Love the deli here! If you like veggie sandwiches, you have to try the Victory Garden sandwich on ciabatta bread. I like to tweak it slightly: mayo, pesto, no mustard. They also have a chocolate chip cookie that is downright sinful!
The produce is fresh, and they have a great selection of other items. This is a great place to come if you need to do a little quick, last minute shopping, and it stays open late.

Best thing about this place is the friendly employees. The sandwiches made there are decent too but most things are overpriced. I guess their markup is my price for convenience.

I have been ordering from this location since they opened. I was a patron of their WeHo location prior.
For as many orders as I’ve placed, they are the most inconsistent delivery service ever. Their menu prices are not competitive. Their delivery charges are now at $ 5.99 per order plus a gas surcharge, in addition to tax, CRV on your bottles and cans as well as the tips their delivery drivers expect. Absolutely not.
The best thing about Yummy is their LaBrea Bakery items (many of which I can purchase at one of my neighborhood traditional grocery chains). I also love their natural Cornish hens. I don’t eat Foster Farms poultry, so when the holidays arrive, I will happily order Cornish hens from Yummy.
Their fruit and vegetables are no better than those sold in traditional grocery stores. It is now $ 2.29 for a head of organic lettuce. Most of their regular menu items have increased in price. They have weekly sales that expire on Friday night, with new sales appearing Saturday morning. The weekly sales aren’t that great. They used to send catalogs and offer freebies every six months or so with your order. They no longer do that.
Their customer service is much improved in the last few orders I’ve placed, but they typically forget an item (or 2) in my orders. They used to botch my orders so badly that I stopped ordering from them altogether for several months.
If you like what Yummy sells and you can leave home, try shopping at Trader Joe’s. You’ll get much more for less, and the quality will be better.

I was get half chicken and fries for my daughter and she loves it! I usually call and place my order and go by and pick it up the staff are always very friendly. Thank you for always making my daughter happy:)

The 4 times I ordered the 4 times it took them more than 30 minutes, one time it took them 1 hour and when I called to get ETA no one apologize, very rude guy on the phone. Missing items sometimes !1 good thing: the delivery guy is always nice and polite.

They make great sandwiches with bread from la brea bakery. My kids like the salami tapenade and I like their egg sandwich.

Yummy is a lovely addition to the small but growing Playa Vista retail business arena. Although a bit expensive, they do offer great convenience and service with a very friendly smile.
Good quality food brands in the freezer and fridge and a delicious deli counter with nice choices.
Although they deliver, we just do walk-​in business since we’re so close. Thx Yummy for being there.

i love whole foods but their salad bar makes my wallet sad. is it worth it for the eye candy? only in moderation.

Nice neighborhood market. Big selection for such a small place. Can be a little overprice but definitely convenient if you live close. They also deliver too, which is a plus.

Great place to go for last minute items needed. Sandwiches are tasty and generously sized. Selection for groceries is great too. Only complain is that their prices are high, but I guess that’s what you pay for when it comes to convenience. Double check your receipt — there have been times where we’ve been overcharged for items ($ 14.99 for heavy whipping cream vs. $ 4.99). Overall, for a place that is friendly, convenient, and clean —

Local mini grocery store, with friendly staff, and a nice deli. It is a bit pricy. But welcome to playa vista.

Good food — chaotic at lunch. Nice staff but little staff hooligans take over the lunch area outside making it a bit awkward hearing their juvenile stories of sex and drugs. Glad I noticed they juice to order and it’s all affordable for being in PV.

This is what Whole Foods would call mini-​me. I really love stopping in to grab a sandwich to go from here. The ingredients are fresh, the quality is amazing and you can usually customize your sandwich to what you’re feeling.
The prices here can be steep and the aisles are stuffed with all sorts of things. It does annoy me from time to time when I am trying to look for something in particular. Outside from that — I do enjoy this place specifically for the sandwiches and knowing that I am supporting a local business — double win right?!

Extremely disorganized, tasteless food, and incompetent staff
I just waited over 25 minutes for two sandwiches and chicken. The order I placed was: half chicken w/​fries, turkey royale with cheddar and avocado, and a victory garden sandwich, no onions, add peppercinis and chicken. My co-​worker ordered the victory garden right before me and got her sandwich within 10 minutes. We ordered the exact same sandwich. However, the workers didn’t even start my sandwiches until I told them I had been waiting for over 20 minutes. Not only did it take FOREVER to make my order, THE ORDER WAS WRONG. My victory garden sandwich only has lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, peppercinis, and chicken. It’s MISSING sprouts, salt & pepper, or green peppers. The bread and chicken were extremely dry. Such a waste of time for a subpar sandwich. I will never go here again. I’m better off going to Subway where I know they have fresh bread and will make my order quickly and correctly.

The food itself is quite good– and here I’m specifically talking about the deli counter and not their produce or packaged goods. I mean this feels like the delivery grocery store rich people order from when they don’t care enough to pick out their own produce. Whatever. More power to
for getting in on that racket.
All I can say is, while the sandwiches are good, the service is so incredibly slow, one has to wonder how there can be three people behind the counter and still manage to keep things moving that slow.
I guess it’s a talent? Whatever, I go there either way. I just tend to order lunch either at ten-​thirty or around, say two.

Yummy is a nice little store situated on the square in Playa Vista. It’s not terribly big, but it is more spacious and offers a much larger selection than a traditional convenience market.
The prices are steep, and the store is poorly lighted. The aisles are surpisingly cramped considering a selection that is slim at best. That’s the bad news.
Here is the good news, this store rocks as compared to a 7-​Eleven (except no Slurpees), They have a modest produce section and other amenities that a full service grocery store offers, but in a compact and, most importantly, convenient manner.
So don’t expect a mini-​Whole Foods, but if you keep your expectation modest, you will find this market a Yummy choice.

You get giant portions in their large salads, but sometimes they give you like 400 peanuts in the Chinese chicken so every bite has a peanut basically… I had to start asking for light peanuts and light dressing because they also soak the dressing on when it is «pre-​tossed»
One example of their overpricing shenanigans is their «natural» margarita mix. This bottle is the size of a standard Gatorade bottle and it rang up $ 11.99! I had no other options at the time so I had to go through with it, and that is how this place gets you. They have a super-​monopoly on the playa vista residents… God I can’t wait until the new runway opens and I have other options rather than getting taken advantage of by the Yummy.

This is a small market that has a small deli. They deliver groceries as well to the local community (Playa Vista). I came here because of an excellent Unilocal review and was in need of lunch. I read in some of the previous reviews that the chicken pesto sandwich was good so I ordered it. First off, the sandwich was delicately wrapped in paper and then placed in an individual box which was real nice. The bread was perfect and freshly baked. The ingredients were wholesome, nutritious, and fresh. The sandwich was about near perfect as it gets (see picture). The employees were helpful and pleasant. And special praise to the tall guy that talked to me about Unilocal reviews. While I waited for my sandwich, I walked the aisles of this market and found it well stocked. Prices were reasonable and it was clean. East 5-​star rating all around.
