Bizer’s Visionworks Doctors of Optometry

While the staff was fast and very cordial and Dr. Was spot on, in the end they wanted me to pay $ 700 for basic plastic frames with everything included. When I declined to pay that much, they knocked it down to $ 500 and I declined again. Then she knocked it down to $ 400 and I was still not going to pay. Prices are absolutely ridiculous. I’ll never go back to the Breckinridge Lane location.

I’ve had the worst experience at Vision Works Middletown. I needed to order new contacts and asked they could mail to me. Weeks went on and no contacts. I called the store and they said oh their here. I said paid to have them shipped since I live out of town. So they ended up shipping them when received it was two boxes for left eye. I needed one 6 month box for both eyes. I called them and told them the mistake and they refused send me more and told me I had to come to store. I get to store and I noticed the prescription was different and they said no that’s right. We’ll I get home to see the orginal box that’s almost empty and I was right prescriptions were different. I absolutely done going back. I have been a long customer of their ever since Bizers and won’t be back. I have never seen so many mistakes on one thing in my life.

A name change can mean a world of difference, and then again, sometimes not. Between this new set of specs and my previous set, Bizer’s is now Visionworks with the added «Doctors of Optometry» to make it sound all official-​like.
My previous experience at Bizer’s, much like Brad N.‘s recent encounter, was overly long and a bit of a pain. But being a glutton for punishment and fairly optimistic, I opted to try again.
They’ve re-​worked the floorplan and added some interior signage to help improve the traffic flow. It seems they’ve also added staff to improve wait times. Does it work? Well, honestly, my experience was excellent. Granted, I was the first one through the door, had an eye exam, picked out my frames with the cute sales rep and was out the door an hour later with my initial set of glasses ready for pickup just an hour after that. I have them on now as I write this. They make the words all crisp and less fuzzy. Thanks Bize., Visionworks.

Obviously appointments mean nothing here. They treat everyone like a walk in. I’ve been here over an hour after my appointment time and have watched people go through that have come in after me. My suggestion is to get here as early as possible and prepare to wait for half the day…

great service, nice people. excellent place for exams, contacts and lenses. definately will be going here now for all of that and i suggest you do the same. Only thing i would suggest is making an appointment. i did a walk in and it took quite a while because they were so busy.
