I love this store! If you are looking for unique gifts, this is the place in Los Gatos! I love going into this store over the holidays, they really do a great job of decorating and merchandising both their fall and holiday product. I was surprised to read the review about not getting greeted right away. I guess that is just perception. Sometimes merchants will give you a few minutes to find your way around the store before they «greet» you. I don’t find this to be an issue at all, but I guess some people are just sensitive. If you ask for assistance, which I have done, the staff is very warm and friendly. This store makes Santa Cruz Avenue in LG what it is, unique and special!

I stopped into this lil shop today after a visit to our fave coffee shop which we frequently visit. As I walked in, a lady (the owner?) was RIGHT at the front door working on a display & did not bother to greet me in any way. We crossed paths again as I was making my way around the store & she AGAIN just ignored me! I felt pretty uncomfortable by this point so I cut my visit short. As I made my way to the exit GUESS who was there. yep! And STILL NO acknowledgement. No «hello», no «good morning», no «welcome». Not even a smile back in return (yes, I still smiled at her). NOTHING. And she DEFINITELY saw me. It’s not like the place was busy. there was only 2 other ladies in the far back looking at clothing. Not a warm & inviting atmosphere AT ALL. just some cute over priced items.
Overall, RUDE! I will NOT be back to visit, nor recommend this place to anyone. Bummer, but I will happily take my business elsewhere to one of the other adorable shops nearby.
A little advice, a quick «hello» & «welcome» would help. Even better, «is there anything I can help you find?». you’d definitely find & keep repeat customers if you’d be WAY nicer. Geez.

It is a fun local store to get great home décor, presents and something for yourself too. Great sales help too!

Los Gatos Company is my favorite store in all of downtown. Everyone who works there is so helpful, it is full of items you don’t see anywhere else, and I never feel pressured to buy anything. The store is a «must see» every season because the owner goes all out with decorations and creative ideas. Whenever I have a guest from out of town I take them to the store so they can see the unique gifts, home décor, greeting cards, and clothes. I have had the exact opposite experience of one of the other reviewers who complained. When I took my little grand niece in the store she accidentally broke an ornament. The owner could not have been nicer, was so reassuring to my little visitor and to me and did not charge me for the item. In a time when you see so much of the same merchandise in stores it’s fun to go to a place that features unusual things to admire and sometimes buy. Oh! Their CDs are amazing.

Fun little place. I always find stuff I really like in here… every season! It’s a trusty place to find a gift. You’ll always find something.

I wish I could give them 0 stars. The owner is so rude, I refuse to ever shop here again. Went in to take a look with my little one and the customers were so warm and welcoming to him. I decide to purchase a small light up snowman for my 5 year old. Female behind counter who I believed to be the owner was upset I used a credit card to pay for the item. Sorry spent the cash I had at the GREAT BEAR COFFEE HOUSE, just a few ago and did not have enough for snowman, whats wrong with using a credit or debt card. Extremely rude lady. She should be ashamed the way she acted in front of other customers who did not enjoy here comments of my method of payment.

What a fabulous store! There’s something for everyone – even my impossibly difficult to shop for husband. I love the way they decorate for every holiday and make you feel right at home with their friendly service.
When in Los Gatos, it’s a must!

Huge selection of collectibles, seasonal and jewelry as well as unique home décor items. Its a «full house» of items that you don’t want to rush through. Take your time and you might even have to do a couple of loops around the store to see it all!

This place absolutely delights me. They have such a fabulous selection of decorative things for the home, and unique gifts, I can never walk in and walk out empty handed.
I go a few times every year, since I don’t shop in Los Gatos all the time, but I make a point of going every year for Christmas because its one of the most magical and awesome shops for Christmas to me.
Every year they go to town decorating their shop with their outrageous and cool finds that they carefully find, and I always find some special treasure there. I just went again this year yesterday and I just walked around with a bit of perma-​drool on my face. It was one of those rare times I felt totally dissatisfied with my life because I didn’t have huge wads of cash to buy every single thing they had in their store.
I have gone other times of the year and have also been swept up in the beautiful and lovely items they have for sale. Whoever does their buying has such a pretty style and sense of fun.
There are a few rare stores that make me feel that cozy and happy to blissfully spend my money away, and this store just puts all the letters in the word to spell HAPPY. LOVE LOVE LOVE this gem of a shop in Los Gatos!
