Glaser’s Collision Centers

This was my first experience with a collision center, but I’m pretty sure they shouldn’t be run this way. It all started with the estimate: no big deal, pretty straightforward, I was rear ended so it’s a rear bumper and reset the seat belt safety system. We set a date for me to drop the vehicle off several days after the estimate and insurance approval and agreement of payment, assuming they had ordered the parts. Shop time was estimated at like 6 hours. Cool, no big deal, I’ll get it back in a day or two.
9 days later…
I made several inquiries for updates and couldn’t get a confirmation, just speculation on the timeline. Evidently they wait until the vehicle is in possession to order parts. Tons of time wasted through this method. I finally get the vehicle back in my possession and it’s all good for a day, and the airbag light chimes back on. Fantastic.
I re-​schedule yet ANOTHER day to get the vehicle in to diagnose the issue, and they had it back to me that day.
Wrong.
The light come back on the very next day, and I have to schedule another time to bring it in AGAIN. I drop off the vehicle a third time and simply ask, «Are we going to keep guessing, or will it actually be fixed?» They get on defense to my question that they don’t know what the issue is, and not sure how long it will take to fix it.
I thought 10 days was enough, I guess not. They’ve had my vehicle another two days now, and no definite answer at this point.
With the decades of experience they possess, it clearly hasn’t been mastered.
