This was an Instagram find, believe it or not. They post daily specials regularly and their $ 3.00 wells finally got me in here last Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised upon entering. We were greeted right away with a big«hello, sit wherever you like». We were greeted again, right away when we sat down. Our waitress even asked us our names. She said she was new, but she was fast, friendly and funny so it was honestly hard to tell. I gotta say, the place was pretty busy for just two girls but they rocked it out anyway. I was really impressed with how they interacted with all of the patrons, I can see why this place would have a lot of regulars. I got a few whiskey sours, Logan got a few Fall Citys’ on tap(3.50 on Friday) and we shared a heaping pile of the Supreme Nachos(9.00) and we really liked everything. The nachos we’re good, everything was fresh and there was plenty to share. I can’t wait to come back and get a burger and some seasoned waffle fries, the people next to us got some and they smelled so good, the wings, too! I definitely can’t wait for those, either. They have a ton of made from scratch sauces to try and I believe are often on 49 cent specials. It’s a sports bar, they’ve got great TVs, seats everywhere, including outdoor seating and a bar next to the window for people watching. Everything is really clean and inviting. Just a cool place if you’re a UK or UofL fan, and if you’re like me, and don’t really care about sports, they’ve got other stuff on TV, too and its easy to forget that you’re in a designated sports bar. The crowd was of the more mature variety and everything was pretty peaceful. Honestly my kind of place. Overall: This bar/restaurant is advertised as a sports bar with«hot chicks» but that’s not it at all. Sure, they do play sports on the TVs and have specials those days and yes, they do employ pretty girls(they also employ lots of other people, too), but they’re not airheads,(like someone else said in their review) they work hard and are friendly and its just a nice place to have a few drinks and a burger. Its a good place for anybody in my opinion. I honestly can’t wait to go back and I fully intend to put this in our weekly/biweekly rotation. So don’t judge this place by its cover and look out for their awesome specials!

My burger was so good, bacon, cooked perfectly to order and so juicy but huge. I brought half home. That’s not a complaint. Leigh had the same and ate all of his. The waffle fries were delish. Cooked just right but enough for a small army. Leigh didn’t finish his either. Again, not complaining. The pretzel bites were sinfully outrageous and totally original. I’ve never had anything like them. Worth the trip just for these. It’s a sports bar. TVs side by side. All around. 23 total. Two even had NHL on, which made Leigh a very happy camper. If you’re a people watcher the bar windows in front are for you. Extensive bar and beer selections. $ 1.50 brat special yesterday. The service is prompt, friendly and relaxed. All in all I highly recommend. Perfect for date night or a night out with the guys/gals. Or game night!!! They have rear patio seating as well. Weather permitting.

Went there for dinner this evening. The food was delicious. I sat at the bar along the Windows which is great for people watching. Music is really loud so be prepared to yelled most of the dinner. The burgers and fries make up for it.

This is a good place to watch games. Tons of TVs and the space is well put together. There are better sports bars in the neighborhood, however, in terms of food quality and beer prices.(Shenanigan’s, for example.) I ordered the kicking chicken sandwich. I was intrigued by the spicy grilled chicken topped with fried banana peppers(which I’ve never had before). The sandwich was on the small side, but it was served with about a pound of french fries. The fries were great: hot, crispy, with good spice on the waffle fries. The sandwich, however, was really bland and forgettable. Sunday beer prices, too, could be better. 5 bud lights for 12 $ is OK, but bud light really shouldn’t cost more than 2 $ anywhere.(Pitchers of beer on Sundays are 7 $ at Shenanigans, or four 16 ounce beers, or 6.75 $ pitchers at Spring Street.)

Atmosphere is great. Clean, inviting sports bar is something this part of the highlands greatly needed. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par in my opinion(been there twice now). I would go back for the bar only — not the food. If this place could turn their food around, it would be a go-to sports bar for me.

