Zoey was very helpful and suggested different dresses for a wedding I’m attending soon. I also had my daughter with me and Zoey turned on Doc McStuffins so I could look around and try on my clothes. So helpful for me to shop without having to worry about my child running around the store or touching all the beautiful jewelry. I didn’t find a dress this time, and I will be back to look again soon, Zoey told me you would be getting a new shipment in. Thank you again

I love finding new places to shop that have some great local flavor to them, and Apricot Lane is just that kind of place. In fact, I first heard of it while admiring my friend’s necklace, which had a tiny pendant cutout of the state of Kentucky hanging from a delicate chain. What I wouldn’t have given to have a reminder of my home state while I was living away! Tucked in near the Comfy Cow in Westport Village, Apricot Lane offers a great array of affordable clothing, accessories, and trinkets for the home. About the store itself, it’s one of a franchise that incorporates some local items from the area in each of its locations. Being in Kentucky, this store had the adorable state pendant I was looking for as well as a number of items from local Kentucky merchants. I sniffed and swooned at the Kentucky Christmas candle I found(made in Lexington), all packaged up in a small box with a jockey graphic on the front and ready for a bow and a spot under the tree this year. Jewelry trees were lined with small baubles and large statement pieces alike, and I did find that Kentucky state pendant, both in silver and gold. Kentucky items aside, there were also some great outfits and a selection of shoes — from flats to boots — to help show off any state swag you pick up while you’re at Apricot Lane. Much to my pocketbook’s chagrin, I’ve found another place with local flair to enrich my wardrobe, and I couldn’t be happier!
