History

Established in 2003.

Founded by Steven Hall in 2003, The Furniture Depot was started as a 1300 sq. ft. mattress warehouse. Shortly thereafter, TFD started offering bedroom furniture. As demand grew for furniture, an additional 500 sq ft warehouse was used for storage until 2006. In late 2006, The Furniture Depot moved to a 5,800 sq ft warehouse, catalog ordering center and showroom at 815 Ulrich Ave.

We carry Stearns and Foster, Sealy Posturepedic, Sealy Hybrid, Serta Five Star Mattress Line, iComfort, iSeries, Serta Perfect Sleeper, Simmons BeautyRest, Bed Boss Memory Foam, HealthCare Memory Foam, and many other mattress types available.

We carry a full selection of MALOUF Fine Linens; Z Pillows, Sleep Tite mattress covers and Structure bed frames.

We currently represent Coaster Furniture, Hillsdale Furniture, Homelegance, Wynwood, and Liberty Furniture.

Currently open to the public 10 – 2 Saturdays, Monday-​Friday by appointment only, and closed Sunday.

Business Owner

Steven started The Furniture Depot in 2003 after working in sales and marketing for over 3 decades. He has over 10 years in the bedding retail industry and has brought warehouse marketing to a new level in the city of Louisville. Since TFD began, many small businesses have come and gone, but the service and selection that he offers is unsurpassed. He is a gentleman and a scholar.