Very disappointed in the food, atmosphere and service. The double dip wings were not so good, it seemed like Lowrey seasoning salt was the«secret» ingredient which was way too salty to be a passed off as a rub. We got one singular pathetic piece of celery with a large order of wings for $ 9.99. You can’t spare some celery? The place looks like it needs some new tables or a sitting area. Tables are crammed in awkwardly and not a good fit. No, I don’t want to eat off paper plates either. The drink special was appealing but the margarita was awful. I told the waitress they were very weak and her respond was basically«what do you expect since they are on special»? I thought a special meant the same quality at a lower price not cheap watered down versions that requires an order of an extra tequila shot to make a decent drinkable beverage. If I wanted to order sour mix alone to drink I would. On a busy night in the Highlands, this place was dead and no one sitting outside. Hope they improve the experience.

Friendly service. Justin was great and very attentive. Good was above average. My burger was cooked perfectly. My husbands wings needed some extra sauce but they were flavorful and moderately hot(he got the insane). Got the fried pickles as an app and it was good. Beer was cheap and atmosphere was pleasant. We will go back.

Stumbled upon The Shed on accident, decided we needed the $ 1.99 margarita and boy was it worth it. We also got $ 1.50 brats that came with onions, peppers, and sauerkraut on top, they were delish! Very reasonable prices. Nice outdoor seating if you want to watch the business on bardstown road!

I love coming here to watch sports. They put on hockey during playoffs for us without question which is always hard to find for me. Food is good and inexpensive. The Jason burger is the best! They have specials for every day of the week. The staff is friendly and helpful. This is definitely a go to for pub food and sports night! My only bummer is that they don’t sell brownies here ;)

My wife got the brisket nachos. There was very little brisket or cheese. I got a turkey melt with waffle fries. I gave the low rating because the food was cold when it arrived. Service was very slow. The staff was hustling but they were overwhelmed. This is extremely disappointing because the place was half empty… On bardstown rd… On a Friday night… With only two servers. We have been to the shelbyville road location and have a consistently better experience. I hope the bardstown rD location can get better as it is close to my house.

This was our first visit. My first impression was that the place was set up very well. There are plenty of TVs to watch games and we enjoyed a Friday evening dinner. I got the cod sandwich with waffle fries. It came with lettuce and tomato and a side of tartar sauce. It was a fried sandwich and was not over done or too crispy. We also had the barbecue wings and honey wings. We didn’t care for the honey wings to much. The wings were nothing to go out of your way for. Our server was very good very polite and very attentive to our needs! Five stars for service! We will be back.

Had a lot of choices on Bardstown road but it was late one Friday night and this place looked inviting so we gave it a try. The wait staff was as nice as you could want. Very friendly. I had the beer cheese hamburger and my daughter had the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Both were very good. Lots of flavor and I recommend them. The cole slaw side and season waffle fries were just ok. Nothing to brag about there. Another nice addition to Bardstown road.

Had to change my review … Have been here 5 more times and the place rocks. They have $ 2 pints(every Tuesday), ladies night and $ 432oz Bud Lights. I’ve had two burgers, the BBQ Makers Mark and Beer Cheese. Both excellent. Good waffle fries, decent wings and the best nachos in town(the brisket nachos). Also, one lovely staff of females…

Just a fun place to watch a game. This is a sports bar, b y definition. Beers in Buckets and walls lined with television screens. Wings, Salads, and Nachos; they do offer a lunch special, if you follow them on Instagram and Facebook, they post a photo of it daily.

Ordered the brisket nachos which were missing the actual brisket. There was a lot of nacho chips, and the sauce was really good, but I would say there was about 2 ounces of actual brisket hiding around the nachos. We asked our server if they always look like this or if maybe it was a mistake. She said no, that’s the usual amount. We decided to order more brisket, which costs extra. Then the nachos were very good. But disappointed with the original product. The other food that we ordered was okay. Service was great, and the atmosphere was fun, as everyone was watching basketball.

Awesome stuff and decent food for a bar. Their buffalo chicken salad is delicious as well as their quesadillas. They always have a special and tons of TVs if you need a place to catch a game, any game. This place will pick up soon, very soon.
