I am so impressed by the beautiful, artistic selection of lamps in this store. I needed to buy 3 pendant lamps and had a great selection to choose from… but then I saw the one I fell in love with! I had to order two more and the hardware… now I’m ready to call the electrician for installation. Maya was so sweet and friendly. She walked me through everything so that I would have exactly what I needed. The whole experience was extremely positive and professional.

Amazingly deep selection of LED lights for basically any use case. We got almost every single light in our new home from this store and we couldn’t be happier with the results (or our power bill). They seriously have everything — we got recessed lights, wall sconces, pendants, flush-​mount lights, under cabinet lights, even exterior lights from this shop. Tal, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and service-​oriented. We had a design snafu with the unique lighting design for our master bathroom (the interior designer’s fault; poor communication on her part), but Tal cheerfully took the lights back and devised a really clever and beautiful solution by working directly with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. We love the end result and would recommend this store to anyone who wants high-​quality products and an excellent customer service experience to match.

Extremely knowledgable in all types of lighting, beautiful store front and fixtures, great prices, extremely nice and helpful staff that works with you through all stages of getting ur lights or chandeliers installed and recommends great electrician if needed. The have plenty of a selection too choose from and beautiful quality!!!

This place has a great selection of lights! We were looking for LED track lights, and Lance was extremely helpful in explaining how they worked, what kinds there are, how much power they used, how they look, etc. While they did have quite a few fixtures in stock, we settled on one from the catalogs. But we were able to see how the lighting itself would look right at the store.
The one snag we had was that the transformer was slightly incompatible with the LED bulbs, despite the manufacturer’s claims. It made a slight buzzing sound when used with LED bulbs on a dimmer switch. This is where Lite Line really shined (pardon the pun). They did all the legwork in contacting the manufacturers to notify them of the problem, troubleshoot, and find a suitable replacement. Not only that, they swapped out the transformer and dimmer switch (including installation) at no extra cost.
I cannot recommend Lite Line Illuminations enough. They are very friendly & knowledgeable, and their customer service is stellar. I’ll definitely go back the next time I need new lighting.

I stand majorly corrected! After seeing my review of 11/​16, I received a call from Tal.
Bottom line, I have just installed my new lighting fixture, replaced, free of charge.
Now that is what I call service!

I was going to buy a light at Lamps Plus. After waiting for 15 minutes, we decided to go to Light Line. We got instant service which was personable and professional. We ended up buying all our lighting here

We believe that lighting MAKES the house. So when we started our whole house remodel, we didn’t want to skimp on the lighting. Even our interior decorator who helped us w/​coordinating colors admitted she doesn’t know much about the latest lights technology. So are we glad we found Lite Line to design the entire house’s lighting plan and supply all the lighting. Tal gave us an attractive combination of recessed lights, ceiling mounts, pendants, sconces, under cabinet lights, monorail track lights to complement each room’s function and décor. (We didn’t want to end up w/​recessed lights simply lined up that would make our ceiling look like an airport runway.) Tal then provided us w/​energy efficient LED lights wherever we could. More expensive initially but will save us $$ in the long run. His shop is full of beautiful decorative fixtures too. Our friends, real estate agent, and interior decorator have asked where we got our unique sconces, monorail track and ceiling fixtures from. Tal also supplied the entire house’s light switches. Glad we didn’t try to get them ourselves. We wouldn’t have known that certain LED lights require a certain type of switch. For example, he gave us an auto on & off programmable motion sensing switch for the kitchen pantry (handy when your hands are full, or with kids who forget to shut off the light). Also, Lite LIne’s customer service is awesome. They exchanged a couple of defective recessed cans, took back a ceiling fan light when we changed our mind and went w/​a monorail track light instead. When we ordered too many light switches by mistake, Tal took them back and gave us a refund. He even got me the proper switch for kitchen island pendants that I bought from another store. I don’t know if other shops would be as flexible and accommodating. Lance was also very helpful, bundling our 80+ recessed lights together and switches/​bulbs by the room and labeling them so contractors can install in the right room. Everyone there is friendly, patient and helpful. Our remodel is done and the house is nice and bright, and dimmable when we want it. Thanks Lite Line!

We stopped by Light Line Illuminations to inquire about a difficult lighting situation we had — I won’t bore you with all the details. Basically, we weren’t able to find anyone that could come up with a solution. Tal came out and brought several sample lights and came up with a perfect solution — They really know lighting! He was even able to recommend an electrician to complete the installation.
He also gave us great information on the latest in LED lighting. So much has changed — we were amazed!
They have a large selection of the latest fixtures and an extensive knowledge of lighting.
I would highly recommend Light Line Illuminations. It is rare to find this level of service and expertise.

My mom and I stopped in here looking for sconces during our afternoon in Los Gatos. We were happily surprised by the selection and the wonderful service! Lance came up to us and started helping us, and his expertise and good humor was evident from the first moment. What a nice guy! He helped us pick out a sconce, and he let us take the glass element home to test it out on our wall. It fit perfectly in our house, so when we came to return it we decided to order the set.
While there, we decided to look for the lights for our formal dining room– we’ve been looking for 8 years. This time, Lance referred us to Maya, saying she had more expertise. She was lovely! She gave us some great advice, and even had us considering options we didn’t even know existed! She took the time (Lance did too of course) to get to know our taste and try to understand the setup of our home. We have a lot of options to consider, but we know that when we make a decision, it will be with Maya and Lance’s help and we will definitely be buying from here! Their expert advice is definitely better than the bland and directionless search online.

