Love this store! The owner is very friendly and will always work with you on a price. One of my favorite places to shop in Louisville, especially for mid-​century furnishings!

This place is over priced especially for what they have it’s rediculous. I couldn’t believe how much they told me for a statue. I’m sure it wasn’t even real.

While moving to Louisville in August, I bought a couple of nice pieces of mid century furniture for our kitchen here. The owner was knowledgable, friendly, and worked with me on getting both the cabinet and the kitchen table set. She welcomed me to Louisville and gave me good information about the area. I had a great furniture shopping experience and I would love to get back here to shop again with my wife.

A Louisville native who moved (and moved, and moved) when she was 18, I have a ‘shortlist’ of places I try hard to get every time I stop through town. Between Elizabeth’s Timeless Attire across the street and 2023 Antiques, this may be the one block I always get to. (Then go have coffee/​dessert at Sweet Surrender down the road)
There’s a lot packed into this medium-​sized vintage boutique — and Bakelite collectors & fans should head directly to the case in the back upstairs, which showcases a serious collection — but I spend my time happily gazing into the front jewelry cases (flashy costume pieces are the focus, but I think if you look long enough you could find most anything) and the museum-​quality assortment of Lucite handbags (I have now bought two here, and have to stop myself from calling them «My Precious» and stroking them covetously.)
There’s also mid-​century furniture and decorative objects, gloves, hats and a few dresses, but oh the handbags handbags handbags handbags oh sorry, was I saying something? I got distracted by LOOKING AT THE PRECIOUS. (Seriously if you have never seen Lucite handbags before, this is such a fun place to check them out. I entered with a mild interest, and left with an absolute fetish.)
This store is aimed at a enthusiast/​collector crowd, and prices are not cheap — but I’ve never seen anything not in lovely condition, and I’ve loved every purchase I’ve made here. (And some things, like gloves and smaller items, can actually be a total steal) The owner is both fun and very knowledgeable — definitely a place to strike up a conversation while you browse.

Visited a bunch of antique shops while in Louisville last summer, this place by far had the best selection of classic accessories, especially jewelry and pins and brooches specifically. The owner has exquisite taste and was knowledgeable and informative about all of the period items she had. I only wish she would create a website so I could shop from home in NY! You must stop if you’re in the area and have a flair for classic style.

A great spot for all things mid century modern! Lovely vintage designer furniture, cool bakelite. Wonderful clothing too. if you love the show «Mad Men», this store is right up your alley. Just driving by the window displays makes me very happy.
