A big thumbs up to Doctor Christianne Strickland. She is amazing! She is very thorough and is so good with her little patients. She is very kind and she truly cares and takes the time to go through every little detail. I highly recommend her to anybody and everybody. Her office staff is a great team as well. They work together and they are all very caring and kind as well!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about these amazing doctors! We have 2 daughters (6 & 3). We are oficially patients of Dr. Stricklands. Really like her. She is competent, kind and even given that she is younger (30’s??) she has lots of gravitas and commands respect. I think she is a great role model for my girls. As tbeyget older, I hope that they will feel confortable talking to her and I am, in turn very confortable with her judgement. She is wonderful!
We have had the opportunity to see Dr. Hughes once. Though my interaction was minimal, she left a good impression.
We had the p of seeing Dr. Ferrari 2x’s. The first was the day before Thanksgiving. My youngest had a slight fever and honestly, the idea of having to take my kid to urgent care on Thanksgiving and feed my in laws turkey was too much! I felt a little silly, but i wanted to avoid a sick kid on a holiday. She was great & did not make me feel like a hysterical mother.
Fast forward today…13 days post our pre-​Thanksgiving visit. y kiddo was sick again now with a high fever:(Dr. Strickland was not available, so we made an appt w/​Dr.Ferrari. Long story short, she figured out that there was something «up my daughters nose». She went up there and dug out a ¼″ piece of plastic sippy cup straw that my 3yo had shoved up her nose. «Foreign Object Infection». Yikes! To top it all off, she had a very sweet discussion with my girl about «next time you do that, tell Mommy»! We (not her… WE) decided to hold off on antibiotics until we can check-​in after 24 hours. I really appreciated her talking that theough with me. I’m by no means an antibiotic pusher, but I also don’t want my ba ies to suffer.
All of these doctors are very well educated, as well. Personally, very important!
I feel line if my kids were in really bad shape, any one of these doctors would do whatever was necessary to keep them alive. At the same time, they are also women and moms and that means something! I really appreciate their insight and expertise.
And the other lafies in the office? Love, live, love:)
Lastly I want to say that the reviews who give infavoraereviews based on some perceived nagative interaction with office staff should be ashamed of yourselves!!! These are doctors! We trust them with our lives. Get over it. The office deal with moms with sick kids all day long. Cut them slack! And honestly, they work with children… sometimes, you might have to wait. I don’t mind waiting sometimes because I know if my kid is in really bad shape, they will spend time with me. Count your blessing that your kid is well enough to wait.

This review does NOT reflect any of the doctors. This review is specifically for the front desk/​receptionist. It is your responsibility to know what insurances are acceptable with the practice. If you don’t know… NEVER tell a new patient it is their responsibility to go find out. I called several practices and this is the only practice that refused to go the extra step for new patients. All the other practices took the time to find out and call me back to see if I was either covered or Not. Needless to say… i found a doctor for my baby. The extra mile the other practice took really made a difference in selecting a doctor for my child. I hope someone from South Bascom Pediatrics reads this and make the change… otherwise your clienteles will not grow.

I’ve been taking my kids to Dr. Ferrari for 19 years, back before she had her own practice. She’s the best doctor out there and we love her. We’ve seen Dr. Strickland a couple of times recently and love her too. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I was very happy to get my kids out of here. They were not BAD, but they also were not GREAT.
I will not mention names, but we have dealt with all of the doctors in the practice. The first, while she was very nice-​was very young and did not seem very knowledgable. It felt like she was «guessing» alot of the time and she always had to consult with the older more «seasoned» doctors. She actually misdiagnosed our son while he had pnuemonia, and he later had to be hospitalized. The second was a major B. We only dealt with her once and never again. The last-​very cold at first, but then we warmed up to her. She was alright-​but she did a HORRIBLE job on our son’s circumcision. To this day everytime I change his diaper I curse her.
Front desk: There are 2 girls in the front answering phones/​booking appointments and what not. One gal is super duper friendly and the other is a major B-​even more than the B doctor. She has the kind of face you just want to punch and an attitude to match.
All the nurses are nice and it is super easy to get an appointment. We are with Kaiser now and Ive never been happier with the care that my boys have received. So thats all…3/5

My wife and I have been taking our children here for a number of years. We love the doctors’ personal touch and attention to care. Our children see Dr. Strickland. She’s fantastic with children and helping us as parents take better care for our children. She’s helped us on so many occasions. The other doctors are also very knowledgable and have occasionally provided care for our children. If you’re looking for a place that cares about you and your children this is the place. It’s intimate, focused and we are happy to have found it when we did.

I’ve been going to this office for about 7 years now. Overall I am happy with the office and Dr. Ferrari. There have been times when we have needed to get in touch with Dr. Ferrari after hours and she was very responsive. In those times of need it was great to get in touch with her. My 3 kids are all healthy and are all current patients.
My only negatives are that there can be a very long wait depending on the season and some times I feel pushed to get the recommended vaccinations. I also don’t always feel the freedom to ask questions without judgment placed on me, but that is why I am asking. Obviously I am not the expert.
All in all I am happy enough to continue going. The staff are all very nice, especially the nurses. It’s great when they can remember who you are without looking at your chart.