Lite Line Illuminations helped us add lighting to our townhouse, which we tried to do for two years. We couldn’t find the right people for the job until my husband visited Lite Line and spoke to Tal Mashhadian.
Tal has an extensive knowledge of LED lighting and was the first of several electricians/​lighting designers who came to our house to suggest both recessed lights for reading/​general lighting, and a track to highlight the art in our living room. All of the previous electricians suggested either all recessed lighting or all track lighting. Neither would have been ideal in our unusually shaped living room. When Tal suggested both, it seemed so obvious. Now that everything has been installed, we can see that the lighting configurations he suggested for our living room, bedroom, and kitchen fit our needs perfectly.
Lite Line has a great selection of lights and fixtures and, instead of just throwing a catalog with 500 pages of lights and fixtures at us, Tal made very helpful suggestions. He also recommended the electrician, Mike Bassi of Tri-​Phase Electric, who installed the lights and put them on two circuits like we wanted. We’ve experimented with different wattage and beam spread angle bulbs in the track fixture, and Tal has pleasantly exchanged bulbs and ordered items for us when necessary. I would give Lite Line 10 starts if I could.
At some point we plan to replace bathroom lighting fixtures, and we will definitely go back to Lite Line.

What a great shop! They have the most beautiful lighting fixtures I’ve ever seen. Over the past decade we’ve been slowly renovating and keep coming back for unique lighting. Their incredibly attentive service really helped me brainstorm and figure out exactly what was right for each situation. When one of our pendants stopped working a couple of years ago, Tal explained over the phone exactly how to take it down, and we brought it to the shop and he fixed it quickly. Works like a charm ever since! Fantastic service, incredible selection, definitely worth giving them a try!

Needed some replacement parts for a Tech rail system that was in a house I bought. Tal was very helpful in figuring out what I needed and had the parts in stock.

Lite Line is my number one choice for lighting!

I came to Lite Line during my new construction to help figure out my lighting plan. Not only was the selection of fixtures great, but they helped me figure out the whole layout of my lighting. I went with LED recessed lights and was able to see quite a few in action so I could decide which one would work the best. They said I can even borrow some fixtures and hang them up at home before deciding on which one I want.
They explained everything very clearly and were always available to speak with my contractor to answer any questions. Even with the main job done they were there to help with any small hitches that came up.
I highly recommend them for anyone needed just a simple light or if you’re building a brand new house.

Over time, four of my great room’s many low voltage halogen light fixtures broke. I went in to check out replacement options. Tal pointed me in the right direction for replacements. He also took the time to explain how to dismantle and re-​assemble a low voltage pendant fixture.
I got home and was struggling with the pendant fixture setup. Gave Tal a ring and got more answers and he emailed me a how-​to video with step-​by-​step instructions for cutting and re-​connecting the cable.
The hand holding helpout is much appreciated. Tal knows his stuff.

I recently purchased LED can lights and pendants from Lite Line based on the recommendation from the electrician that we were using for the installation.
This shop stands out because the owners are very knowledgable (especially about leading edge LED lighting), are extremely helpful and are very flexible in supporting the installers as needed to get the job done within the time constraints.
The store has an incredible selection of very artistic pendant lighting that you just won’t see elsewhere along with a great program that enables you to try different lights in your house so you can see what they look like prior to placing the final order.
Tal’s expertise and suggestions shaped my purchase decisions for both the LED can and LED pendant lights.

We purchased some great pendant lights for our kitchen at this store. We were going through a remodel and just happened by, so we purchased them.
However, a year later one of them quit working. I brought it back to Lite Line and asked if they could fix it. They said yes, it would be a 25.00 fee. I said fine. He said, why don’t you walk around and give us a few minutes. I came back a half hour later, the guy who fixed it doesn’t even greet me, he turns to the lady sitting next to him and says 45.00.
What? He goes off to help someone who is looking at new lighting and she tells me no, he couldn’t have said 25. It should be 65.00. What??? Ok at this point I’m frustrated and Mr. Fix it is still ignoring me.
It was not worth my time to sit around and wait. I paid the 49.00 and left. I will not go back. You can find beautiful lights at Wright Lighting and fireplace on San Carlos in San Jose.
That will be where you will find me for my lighting needs in the future.

Well, this is my secret place. You will get the best lighting in the world here. I’m not kidding. Here is why. This family owned shop is on the VERY cutting edge of lighting. Anything LED that is out and sometimes not even out yet is here. Tal is the best at what he does and he has all the lighting you could ever want. I’m not even sure how I could make him sound better, but I can try. One of the things my company does is bring high end lighting to my clientele. Well this is where I get it. And the one thing my clients have said is that he is courteous and very knowledgeable. I send as many people here to see how they can improve not only their lighting, but save money by getting the highest energy efficient lighting around. I have seen tons of stores all over the state. It’s my job to know what the best is, and this by far is the best lighting store in California. No doubt.
