This is definitely one of those places that you can’t judge a book by its cover! The outside is not very inviting and usually the 2 picnic tables have locals and their pets hanging out. However, they are all very friendly and new faces are always welcome. When you walk in you will be greeted with nascar posters, pool tables, and the TV on whatever show the regulars at the bar enjoy watching. Beware — it is cash only but most pitchers are $ 4-​$ 6. Some of the tables are broken, its a little dusty in the corners, and sometimes the bartenders take 10 minutes smoke breaks… but I think its totally worth it if you are looking for a hole-​in-​the-​wall hideaway! And — its located right next to Camp Taylor park so if you are on a kickball league this is the perfect post-​game hangout.
