Can also be used in the postpartum period for women who experience dryness and pain postpartum. This is a non-surgical and non-hormonal option for these conditions.
History
Established in 1980.
Santa Monica Women’s Health has been caring for women for almost 50 years. The founding practioners have retired but the group continues to deliver state of the heart care in all aspects of women’s health. The current practice involves 7 OB-Gyns which I am currently the most recent to join the group. I have been practicing OB-GYN for over 15 years in downtown Los Angeles but decided to join this respectable group of physicians because it is closer to home and allows me to have coverage if I need it. Santa Monica Women’s Health provides prenatal care adjacent to St. John’s Hospital and all prenatal and delivery services are performed at St. John’s recently built Women’s Health and Prenatal Unit. Most intensive gynecologic procedures are performed at St. John’s as well. Out patient procedures are performed at the St. John’s Outpatient Center directly across from the hospital.

Business Owner
I have lived in Los Angeles since 1985 when I moved here from Montana to attend UCLA. I graduated with a BS in Psychobiology. I then attend USC Medical School, and did my residency in OB-GYN at USC. I worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor for USC for 3 years post residency and did private practice as well at Good Samaritan Hospital. I practiced there for 15 years with two colleagues from my residency class. As a trio we participated in a number of media events involved in educating women in Women’s Health. We were involved in a reality medical series called «Deliver Me» on Discovery Health and the Own Network for 4 seasons. During that time we collectively wrote «The Mommy Doc’s Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and Birth» as well as being the medical spokes people for Monistat and EPT and serving as experts on talk shows, radio shows, blogging and magazine articles. I moved my practice to Santa Monica in June 2014 to spend more time with my husband and two children.
