Not for the faint of heart… I go here for the meat. It’s fresh … super fresh meat … and cheap. They go to local farms in Indiana and procure their animals. They go once a week and when demand is higher they go twice a week. Oh, and did I tell you the meat is very cheap! Like, no way for this quality of freshness(even disregard freshness) can you get anything similar at Krogers. So what’s the catch? Well there are two. They mostly serve an immigrant community that doesn’t care for the general cuts of meat that we have in the US so if you want a specific cut of meat(sirloin, chuck, porter house) be ready to come in and explain it — because they’ll take half a cow out and ask you where to cut(like I said, if you’re not used to knowing where your meat comes from, come with an empty stomach, because this may be too much for you). This goes for chicken also, they sell it by the bird — no packets of wings or thighs here. The second catch is that they don’t really pack the super fresh meat they give you well — so you should use it within a few days, unless you have a vacume seal at home. All in all, this place is awesome as long as you know what you’re getting into. Meat!
