Double D Towing

Dale was very helpful. He charged our battery and loaned us gas containers. This was on a Sunday. Very grateful.

So thankful for Dale from Double D Towing! Our family was on our way to Disneyland from Vacaville, CA, (in two cars) and Dale arrived shortly to pick up our car that was breaking down. He took it back to our house in Vacaville and we were able to continue on our journey to Disneyland in our other car. Wonderful service and would highly recommend!

After having a terrible day on the road heading toward San Francisco, Dale came out of his way himself to help me get my motorcycle out of the highway after I called several other towing companies and having none of them come to my aid. It had been my second towing and it was by far the best towing I have ever had. It exceptionally fast, reliable, and easy as he gave me several options on where I could tow my motorcycle where I could get food, shelter, and help. His service deserves praise over other because in that area that is pretty empty as it is, his company is able to come to a customers disposal, and in a short amount of time. Dale was also a great guy and one of the D’s. I would not be surprised to meet the other D, who must also provide such excellent service as Dale did.

Everything we read about this place, and Ted, was spot on! When my husband broke down in Los Banos, I searched online for a reputable towing company to bring him home, and after reading the reviews for Double D Towing, he gave them a call and was hoe in 2 hours!!! Ted was very pleasant driving companiion, and even helped us transfer the things in one truck to our borrowed vehicle. If you should ever have the misfortune of breaking down along the road near Los Banos, this is the man to call!

Had a flat tire at 1 am on I5 in the middle of no where. Dale got to us in 20 minutes — BMW road side assist told us it would be 70 minutes. He was very nice and helpful. Drove us to Modesto and helped us find a hotel to stay at until the dealership opened in the morning. Would definitely recommend Double D towing.

TERRIBLE SERVICE PLEASE READ
The owner of the company, not sure of his name, intentionally left me stranded with my car dead at 1 in the morning in the middle of nowhere over a petty argument that he escalated. Not to mention the man smelled like a brewery.
I was simply trying to tell him how to jump my car, in a respectful manner to boot, yet he was determined to argue that my way was incorrect, even though he was proven otherwise (and later admitted so). He then told me to turn my car off, THEN LEFT! I kid you not the man had me turn my car off then left my friend and I stranded. He left without providing the service he ha already been paid for.
We then called him and started going off on him, threatening to leave terrible reviews. He said, verbatim, «you’ll leave me bad reviews whether I come back or not.» He only came back after I told him I was trying to get home for a funeral and gave him a fake apology. After coming back he gave a belligerent lecture about he was trying to teach me a lesson (as if he was in any place to do so, he realistically is a man with a temper who didn’t appreciate the bruised ego), as well as the fact that he’s been in this line of work for too long to have people trying to correct him (even though he was admittedly wrong!) Right before we finished he called me a dick and said, «do what you want, my friends have given me enough good reviews.» Terrible person all around, his wife even sat in the passenger seat and watched.
I’ll be filing more formal complaints, there’s no way I’m letting him get off with what he did.

I can not say enough about Double D towing and especially Ted! Ted was amazing, quick, safe, and very courteous! My car broke down on my way from the Bay Area to Selma. He hooked the car up and chauffeured me and my car all the way to Selma. His conversation and hospitality made the trip fly by. I hope I never break down again but if I do, Ted from Double D will get my call!

Dale from Double D Towing saved my Thanksgiving holiday this year. I was on my way up from San Diego to the Seahawks versus 49ers game on Thanksgiving evening and broke down 90 miles from the stadium. Dale picked me up within 20 minutes and had me dropped off at a repair shop of my choice in San Jose. He was a great guy and I would recommend this company to anybody seeking a tow service in the Los Banos area. I was even able to make the game, walking up the stairs of the new Levi’s stadium as kickoff occurred. 5 stars and a great thank you to Dale.

I own a 67 SS Chevelle and sadly she broke down on me today. I called Double D towing based on the other Unilocal reviews. Boy am I happy that I chose them. They were fast and professional and best of all they treated my car as if were theirs. The service is excellent and I would gladly use them again in a heart beat if I had to. Thank you very much!

Last night my car broke down in Gustine, thankfully I has Onstar which helped me deal with the madness of being alone and stranded in central Cali ! Anyway, they made the good choice to contact DW towing. Frank from DW arrived right on schedule; he was polite, sweet and helpful. Definitely made my New Years car breakdown more bearable. After dropping off my car, he drove me to my hotel.
At first, I was weary of what starting the new year with a car breakdown on the freeway would mean for my 2014, but if it means encountering attentive, genuine ppl like Frank, then it’s not a bad start.
