocolate frosted goodness.

Thanks anyways Yum Yum, but for a $ 3.50 mix of orange and carrot juice and a $ 1.89 for a donut, I think I am better off going to the market across the street and getting more bang for my buck. A snack in the morning shouldn’t cost more than the $ 4 to $ 5 delicious breakfast burritos available in the neighborhood.

Well they have great customer service but that definitely does not outweigh the terrible donuts… Last time I’ll ever go there; plus b/c it is a chain, they charge more. $ 4.99 for a half a dozen and no freebie? No thanks. Mom & Pop shops are the only way to go for donuts.

Cute little space for a quick grab and go. Service is great! The ladies who work here are very considerate and quick paced! Great quality breakfast sandwiches + donuts + coffee! :)
