Norton Community Medical Associates

I would rate it lower if possible. My wife is already a client with Katherine Dotson, MD of this group. I called (waited over 35 minutes) to make an appointment and was told the earliest date available was in August (it’s April 13 now). I guess they really don’t want new clients!

It took me a while to find a GP who was taking new patients and not booking out more than two months in advance, but I wound up seeing someone here at Norton CMA and I was really impressed. The staff is very organized, friendly, and professional. My doctor spent over a half an hour with me on my first visit getting to know me, listening to my health history and concerns, and prioritizing tests and avenues of action. When I checked out the administrator I met with was very familiar with area specialists, availability, and who may or may not take my insurance. I was seen on time on my first visit and when I went back for blood tests on a different day I was in and out in no time. The location itself is very clean and has a convenient parking lot with drive up access to the front door.
