Dr. Chariker has extensive experience in general oncologic and general pediatric surgery that he brings to his plastic surgery practice. His training in microsurgery also provides him with an added component for reconstructive surgery in both the adult and pediatric population. He was fellowship trained in hand surgery at the Kleinert Hand Institute and has extensive experience at the Navy’s premier health care center in Virginia. Dr. Chariker received his plastic surgery training at the University of Louisville. Dr. Chariker is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and board certified in Plastic Surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Chariker’s background in reconstructive surgery has provided him with an essential understanding of the cosmetic patient. He believes that a short-sighted approach to many cosmetic problems leads to an incorrect solution. He has extensive experience in both facial and general cosmetic surgery.
