Many people have helped shape me to become the woman I am today. I did not have a lot of

material things growing up and no one ever explained to me what credit was. When I

turned 18, I needed a co-​signer for my first apartment. I earned my real estate license in

2005. I was not a very successful buyers agent since my credit was not that great. However,

I was a very good investor’s agent for when they had homes to flip. I easily marketed to the

right realtors to have a quick turnaround. At the end of 2007 I decided to leave the real

estate industry as the housing crisis came and my first son was born in 2008.

Then came the defining moment in what later became King Financial Repair in the

years to come. I needed to fix my personal credit. My average scores were like most

consumer’s, BAD (519)! It wasn’t my fault! No one explained to me what to do and what
