I eat at POTBELLY very often and it is one of my favorite places to get a quick bite. The sandwiches are great and the workers can make them faster then subway. I always get the WRECK and it is the best sandwich I’ve ever had! Every once in awhile I’ll get a shake, it is good, but a bit pricey for the size. The atmosphere is cool and chill. Every time I go to POTBELLY I’m satisfied with the quality of the meal and the workers hospitality. #ProfessionalYelper

Ordered online for pickup. They accepted my order and charged my card, but when I arrived they literally did not have a single thing we ordered. It’s not just that it wasn’t ready, they were pretty much out of food. Manager tried to «make it up to» me by offering day old cookies. No thanks.

I work in the building where Potbelly Sandwich Shop is located downtown, so it’s easy for me to frequent the place. In reality I don’t get lunch there too often, but when I don’t have any other plans it’s definitely a great go-to place to grab a quick lunch. It’s also a great spot to grab a snack, because they have Zapp’s chips(yum!), delicious cookies, and lots of specialty sodas(like Ale 8, cream soda, etc.) to choose from. Oh yeah, and they have milkshakes. Mmmmm. The menu isn’t huge, but they have several different sandwich and salad options. They also have different bread options, which is nice because it gives you the ability to change up what could otherwise be a bland sandwich option. I always go for the flatbread, because Potbelly’s is awesome. They have a great menu item called the Grilled Chicken & Cheddar. It’s absolutely delicious. Or, you can always opt for the typical ham, turkey, etc. The best thing about their sandwiches is that they go through a toaster oven just before receiving toppings, so they’re always hot and fresh. The toppings are pretty typical stuff, except for the hot peppers. Man, I love those hot peppers! I seriously always get extra and you can even buy a jar of them for around $ 7.00. They’re SO good. They make the sandwiches! I definitely recommend Potbelly Sandwich Shop for a casual lunch downtown; and don’t forget, try the hot peppers!

Great sandwiches. Always get the Mediterranean. I like the extra pepper and onions in there. Don’t need to spice up this sandwich. Fast line fast service. They fill it up pretty good. Same flavor as most places. Lots of seating

Came here on a whim with my spawn and I was pleasantly surprised. We were downtown for an event and neither one of us were craving the outside vendors smörgåsbord of corn dogs, fries, and funnel cakes. I noticed Potbelly’s and decided to give them a try– I’m a sucker for a good sandwich. The ordering system is a bit weird, and the employees are not the friendliest, but I enjoyed my turkey and swiss. The spawn, who rarely eats sandwiches, dug into the half I gave him of mine. That’s saying something!

My first stop in a PotBelly Sandwich Shop was a good one. Needed a quick bite to eat before heading to work and ordered a Turkey Breast with Bacon and all the fixings. Toasted sandwiches are just better. Polite and Speedy service.

For a single line, ordering scheme they move you through pretty quickly and efficiently. Good solid food for a decent price. Salads are plentiful. The Mediterranean sandwich or salad has plenty of chickpeas(i.e. fiber). Good flavors too. The flatty sandwiches work well with the less complicated fare; not so well with items that have a lot of ingredients. They have a take-out app to help you get in and out quickly.

Food is good, but can’t get past a really rude cashier. Asked for a receipt and had it thrown at me.

Ok people I travel all over the country and this one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. But the sandwich I had is not one the menu. Just ask for the BIG8 and trust me you will enjoy.

I was looking for a fast place and happened to walk by. The prices are good and cheap, its a speedy little place thats a bit better than a subway. The inside is decorated really cool! I had a sandwich with Italian meats and actually dipped it in marinara sauce. Potbelly is ideal if you’re looking for a grab and go type lunch. For what it is, a small chain sandwich shop, it’s not so bad! I will be going back this summer if I find myself in a hurry.

My first time in a Potbelly, chosen based on recommendations from the hotel and reviewers. We went at lunch, and while the place was busy, service was quick! A sign said their goal was to get you through the line in just 8 minutes, and they did, even with the lunch rush. I had the roast beef, and it was simple but fresh and tasty. It was also economical — about $ 7 for a large sandwich. Their soda machine had both Coke and Pepsi products. If I lived here, I’d be a regular!

They are fast and friendly but that is it. The menu is boring and the sandwiches are plain and tasteless. But the soups as really good and the chili is awesome

Fast, friendly, great sandwiches! Before I got diagnosed with a gluten allergy, I would get«the wreck» sandwich with extra meat! Now I get it as a salad, and it’s great! If they could make GF bread so I could have a sandwich again, that would be the bomb!

I get lunch here about once a week. There aren’t an overwhelming amount of choices, but if you find something you love, this place is a go-to. For me, it’s the Grilled Chicken and Cheddar sandwich. I love the thin cut strips of chicken. They send all their sandwiches through the toaster before you get to chose your toppings. I always get extra hot peppers. The hot peppers are seriously what makes me crave this place. They are so good. They’re very spicy, so beware. I love spicy food so I really enjoy them. They don’t have«footlongs» so some might consider their original sandwiches small. They recently added a «big» size(I’ve never gotten it so I’m not sure how many inches), but the original size has always been plenty for me(which I would estimate at 6 – 8 inches). I’d rather have an abundance of toppings as opposed to an abundance of bread. This place may not have the frills of some sandwich places… There’s no flavored breads, no fancy toppings or exotic sandwich combinations, but they definitely make a solid sandwich that I crave weekly. Also, they get bonus points in my books for having their calorie content displayed.

Not sure what all the hype’s about but as far as sandwich places go, Potbelly’s just A-OK in my book at best. The interior’s a bit fancier than a Subway or Penn Station, but the sandwich isn’t that far different for me to consider Potbelly’s a go-to spot, especially among the oh-so pricey 4th Street line-up. Between my sandwich, which I believe was«the Wreck», and my son’s which I think was an Italian, both were fairly forgettable. I just can’t recall enough about either to strike a chord, good or bad.

IF I had money, and IF I had the time to devote, I would open one of these here in Anchorage. I really liked the thin bread option that reduced the size of the bun by a third. It really brought out the flavor of the sandwich. I got the Italian sub on regular roll with the works. It was lightly toasted and with all the toppings, it was like eating a pizza. Just divine. Very efficient and friendly service. One of the owners was working the line with a wireless device that relayed to the kitchen. It made the long line much more bearable. The giardiniera was a welcome addition. A Chicago original… nice and spicy!

I planned to meet my guy at the Potbelly Sandwich Shop for lunch across the street from the Hyatt. The subs are all nice and toasty, custom made to order with whatever you want. My guy ordered the Roast Beef and Provolone and I ordered the Tuna Melt. Both were very good, a nice size and inexpensive. They have really good chips, we split a bag of the spicy jalapeño kettle chips. They go perfectly with a good sandwich. They also have a nice soda selection of different drinks, something for everybody. I decided to mix the lemonade and the iced tea from the fountain into an Arnold Palmer. While we are sitting there eating our lunch by the window, the snow starts to fall and covers 4th Street. Great lunch for less than $ 15 for two.
