It’s a mix of everything my go to spot for tools & supplies. Price wise it is on par with other home improvement places. They have a return policy that is very good. Online ordering ship to store is a way to go if you are looking for something out of the ordinary.

We needed to replace our washer and dryer that had just gone out. We like going to Lowe’s for appliances because they always have competitive prices and will deliver free and haul away the old. When we arrived there was a sales person right away to help but, allowed us time to look at our pace with no pressure. We decided on a matching pair that were on sale and he helped us get it all written up with the extra hoses and ducts, etc. that we needed. We also had received a coupon for $ 50 in the mail which we had no trouble using. Within three days both were delivered, installed and running with no problems. Very satisfied with everything

For a big box hardware store (like HD) they are very, very similar. HD will be cheaper on 5 items but then Lowes will be just as much cheaper on 5 different items so my experience is that it evens out. It really comes down to which store you are closer to and then down to whether you have a brand preference of not as they have many of the same brands but then each store will have exclusives.
For a hardware store it’s clean, staff is friendly, knowledgable.

I hate to write a review of a nationwide, chain, hardware store… but we had a great experience at this Lowe’s: We came early summer looking for a AC window unit and knowing nothing about them. A gentlemen helped us, gave us a discount when our model was out of stock, and helped us all the way to the checkout.
We’ll be back.
