We specialize in assessing and tutoring children with Dyslexia and difficulty learning to read. We use the Barton Reading & Spelling System as our proven approach to learning. The Barton Reading & Spelling System is designed as intense intervention for students who struggle to easily and accurately decode words when reading. The Barton System can be used with students as young as kindergarten and can be used on older students or adults.

History

Established in 2005.

Debbie’s youngest child Michael greatly struggled with dyslexia. Michael graduated from the Barton tutoring and upon his graduation Michael was deemed to have surpassed his peers in his ability to read. Debbie impressed with the results in her own son became a Barton tutor. She Began her tutoring in California a decade ago and has since relocated to Kentucky and began tutoring in Kentucky and Indiana.

Business Owner

Debbie Gollnick is the owner of Karpos Tutoring. Debbie is a mother of five children and has been involved in teaching and education for over 35 years. She holds the highest level of certification, the Masters Level, with Barton and is also certified to perform screenings. Debbie has changed the lives of many children by helping them to overcome their dyslexia and become successful academically and beyond.
