Lessons are tailored to match the goals and learning styles of each individual student. Zen teaches all ages and all skill levels. Students can learn music theory, punk rock, ear training, jazz, proper technique, funk, reading music, hard rock, fingerpicking, singing and playing, acoustic guitar, scales, performance, improvisation, jamming and much much more!

History

Established in 2006.

Zen has been a professional guitar teacher since 2006. He served as a mentor /​music teacher at The Riekes Center For Human Enhancement for six years and then as a Guitar Instructor at J ACE J Music for four. He has run afterschool Guitar Program, designed curriculum for high school music programs and facilitated and run numerous workshops, recitals, summer camps and band classes.

Business Owner

Zen believes strongly that playing music should be a joy and all of his lessons and classes focus on each students personal goals as a musician while tailoring to their needs as a student. Zen has been studying guitar and music theory since 1998. In 2006 he graduated from The Musicians Institute’s Guitar program in Hollywood, California. Spending many years performing in and writing with bands, Zen is a proficent singer, songwriter and performer with a passion for education.
