Unfortunately about 2.5 months after buying my couch, the springs underneath the couch broke through the bottom of the couch. Simply by sitting in it. I mean, I know the couch is old, but I am bummed. I’m going to give these ladies a call and see what they have to say about it. I’ll update once I get in touch with them.

There is a cool as hell old spinning wheel straight out of Rumpelstiltskin. I really, really wanted a place it would work in my house. But I don’t have one, so hurry before someone else does.
So, yay, another cute little furniture shop/​antique/​consignment right on Preston. This strip is perfect for a girls’ day out. And this particular store is small but on it. The prices were reasonable and the stuff was fun. I found a beautiful large picture/​old ad that was nicely framed, great shape, for 20 bucks. It is now perfectly tying together my dining room. The owner was there when I went in which is always a good sign for me. She was friendly and helpful without ever being pushy. Ooh, and if you have cool furniture and decorations, she also takes consignment items. So go have an elfin’ good time with all of the Christmas stuff on sale this week.
