He was my surgeon when I wad 20. I’m 23 now. My stomach ruptured and he happened to be the surgeon on call or on duty that night. He did an absolutely amazing job. I had to stay in the hospital for close to two months and he always came by to make sure I was doing well and how my recovery was going. He even wrote on a little pillow that the hospital gave me for guests to write on. He also removed my gall bladder for me about a year after the stomach surgery. And for the record the surgery on my stomach was called An Emergency Gastric bypass. I was 120 pounds 5 foot 6 and when I left the hospital I weighed 90 pounds. Grossly underweight. He did an amazing job though. I recommend him to absolutely anyone for any surgery.

A true professional and a great surgeon. My dad had 7 inches of his colon removed and the surgery went extremely smoothly with no complications. He conducted the whole surgery laparoscopic which shows to the skill level of the surgeon. Despite the fact that he had already worked a 12 hour day at the hospital he did not sort us any time. Dr. Pokorny treated the surgery as if he had a tooth ache, but maintained the upmost professionalism. He did not over complicate the situation and told us as they were wheeling him back to surgery that«the surgery is the easy part… the hard part is all the paperwork they make me do».
